Chapter 1627: Chapter 69 : Sharing More Than Music

*Briella*

The words had slipped from my lips before I could weigh their suggestive tone. My heart raced as Kryzen’s gray eyes locked onto mine, an unreadable expression crossing his face.

I moved, suddenly aware of the outfit I was wearing. Arista had found it for me, promising it was perfect for exploring the water-filled caverns of Astral Haven. But now, standing before Kryzen, I realized just how revealing the skimpy waterproof attire was. It hugged my form a bit too snugly, leaving little to the imagination.

"Sure," he replied, his voice steady, but there was a twinkle in his eye that hadn’t been there before.

I swallowed hard, cursing myself internally. I wanted this. Oh, how I wanted him, but I wanted to show him this first. "It’s just..." I stammered, trying to redirect his thoughts from the unintentional innuendo.

His gaze heated as he took a step toward me, hands outstretched. “Briella, mate," Kryzen breathed out, his voice heavy with something more than just admiration for the cave’s natural splendor. He stepped forward, gray eyes alight with a fire that had nothing to do with the luminescent stones adorning the walls.

His advance sent a jolt of nerves skittering down my spine. I stepped back, the water lapping gently at my ankles. On instinct, my lips parted in song.

The melody was one that came to me naturally, flowing through me. It was serene yet powerful. As the notes spilled from my tongue, I felt the air thrum with energy.

"Your voice..." Kryzen’s words trailed off. His hands were still outstretched as if reaching for the source of the enchantment.

A tremor of delight shivered through me as I saw the rapt attention in Kryzen’s eyes. With each sway of my body, a corresponding wave of color rippled across the cave walls, enchanting the space around us. My feet moved lightly over the cold stone floor, a dance I seemed to know by heart like I had already learned every step. In another life, maybe I had.

"Your voice," Kryzen breathed out, his voice a husky echo that mingled with the lingering notes of my song. "It’s like nothing I’ve ever heard."

I could only offer him a bashful smile, my heart thrumming in my chest. This was more than singing. This was sharing a piece of my soul. I closed my eyes, feeling the magic within me stir and swell, eager to be guided by my will.

"Watch," I whispered, my voice barely carrying over the sound of the underground stream nearby.

Drawing from the lessons Arista had given me, I focused my energy, letting it flow through the melodies that spilled from my lips. The water answered my call, rising from the depths like an eager serpent charmed by music. Its surface shimmered like liquid silver under the gemstone light, twisting and turning as if caught in a gentle breeze.

"By the gods," Kryzen murmured, his astonishment clear as the water began to weave around me in intricate patterns.

I pushed hard, letting my magic fill the sounds and flow through the music as it spilled from me.

The gemstones embedded in the rock face responded to my call, pulsating with light that echoed the cadence of my singing. They flickered like stars caught within the stone, bathing us in a dance of colors that played across Kryzen’s entranced features.

"How do you do that?"

"Magic is emotion, and voice is its conduit," I explained, keeping the rhythm of the dance alive with every tap of my foot. "Feelings guide the flow, and tonight, joy wants to play."

His gaze followed the fluid movements, a curious child’s wonder replacing the usual intensity in his eyes. I reveled in this moment of connection, our barriers dissolving under the shared awe of what this world could hold.

"Can you feel it?" I asked, reaching out a hand toward him but not quite touching. "The magic, the life in everything?"

Kryzen nodded, entranced, his eyes reflecting the dance of water and light. "I can almost touch it," he said, his voice wistful.

"Then let it move you," I encouraged, my spirit soaring as I watched him open up before me, vulnerable in a way that both delighted and terrified me.

"Is this what you wanted to show me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, roughened by the emotion that tightened his throat.

"Yes," I replied, finding strength in the vibration of the cavern around us.

"Beautiful," he said again, though his gaze never left mine. "I’ve never seen anything like it."

"Nor have I. This is amazing, Kryzen, and I wanted to share it with you," I confessed, my heart pounding against my chest, resonating with the rhythm of the waters. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

The water swirled around me. It danced to the tune of my voice, light and free, an extension of the joy bubbling within my core. But the dance was suddenly interrupted when Kryzen closed the distance between us with startling speed. The shock of his movement sent ripples through the water, scattering it like raindrops.

His hand reached up, not quite touching the side of my face, as if he were afraid to disrupt the spell.

"Thank you, Briella," he murmured, "for trusting me, choosing me, and being this amazingly beautiful, talented, and strong woman. Thank you for loving me. I do not know what I would do without you, Briella. I love you so much."

Our breaths mingled, and the warmth radiating from him wrapped around me.

His lips crashed against mine, urgent and demanding, pulling a gasp from me that broke the spellbinding control I had over the elements. The water cascaded down around us, droplets catching in our hair and dampening our skin, yet all I could focus on was the heat of Kryzen’s mouth on mine.

"K-Kryzen?" I managed between fervent kisses, my words barely escaping as he kept pressing his lips to mine, growing more heated with each passing second.

"You’re amazing, Briella," he murmured against my lips, his breath hot and his presence all-consuming. His hands were gentle yet insistent, guiding my head back to grant him better access as his mouth traveled from my lips down the column of my neck.

"I love you too," I whispered, desire coloring my tone as I tilted my head to give him space. His lips found my collarbone. A shiver raced down my spine. It was not from the coolness of the cave but from the intensity of his touch.

"Every part of you is incredible," Kryzen breathed out, his voice vibrating against my skin, sending waves of warmth cascading through me. His praise filled the air around us, mingling with the lingering notes of my song and creating a symphony of sensations that threatened to overwhelm my senses.

"Kryzen..." The name came out as a sigh, a plea, as much as a recognition of the man who had crossed realms of duty and expectation to show me this raw, passionate side of himself. I felt his heart beating fiercely against my chest in time with my own, two warriors caught in a moment of unexpected vulnerability.

"Let me show you," he said, his voice husky, "how you make me feel." And with every kiss, every touch, he did just that, charting a path of adoration across my skin that left me breathless and yearning for more.

Kryzen’s hands moved with a gentle urgency, tracing the lines of my two-piece as if committing every detail to memory. The cool air of the cave brushed against my skin where his fingers had been, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. His lips followed, pressing soft kisses that held promises and whispered words that echoed through the cavernous space, "You are a wonder, Briella."

"Kryzen," I breathed, feeling the fabric fall away under his deft touch. My heart hammered in my chest, each beat a drum calling me closer to him. The transparent wings of fabric that once hung around me now lay discarded, forgotten as he worshipped the skin beneath.

"Every inch," he murmured, his breath hot on my skin, "deserves to be adored." His fingers danced over my flesh, igniting fires that no water could quench. His praise was a balm to my soul, platitudes that felt like the deepest truths at that moment.

"Please," was all I could manage, a plea wrapped in the moan that escaped my lips when his mouth found new skin to worship. His name became a mantra on my lips as he honored every part of me with his devotion.

The cold stone floor of the cave was a stark contrast to the heat between us. He lowered me down with such care as if I were something precious or sacred.

The hardness of the ground did nothing to diminish the tenderness with which he treated me. There, on that unforgiving surface, we found a rhythm as old as time, moving together, learning the language of our bodies in whispers and gasps.

His touch was like fire, searing every nerve ending and sending waves of pleasure through me. I arched my back, pressing myself closer to him, craving more of his touch.

Kryzen’s fingers danced over my body with a skill that left me gasping for air. He knew exactly where to touch and how much pressure to apply. It was a symphony of sensations that sent me spiraling toward an edge I didn’t know existed.

My body trembled under his ministrations as he took me higher and higher, teasing and coaxing me until I couldn’t take it anymore.

"Please," I begged, my voice barely above a whisper. Kryzen’s eyes met mine. In them, I saw nothing but desire and adoration.

He moved up my body slowly, kissing every inch of skin he passed until our faces were level. My breath hitched as he entered me swiftly, filling me completely and sending sparks of pleasure shooting through my veins.

Our bodies moved together in perfect harmony as we found a rhythm that was uniquely ours. The cave echoed with the sounds of our passion as we gave ourselves completely to each other.

I lost track of time at that moment, only aware of the warmth of his skin against mine and the way his touch ignited fireworks inside me. It felt like we were all alone in the world, two bodies entwined in a dance that was both primal and divine.

"Beautiful," he groaned, his voice strained with passion as he moved within me. His gray eyes locked onto mine, a storm of emotion swirling within them. I saw a tempest of desire, awe, and something deeper and unspoken but understood.

"Kryzen," I said, my voice echoing off the walls, a declaration, an anchor in the whirlwind that surrounded us. Our movements grew more heated, a crescendo of feeling that built and built until it consumed us both.

As our movements became more frantic and urgent, I felt myself teetering on the edge again. Kryzen’s name escaped my lips in a breathless moan as I fell over the precipice into pure ecstasy.

He followed soon after, his body shuddering against mine as he poured himself into me with a low growl. Our breathing slowly returned to normal as we lay tangled together on the cold ground.

In the aftermath, as we lay entwined on the cave floor, the coolness seeped back into my awareness, but it couldn’t touch the warmth that enveloped us. It was a warmth that came not from the fire of passion but from the glowing embers of something that might one day grow into an enduring blaze.

After what seemed like an eternity, Kryzen spoke, his voice husky and full of emotion. "You are my everything, Briella Black.”
