Chapter 236: Chapter 236: Honey, Have a Baby for Me

Listening to the "beep beep beep" of the busy tone from the phone, Caden Lockwood’s face indeed darkened even more.

Julian Keaton was clearly mocking him!

Mocking him for taking so long and still not getting Evelyn Morgan’s body.

Although he was confident that he held some weight in her heart.

However, this progress was truly too slow for him.

Caden Lockwood was furious.

If Julian Keaton were right in front of him now, he would surely have knocked Julian down to show him who’s boss.

But right now, he was at a loss for what to do.

If he were to demand Evelyn Morgan now, it would mean he hadn’t held himself together, as if he were following Julian Keaton’s orders.

If he continued to be a gentleman, sleeping next to Evelyn Morgan without taking action, he would be completely overshadowed by Julian Keaton.

Damn it!

Why does his life include a toxic friend like Julian Keaton?

Rising to his feet, Caden Lockwood walked towards the bedroom and saw Evelyn Morgan slumped over the table, looking listless. His heart softened, but the anger and dissatisfaction in his chest didn’t dissipate at all.

Hearing a sound behind her, Evelyn Morgan instinctively sat up.

She glanced back and saw Caden Lockwood, then subconsciously smiled and said, "Uncle, are you finished so early?"

Looking at the smile blossoming on Evelyn Morgan’s face, Caden Lockwood’s breath was ragged and heated.

"Erin Morgan." His tone wasn’t kind, "Do you know why people continue to exist?"

"Huh?" Evelyn Morgan was shocked.

Was Caden Lockwood suddenly having a brain cramp?

"Why... ask me such a profound question?" Evelyn Morgan pouted, "Even scientists can’t solve this puzzle, how could I possibly know?"

"Because people can procreate." Caden Lockwood’s tone was arrogant, his face radiating undeniable pride.

Studying Caden Lockwood up and down, Evelyn Morgan laughed even harder.

"People procreate so they continue to exist?" Her eyes sparkled brightly, "Dinosaurs could procreate too, why did they go extinct?"

"That’s why humans must keep procreating to avoid going down the dinosaur path!" Caden Lockwood declared boldly.

Taking long strides, he approached Evelyn Morgan, his feet pressing against hers, looking down at her, his fierce gaze completely enveloping her.

Evelyn Morgan blinked, and her heartbeat involuntarily sped up.

Seeing Caden Lockwood’s handsome, vibrant face, she inexplicably felt a bit guilty.

"Oh." She responded honestly.

But, why did he suddenly want to discuss this with her?

Seeing Evelyn Morgan totally oblivious, Caden Lockwood simply grabbed her wrist and pulled her upright.

"Don’t understand?" Caden Lockwood raised an eyebrow, "Humans must have offspring to avoid extinction, and genes like mine are not easily found!"

"Hmm." Evelyn Morgan responded, her face still clouded with confusion.

She looked at his large, rough hand on her arm, showing no pity.

She murmured softly, "You’re hurting me."

"Then let’s try a different, painless way." Caden Lockwood wrapped her waist, lifting her slender frame and carrying her to the bed, where he laid her down, pinning her beneath him.

Looking at the imprint her body left on the bed, an arc of satisfaction appeared on his lips, his handsome face looking even more breathtaking.

"Mrs." His voice seeped out from between his lips, deep and rich beyond measure, "Have a child for me."
