Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 648: Blood Moon’s Curse

After the Moon Goddess and her system had worked together, they had successfully subdued the Laws of the Heaven in the Ancient Ruins. Though it took all of the can to win against it, it was enough for the two to get what they wanted. Yue Xuexia hated this world for capturing and causing the death of her family. Even though now she knew that they were simply their clones made for soul fragments. At least for Yue Xuexia, they are her real parents and the one that gave birth to her. Her source of existence.

That’s when they were touched regardless of whether it was the heavens or fate who made a move, Yue Xuexia is willing to exterminate them. As long as the thing that caused them harm no longer exists they will be safe and Yue Xuexia would sigh in relief. Seeing the cracks on this dimension, Yue Xuexia didn’t look scared and instead was so calm that it was scary. She had descended to meet the others. Protected by her, the destruction of the dimension didn’t affect the Second Prince Yue Wuya and the rest. They waited for Yue Xuexia to come meet them.

Yue Xuexia said, "This dimension will not last for you. I will have to send you back to your worlds."

With a flip of her hand two storage bags appeared on her palms. One flew in the hands of her second brother and the other in the hands of her master, Dean Wuyao.

She said, "Within it is half of all the resources of this dimension. It also has some living being in it and you can treat the bad as some kind of artifact with a small world in it. To gain ownership you must drop a blood on the bag."

Dean Wu Yao and Second Prince Yue Wuya did as she said and dripped blood on the bag. They suddenly left a connection in this bag and realized that it was a space artifact that can grow on its own. The two didn’t say anything and thanked Yue Xuexia.

Yue Xuaxia smiled, "Erge, Master, I will not be returning to the Immortal World with you. I still have some business left in the mortal star I was born into. Once I am done with it, I shall ascend and come see you."

"Sigh~ This old man knows. What happened in this ruin will definitely spread in the Immortal World. Xue’er makes use of the artifact master had given you. If you don’t have to fight then avoid it for now. After absorbing the laws of this world, the other world’s law will definitely notice you as well. Xue’er to go against the heavens is dangerous," Dean Wu Yao said.

Yue Xuexia smiled and said, "I will listen to you, Master. Take good care of yourself. In your bag, I have included all the remains of your group. Please find a good spot to bury them and send them away."

"Thank you, Xue’er. I will wait for you in the Black Clouds Academy," said Dean Wu Yao as he gave his token to his disciple before being sent out.

Second Moon Prince, Yue Wuya asked, "Xue’er, are you not coming back with me? Mom, Dad, Grandfather, Ruru and Xiao Ji are waiting for you at home."

When Yue Xuexia heard about her younger sisters being with them, Yue Xuexia realized that her father and mother had most likely transferred their souls to the Immortal World and what was left behind in this realm is just their clone. Hearing about this removes the heaviness in her heart. Even though she wanted to come home and see her family, she chose not to. Her current strength is not enough to protect them yet.

Yue Xuexia shook her head and said, "I can’t return yet. Erge, I have so many enemies and my strength isn’t enough. I don’t want to burden you and the family. I will find you when it’s the right time. Wait for me to come back. Please don’t find me."

"Xue’er!" Second Prince Yue Wuya and his group were sent back to their own worlds.

After everyone else was sent out by Yue Xuexia’s system, her smile completely disappeared as he looked at the sole survivor among the fairy cultivators who had caused the death of her family in this world. Even though they are mostly clones, their deaths had still greatly affected her. Looking coldly at the captured man on the ground, she kicked him awake.

When the man opened his eyes he was frightened by the scene of the broken dimension around him as if he couldn’t believe there was someone capable of destroying dimensions. He was terrified and confused.

"W-What the... hell had happened here?" He murmured with a trembling voice.

Yue Xuexia said, "Awake?"

The voice of the Moon Goddess startled the man and when he looked at her, he immediately felt the overbearing pressure of her strength. He is bewildered. How come the woman who is only at peak Huashen Realm before becoming an Emperor Realm cultivator? He questioned reality but the reality before him doesn’t change at all.

"Who the hell are you?!" The man questioned.

Yue Xuexia raised an eyebrow and said, "You came and killed my family and you dare to ask who this empress is?"

Seeing the moon behind the woman from before, the fairy cultivator’s face turned pale in shock and fear. Though they knew that the one who they are hunting was connected to the Moon Goddess, he never expected to be so unlucky to meet the Goddess of the Moon.

"M-Moon... Moon Goddess? But didn’t they say you’re dead? The rumors saying that you are alive are real?!" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

"Did your Queen not tell you who had slapped her face swollen?" Retort Yue Xuexia.

Seeing the man’s face paler as if bloodless, Yue Xuexia felt no pity towards him. Instead, she felt rage towards all fairy races connected to the bloodline of the Fairy Queen.

"This time you hard angered this Empress well so a punishment for your whole kind must be given." Yue Xuexia said.

The man trembles as he feels dread to what is coming next, "P-Punishment for the whole race? What do you want to do?"

"Have you heard of the Blood Moon’s Curse?" Yue Xuexia said.

She approached the man who instantly knew what the Goddess in front of him wanted to do. The Blood Moon’s Curse, a punishment one can only receive from someone from the Moon Clan. Anyone who received this curse would affect their whole race, engraved with a moon curse on their skin unable to be removed.

It would greatly cause one immense pain every time the night fell and the realm would be lowered five times below one original realm and endless bleeding from the imprint every night. It would be worse when the moon is out. A heavy curse that anyone from the Moon Clan bestows to beings they hated the most and only the one who placed the curse can remove it.

"N-No... Please no... NOO!!!"

Immortal World

After everyone was sent out of the Ancient Ruin, a pile of treasure was sent out with them and this includes some beast which was tied up with some kind of living branches as if provided by the dimension as compensation. Before everyone’s eyes, the gates of the Ancient Ruin crumbles. There isn’t anyone who can do it.

However, someone had done it. Though not everyone knew what happened there are some who said they had seen the Goddess of the Moon in the Ancient Ruin. They indirectly pointed out that the one who had destroyed the Ancient Ruin is most likely the Moon Goddess. The Ancient Ruin is a training ground the heirs of the Immortal World used. Now that it is gone, it made those who wanted to train their descendants angry. However, they didn’t have proof that everything was done by the Moon Goddess. They only say that they saw her there.

There is also no way to twist the truth as the Second Moon Prince, some other seniors were there. They had declared that the ruins broke down on its own and the one they chose to blame are the fairy cultivators who were hunting their people in the ruins. Even saying that the one who saved their descendant is the Moon Goddess herself.

Seeing that the sole survivor of the fairy cultivators came out with the Blood Moon’s Curse, people believe this side of the story more and continue to blame the Fairy Race. There is also another rumor saying that the enraged Moon Goddess had cursed the whole Fairy Race including the Fairy Queen making their faces bleed endlessly and suffer unbearable pain every time the sun sets and the moon is out.

Everyone knew that the Blood Moon’s Curse cannot be cured unless it was removed by the caster. With the caster being the Moon Goddess, this curse is much more potent and it greatly weakened the Fairy Race. The Fairy Queen can only plead to the Immortal Star Emperor.

The Fairy Queen kneels down avoiding meeting the eyes of the Star Emperor. After all, not only is the swelling on her cheek not fading now there is a cruel moon shaped wound on her forehead which continues bleeding.

"Your Majesty, please save this Imperial Concubine!" The Fairy Queen Ambrosia begged.

"How many times have I warned you? She had changed. She knows how to be ruthless and is a bit cruel now. You sent people to hunt her people and the curse is her retaliation." The Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xieju said.

The Fairy Queen said, "But your Majesty, look what she had done to my face! I just want to make her pay for it a little bit and only target the mortals under her, not even her real family."

"Then among the mortals you must have touched someone you shouldn’t have. Don’t you know why the Blood Moon’s Curse is incurable?" The Immortal Star Emperor asked.

The Fairy Queen asked, "Why is that?"

"The Blood Moon Curse is activated by using the caster’s blood essence. If you are as strong as she is, you could suppress the curse. There are only two ways to resolve the curse. One is to beg the caster to remove it and the second one is to kill the caster," the Immortal Star Emperor said.

The Star Emperor, Xing Xieju tried to suppress the curse but his qi was rejected and a bit of frost covered his hand surprising not only the Fairy Queen but the Immortal Star Emperor himself.

"It seems her realm in her physical body is not as weak as her soul’s realm." The Immortal Star Emperor said.

He backed away and said, "It is not possible for me to suppress the curse but I have healed your face. This is all I can do. You should go." The Immortal Star Emperor said.

He had sent the Fairy Queen away without her permission and melted the ice in his hand. A serious expression on his face appeared.

"You’ve gotten too strong, my little moon. I hope you don’t catch the attention of those old things." he mumbles.
