Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 650: Return

Suddenly being asked if she wanted to get back what she had given up made Yue Xuexia think things deeply. Her feelings towards another person that is not her family, her heart that beats for another person’s sake, she had longed to give them up for a reason. If her memories serve right, it’s the feeling of tiredness, disappointment and betrayal. When someone had enough, they would also give up. When someone felt the pain in their heart they would also want to rest to forget the pain. The Moon Goddess and the system disappeared from the broken Ancient Ruins. She returned to the world of the Exiled Star where everyone else was waiting for her. The people she had brought to the Ancient Ruins except for a few missing people who had lost their life in that world, only her family hasn’t returned with her. This includes her grandfather, grandmother and their disciple.

Though people had heard what she had done inside the ancient ruins no one had dared to question her actions. Destroying a whole dimension just because she got angry no one wants to try it in their own world. Moreover, the Moon Goddess was kind enough to let them keep what they had found or caught in that world at the same time giving away more resources of not being able to stay inside as long as they expected.

There is also the fact that after she had destroyed that dimension, those who were supposed to be locked inside for failing to reach Huashen Realm had returned safely to this world. Some had broken through the Huashen Realm as well. The people who had gathered in Xinglou Kingdom after getting what they wanted had started to leave.

Yue Xuexia remained in her small mansion for a while. She was waiting for some guests to come see her. As expected one of them came and they are from the Starfield Sect. Led by the Sect Master of the Starfield Sect, Xing Kunlun, they come to visit Yue Xuexia. The Moon Goddess had welcomed them in her place and served some spiritual tea for the guests to enjoy.

Sect Master Xing Kunlun speaks, " There is no need to waste the time of the Goddess. I just would like to ask where my Shixiong, his wife and his disciple, Xia Baiyu had gone to?"

"You should have tried divination to find them, what are the results you have gained?" Yue Xuexia asked.

The Sect Master of the Starfield frowned and said, "The response is...their star fate can no longer be found in this realm. Are they already..."

"They are not dead. However, it is true that they are no longer in this world. They had to ascend by accident. They are now in the Immortal World. They had no time to say their goodbye as going there was their only way to survive. You should have heard some rumors about what had happened in the Ancient Ruins." The Moon Goddess said.

Sect Master Xing Kunlun’s face turned gloomy. He said, "Cultivators from the Immortal World were chasing after people and hunting them in the Ancient Ruin. Shixiong and them... were they targeted?"

"Yes. To escape, Grandfather had sacrificed her mortal clone and brought away my grandmother and their disciple Xia Baiyu." Yue Xuexia said.

Xing Kunlun was stunned as if he heard something unexpected and looked at the Moon Goddess whose realm she couldn’t see through.

"M-Mortal Clone? Shixiong is a clone?!" He exclaimed which shocked not only the Sect Master the Starfield but everyone from their sect.

Yue Xuexia remained calm and lightly nodded her head. "The origin of my family is from the Immortal World. Grandfather had only descended in this world to look for his wife, which is my grandmother Su Hialun. Now that she is found, with his memories of his original self. They had chosen to return to their world. They weren’t able to say their farewell as it was out of their control. It was unknown when they would return."

"However, please don’t grieve. I will make a decision for him instead. Let Gou Yuki be the successor of the Crimson Star Tower. There is no need to give him all of the resources given to my grandfather. Half of it will do until you believe his heart leans in your sect. If one day he chooses to leave, I will ask him to choose someone from your sect to take over."

"One more thing. I will be ascending to the Immortal World three years from now. I will be returning to the Mortal Realm soon to do something once I return to his realm that will be when I will ascend. Those who wish to ascend with me, I will bring you away. Spread this to everyone in the Cultivation Realm. You also cannot stay in this world for too long. Three years should be enough for you to choose your successor."

Sect Master Xing Kunlun was surprised that the young lady in front of him had told him he can’t stay in this world for any longer.

After saying this, the people of the Starfield Sect had taken their leave. This time the one that appeared before her are her subordinates, Tan Bingyu, Xue Renxue, Tan Huangyu and others from their side who had successfully come out of the Ancient Ruins alive.

"Mistress, can we go with you to the Immortal World?" Tan Bingyu asked.

Yue Xuexia looked and checked on their realms. Most of them had broken through Huashen Realm. With her protection they should be able to survive in the Immortal World.

She said, "You can come with me. But it seems your grandmother also had connections to the Immortal World. Your grandfather will most likely come with her. Your father is the disciple of Jueyang and he will definitely be chased after by the people who wanted his legacy like when I saved him once. He mustn’t let himself get caught until he found his own master. You two can come with me. But I do not think you will be able to stay by my side for too long."

She had used divination to watch the fate of those who are connected to her. The karma these two have with the phoenix race cannot be cut off by her and only be resolved by them. She didn’t tell them what would happen but gave them a hint in the form of a warning.

"The karma of your bloodline will befall on you once you ascend. You should be careful once we ascend. Also I plan to stay in the Black Cloud Academy after ascending. It will be your choice whether to come with me or not. Prepare for three years. You can stay in this realm or go back with me to the Mortal Realm. I will be returning to the Mortal Realm a month from now. If you wish to return with me, come to this house. You may take your leave." The Moon Goddess said.

Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue clasped their hands and bowed their heads before leaving the place. Outside Tan Huangyu is waiting with the people of both the Hidden Tan Clan and the Snow Clan. After Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue told their elders the worlds of the Moon Goddess they made their decision.

Tan Huangyu said, "I had promised your grandmother to accompany her back home. I will be ascending with her. However, the Mistress words about your bloodline. She might be talking about your Phoenix Bloodline or something else. It can be said that both of you have bloodlines connected to the Immortal World."

"For now, it’s good to come back to the north before making any decision. There is still a month before the Mistress leaves for the Mortal Realm. At that time, I will go with her and bring back our clan who wished to return to this realm. It is also alright if they wanted to remain in the Mortal Realm. Thanks to the Mistress, the people of this Realm will no longer attempt to invade the Mortal Realm and instead it would welcome people from that world after all experts of the Huashen Realm ascend with the Mistress."

Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue decide to leave for north with Tan Huangyu together with their clans’ members. They will be returning to the Xinglou Empire to meet the Moon Goddess in a month’s time. After they had taken their leave the royalty of this empire came to visit the Moon Goddess as well.
