Horo was the first one to speak as he looked up from the notification with an exasperated expression on his face.

"Is it just me or are we always getting caught up in some ominous shit?! Who the hell have we caught the eye of?"

Sonata nodded her head and chimed in.

"Agreed. Whatever that is doesn't sound good!"

Lily sighed before she tried to lift everyone's spirits by acting cheerfully.

"Hey at least we did better this time fighting as a group. No one has very serious injuries..."

Her words died as she noticed Horo staring at her with an incredulous expression on his face.

"No serious injuries? The fact that my arm is basically held together right now like some sort of fucked up super glue regen mechanic is NOT serious?!"

"Hey last time you were skewered to a tree by your hips! I would say it is an improvement!"

Lily puffed her cheeks as she retorted to Horo's indignation. Hearing what happened last time, Nyx struggled to her feet as her shoulders trembled from trying to suppress her laughter. She used her staff as support for her weight.

"I guess that's not the kind of 'penetration' you like huh~?"

Lily and Sonata blushed while Horo scowled when they heard Nyx's twisted humor.

"I thought we were becoming friends..."

"Oh we are sweetheart but how can I resist when you make the jokes so easy~"

While the two had taken a large brunt of the damage in both the physical and mental sense, Sonata noticed that Nyx and Horo seemed to have this sort of connection that she couldn't ever hope to imitate.

'Am I jealous? They look like they are gonna fight each other...'

Sonata shook her head, dispelling the crazy thought as she turned back to see Leo and Lily inspecting the loot not too far away.

She left the bickering duo and Lily behind to follow up with the siblings to check out to see what had dropped.

She noticed the pretty silver battle axe that had found itself into Luna's hands. She could see the excitement and interest gleaming in Luna's eyes as she inspected the weapon. Leo noticed Sonata approaching and waved her over with an amicable smile on his face.

Yet Sonata blushed lightly as she didn't know where to look. In his current attire, Leo was practically naked as only scraps of cloth covered his waist.

His new masculine physique was also undeniably attractive to girls yet he retained his honest and innocently naive countenance. The contrast was refreshing and dangerous, thankfully the dimly lit cave was able to hide her blush as she felt it would be too awkward if she looked at him in that way.

"We were just about to split the loot. What are those three doing?"

He asked squinting as he glanced at Nyx and Horo who were squabbling like children while Lily watched on with mischief in her eyes. Her expression seemed to say she wished that she had some popcorn to watch the show.

"Probably arguing? When I walked away, they were trading insults..."

Sonata began to explain when Lily energetically shouted with mischief decorating her tone.

"CRIPPLE FIGHT~!"

Luna scowled as she yelled towards her best friend

"Lily! That's enough!"

There was an immediate silence as Lily lowered her head in shame while Nyx and Horo exchanged looks.

"Serves you right..."

They said in perfect unison before walking towards Leo and the rest, leaving Lily to sulk alone.

"Why am I the one who gets bullied in the end..."

She grumbled softly before she too joined the rest of the group.

Horo looked towards the small pile of stuff that Onikiba had dropped

"So Boss...What did we get?"

The loot this time was far more diverse than what they had seen before. Unlike with the goblins who only carried wooden or rusty metal weapons, he noticed there was a small orb filled with a mysterious smoke, a leather chestplate, a ring, some boots and a book of some kind in addition to the axe that was already in Luna's hands.

Luna hugged the handle of the axe when she noticed everyone staring at her and the axe in question. She clearly wasn't willing to give it up. Leo let out a sigh as he gently remarked

"Sis... No one is going to take the axe from you. You are our only axe user anyways. It's yours. Just share the details of it."

Luna had a hesitant expression before she nodded her head in affirmation. Shortly afterwards, a screen appeared before everyone, allowing them to see the details of her new axe.

"What the hell?! That axe will be crazy once it's repaired! How are we going to repair it?"

She had a hint of excitement in her voice as she was genuinely happy for Luna and any opportunity for her friend to get stronger was a reason to celebrate.

"About that...."

Luna was a bit hesitant as she stole nervous glances toward Leo.

"While I was unconscious...there was this man who called himself a god. Or he acted like he was one. I don't know...."

Everyone's attention was locked on Luna. Nyx raised an eyebrow as she remarked

"What did this Schrodinger's God say?"

Sonata whispered to Horo, hoping he could help her.

"What did Nyx say?"

Horo rolled his eyes as he responded.

"A dumb joke honestly...Is it a god or not. Could be both I guess..."

Having spent most of her time focusing on her music career, Lily had no idea what he was talking about but she didn't want to appear dumb so she merely nodded her head as if she understood. .

"He said that Leo had a skill that should be used in conjunction with this axe. A skill that you have yet to use at all... Do you know what he was talking about Leo?"

Leo raked through his memory trying to think of what she could possibly be thinking of but after a few moments, it clicked. There was one skill that he had not yet tried to use.

"It's Ego Creation..."

As soon as those words left his lips, a burst of black light, his surroundings disappeared, leaving only him, the axe floating in the air and the mysterious orb that now looked like it was burning in a purplish ghostly fire.

A notification appeared before his eyes that made his jaw drop.
