Nothing. Leo was confused as to why the silver gun wouldn't fire. Just when he was about to shout in frustration, Astra cut in with a sharp tone.

'You need to reload! Spin me!'

'Spin?!'

'Just do it!'

Using the trigger guard, Leo spun his silver gun and then tried to fire it again. This time a silver bullet was launched with another loud crack. Leo could not understand why it worked... but it did. Mors chuckled in amusement as he remarked.

'One Spin Equals One Bullet~! There are Two Guns so you can only fire twice before you reload~! Full reload is to spin us around twice each~'

'Two bullets? That isn't much!'

"Leo! That was a healing bullet yeah?! Heal Luna!"

Lily's panicked voice dragged Leo away from his thoughts. Turning his head, he saw Luna crumpled against the cave wall. Her eyes were bloodshot and her hand still grabbed her axe tightly but she struggled to stand after trading blows with Enkiba earlier.

Gritting his teeth, he cocked the silver gun and shot it at Luna. The bullet struck the side of her temple accurately with a dull thud.

[Critical Strike!]

Leo's eyes widened in shock as a critical notice appeared above his sister's head.

'Healing could crit?!'

Mors cackled in response.

'You fired a gun~! You hit a delicate spot, why wouldn't it crit~!'

Leo snorted in derision at Mors casual tone but with a twirl of the obsidian gun, he fired a shot towards Enkiba. The bullet hit the BOSS's shoulder and punctured the thick skin coated in flames.

"GROOAOR"

Enkiba let out an enraged howl as the flames covering its body grew hotter still. The air itself felt scorched and Nyx who was at the forefront was sweating profusely.

"Can someone deal with this thing already?! My hair is getting burnt here and I am gonna have really weird suntan lines at this rate!"

Despite her complaints, Nyx was still giving it her best to attack the monster. Unfortunately, due to its enraged state, her attacks were proving to be ineffective at dealing any damage to Enkiba. It felt like she was trying to use a feather to smash a rock.

"That is a weird thing to focus on!"

Horo quipped as he threw Arachne at the beasts head. While it dodged the blade, it bumped into the thread attached to it, the weight of the blade caused it to quickly wrap around the beasts neck, the blade digging into its flesh but not enough to slit its throat.

[-34]

Incensed, Enkiba grabbed the thread and yanked on it with all of its might. Surprisingly, the thread did not break but that was not a good thing for Horo whose expression grew dark immediately.

"Shit!"

[-101]

Was the only thing he could say before he was sent soaring through the air and crashed into a wall next to Luna who had finally managed to stand up, ready to rejoin the fight. She gave a quick glance at Horo who was sprawled out with his legs in the air.

Horo couldn't tell if it was his scrambled mind playing tricks on him or if it was just his imagination but he could have sworn he saw Luna smirk mockingly at him before she went back into the fight.

'Thiss Bitch!'

Luna charged again, fueled by the sudden burst of strength granted by Leo's healing shot and Sonata's buff. She launched herself at Enkiba with a reckless howl, her axe flashing under the cavern's molten light.

Meanwhile, Leo furiously spun both of his guns, the twin blunderbusses whirling around his fingers with an audible whirrr-click as he reloaded them. He felt like he could add in some acrobatics at some point but for now he just focused on firing.

'One Spin, One Bullet!'

Astra shouted in his head, almost giddy as if she was dizzy.

'And don't forget to aim this time, Boss!'

Mors added cheerfully.

It looked like the Egos themselves were getting a little loopy from what was essentially there body was in a consistent state of spinning

Snapping his arms up, Leo took aim—one silver, one black barrel locking onto their respective targets.

BANG!

BANG!

Two shots fired almost simultaneously.

The silver bullet smashed into Horo, flooding him with a surge of vitality.

[+68!]

The black bullet struck Enkiba's eye just as the beast swung down at Nyx. The impact made Enkiba blow go wide and slam harmlessly into the ground with an earth-shaking BOOM as it let out a roar of agony

[-100!]

[Critical Strike!]

"Keep it up, Leo!"

Horo coughed from where he was trying to peel himself off the wall, groaning like a broken accordion.

Nyx, barely missing a fiery death, blew Leo a kiss mid-dodge.

"You can shoot me anytime, Cutie~!"

Leo flushed slightly but continued to focus, his mind straining to maintain constant focus of his surroundings and predicting where his allies and enemy will be.

"Leo, your nose is bleeding!"

Lily rushed to his side, another potion in hand in an attempt to do any first aid she possibly could. Moku was at her heel, a leaf in his mouth, most likely some sort of healing herb that he had produced somehow.

A look of concern flashed over her face as she realized the blood wasn't stopping.

"What's causing this?!"

"My brain....on fire!"

Is what he managed to utter while continuing to fire. He knew that if he stopped now, he wouldn't have the energy to continue any longer.

Leo barely registered Lily's panicked shouts as he spun the silver gun again.

Whirr-click!

His fingers were trembling, his vision blurry, but somehow he found Luna again in the chaos. She was staggering, bleeding from a dozen fresh burns, but still hacking away at Enkiba's massive legs like a woman possessed.

"Hang in there...!"

Leo hissed through gritted teeth.

BANG!

The silver bullet zipped through the haze and struck Luna squarely in the back — another jolt of vitality flooding into her battered body.

[+66!]

Lily glanced down at Moku who wagged his little tail at her. She felt useless as her hands trembled.

"What do I do Moku..."

She mumbled, her voice drowned out by the din of battle. Moku didn't answer and instead held the leaf out to her. She took it gingerly, not sure how it was going to be of any help. That was until she saw the description of the leaf.

Item: Link Leaf

Consumable

Player who has half of the Leaf is able to telepathically communicate with the holder of the other half of the leaf. The closer the distance, the more that can be shared including the five basic senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste

Without wasting a breath, she ripped the leaf in half. She stood up and before Leo could object, shoved the leaf into his drooping mouth. She used her hand to hold his mouth shut as she whispered in his ear.

"Don't think! Just follow the feeling you receive!"

Leo's eyes widened as the bitter taste of the leaf filled his tongue, forcing his drifting consciousness back to focus. His surprise turned to shock as when Lily put the leaf into her mouth, his senses expanded.

It was like he was seeing the world again in a different lens. For a moment, he saw his own bloodied face reflected back at him, not through a mirror, but through Lily's desperate, determined eyes.

'Leo. Get Ready. I'll say the colour silver or black and you shoot where I am looking. Understood?'

He nodded his head at Lily's mental communication. He understood what she wanted to do. While he would still fire away, she would act as a sort of computer to calculate the shots. A small smile curled the corners of his lips as he took aim.

It was time for a real genius to call the shots.
