Entering the door connected to this world, the Moon Goddess had taken a lead. However, the moment everyone opened their eyes, those who were standing beside them before entering had been gone. Only those who had tightly held on to their loved one and friends were able to get teleported in the same place. Though this is only useful for three to five people at the same time and any more would be impossible and they will be teleported somewhere else within this dimensional world.

The inside of the Ancient Ruin is like an abandoned, old fairy land, there are some crumbling floating islands, half destroyed buildings and scattered formations all over. Within these formations some are an immortal herb garden, orchard and even a vegetable garden. Maybe protected by the formation the things inside grew unhindered. It’s just that it’s quite hard to go in and go out.

Yue Xuexia seems to have fallen in a pond and thankfully she didn’t drown and floated on the water that seems to feel like a jelly at the same time not. The feeling as if one is laying on a marshmallow made the Moon Goddess reluctant to move. She closed her eyes as if preparing to sleep when suddenly she heard a voice coming by the shore.

"Ah! You crazy girl! Don’t sleep there!"

"Wake up! Wake up!"

"Oh my god! This damn little girl!"

"You are going to be the death of this old man!"

Before Yue Xuexia could open her eyes, she felt someone grab her robes back collar and she was carried like a naughty kitten. When she opened her eyes, she saw an old man with almost a ragged robe covered in dust and mud. If not for his Mahayama Realm cultivation he wouldn’t have survived until now.

Yue Xuexia looked at the old man who was scolding her.

"You stupid girl! Of all the places you had to sleep in there?! Don’t you know that’s the cloud swamp? If you had slept you would have drowned while at it. Dry your clothes. Also..."

The next moment, Yue Xuexia heard something fall and noticed the old man’s pale face and realized that he had overused his qi. When spreading her divine consciousness, she noticed countless monsters at Huashen Realm and Mahayama Realm surrounding the two of them. These beasts must be the reason for the old man’s poor state.

"Moon Domain, Descend."

Yue Xuexia summoned her flower spirit children. Before they entered the door connected to this world, she had allowed them to wait in her inner world for a while. Now that they are inside and she had to treat the old, she decided to leave the beast to her children.

"Mom, are we here?" Yue Huashui asked as he looked around.

Yue Huaxue said, "Wow~ so many beasts! Mommy can we eat it all?!"

"Well~ barely enough to fill the stomach. Shui-gege, Xiao Lei will help you~" said the Purple Lotus flower spirit who was named Yue Hualei. She happily joined the group where Yue Huashui is, after Yue Xuexia offered an equal contract with her like the rest of the flower spirit.

The youngest among the four named Yue Huajin had longed to run off before his sibling could move.

Yue Huaxue shouted as she chased their youngest, "Jinjin, wait! Don’t run off on your own!"

"Mom, don’t worry. Leave the beasts to us!" said Yue Huashui as he left while being followed by the purple head little girl.

Under the protection of her domain, Yue Xuexia didn’t have to worry about the children. She started checking on the old man and noticed that he was not only malnourished but also had multiple internal organs and broken bones, especially some ribs.

"Cultivators truly are hard to kill. If it’s a mortal who got this many injuries they would have longed to die."

"Only for your kind gesture of trying to save me, I will save your life, old man."

Yue Xuexia treated the old man for all his injuries. Mending his bones, regenerating his internal organs as well as curing him to full health. There is still fatigue left in the old man’s mind. That’s why despite getting healed, his qi recovery is fine but waking up took too long. The flower spirit children who had their fill returned, dragging a Heavenly Cow over which is at least early Huashen realm. It was already dead and most likely grabbed by the children to be cooked. As for the rest, it was most likely absorbed by her four children.

Yue Huajin hugged the Moon Goddess’s leg and said, ""Mama, BBQ!"

"We had scared them so badly. Most had run away but we ate everything we had captured. It was not bad~" said Yue Hualei.

Yue Huashui who was butchering the cow said, "Mom, there are lots of people observing this area. It is most likely because they thought that the beasts had gathered because of a treasure. They will most likely approach us. The weakest is at Mahayama Realm."

"Don’t worry. It’s almost evening. Under the moonlight, no one can defeat us," said Yue Xuexia.

However, just in case, she had chosen to teach these children how to conceal their cultivation realm from being pried over by strangers. After the nightfalls, they were grilling some beef when suddenly the sleeping old man had finally woke up. It’s most likely due to hunger as they can hear his stomach growling even before he completely wakes up.

"Wu~ what is that delicious smell? Is this old man dying?"

Yue Xuexia only glanced at the old man and continued cooking with A’Shui. As for the other three, two girls and one baby boy, they were surrounding the old man holding brush on their hands doodling on the old man’s face. So when the old man woke up, he met three round, innocent eyes staring at him.

There was silence for a moment until Yue Huajin’s drool fell on the old man’s face, waking him up instantly.

"Yeye~ puff~" said the little golden lotus flower spirit, Yue Huajin.

The old man sat up supporting the chubby waist of Yue Huajin, preventing the little one from falling and looking around. She saw the lady he had saved before he died, but it seems he had mistaken this place as heaven. Seeing the carefree attitude of the ones around him and the delicious scent of roasted meat, the old man felt relief.

The old man mumbles, "Is this heaven?"

"No, old man. You might die but can we die so easily?" Retorted Yue Hualei.

Yue Huaxue said, "Dajie, that’s a bit...too straightforward."

"How do you want me to say it then?" The Purple Lotus Flower Spirit asked,

The Snow Lotus Flower Spirit thought for a while and said, "Grandpa, us dying is not possible with Mommy with us, though I don’t know about you."

Pfft~

"Hahaha~ how is that different from what I said, Silly Whitey~?" Yue Hualei said as she pinched her younger sister’s face.

Yue Huaxue said, "Jiejie no pinchy~."

"Old man, I’ve healed your wounds and restored your whole body to its peak. You should take a bath and change your clothes then we can eat." Yue Xuexia said while sprinkling some cumin on the roasting beef over the fire.

Gulps~

The scent of the meat became stronger and made those who smell it swallow their saliva. The small baby boy and the old man look at each other and peek at the roasting beef over the fire. Suddenly like children they raced to reach the food faster. The two little girls who were suddenly left behind stare at the young and old dumbfounded.

The group ate a lot and satisfied their cravings. The old man who just finished eating lay on the ground with Yue Huajin patting their round stomachs while burping.

Burps~

"No more. So full~ that’s so delicious!" The old man said.

"Burp. Burps~ Delili~" said Yue Huajin.

The old man took a while to rest and finally look at Yue Xuexia. It cannot be hidden to him that the children around this young lady are not humans. He smells the scent of lotus flowers on them with varying lingering scenes. The white haired young lady had the scent of snow. The young man had a gentle and stable aura as if sailing on water. The obnoxious purple haired girl had an aggressive and static aura around her while this baby boy had lingering merits on him.

Same lotus flower scent but the aura of different elements gave it away that they are not humans and most likely plant spirits that this young lady owns. Moreover, the fact that this lady had fallen from the sky to that cloud swamp signifies that she had been teleported then there is only one identity this young lady possessed. Like him, she had entered this ruins from the outside or another dimension.

The Old man suddenly looked at Yue Xuexia and asked, "Yatou (Girl), you are from the outside, aren’t you?"

Yue Xuexia exchanged serious stares with the old man and nodded her head after seeing that this old man bears no malice or greed towards her.

"Yes." She answered.
