Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 598: Two Legacies

Yue Xuexia accepted two more legacies aside from the Moon Goddess. Well, the legacy from the Moon Goddess was hers by right. It cannot be considered a legacy but just returning to its owner. The Legacies of two Primordial Gods is different. This is a legacy that was meant to be owned by just a single person and this power will be his or her until she gets bored of living and finds a successor that will replace him. Like what the Shura God and the Deva God is doing right now.

It was unknown what reason they planned to do after giving away their legacies to Yue Xuexia. But it is obvious that they planned to enter reincarnation together and start afresh as mortals. Legacies of two Primordials are still too much for the current Moon Goddess and thus, the Shura and Deva are sealed on their legacy.

Yue Xuexia will only be able to use a certain amount of power at each level of the cultivation realm. Like right now, the Moon Goddess is at Peak Huashe Realm. After receiving their legacy it shouldn’t be a problem for her cultivation to increase as much as becoming a powerful True God or even a God King. The Moon Goddess had fallen into a state of enlightenment but her cultivation didn’t increase at all. The Shura God and the Deva God noticed this strangeness.

"Let me check her," Lord Shura had stretched a finger about to touch Yue Xuexia’s forehead for the second time but was stopped by Yue Xuehua who materialized at this very moment.

"Xue’er? No... You are not her. But the origin is the same. A soul fragment of her?" The Deva God said.

The two primordial gods were stunned upon seeing how this girl looked exactly like Yue Xuexia. But, after staring at her a few times more, they realized that this wasn’t that proud and confident girl they like.

Lord Shura’s smile disappeared as he looked down on Yue Xuehua. He had some guesses but that didn’t mean he didn’t want to know that truth. After pulling back the finger he was about to use to check on Yue Xuexia, he observed the soul in front of them and realized that this soul is most likely living in the same body as their chosen heir.

He said with an icy and commanding voice, "Explain. What is going with you two?"

Yue Xuehua, frightened by the gaze of the Primordial Gods, felt even more nervous. But she recalled Yue Xuexia’s words before. If you are not wrong, never be afraid. It took a while for this former Moon Empress to calm down. However, she didn’t avoid looking at the two Primordial Gods. She might be afraid but she doesn’t allow them to look down on her. After all, she hasn’t done anything wrong at all.

"I am Xia’s past soul fragment. On the day, she was supposed to ascend as a Celestial God, a problem had occurred during our tribulation. The main soul split into three. The main soul disappeared somewhere, the other soul fragment fell in the river of time and space. I remained in our body to protect her immortal body and lived as the Moon Empress who married the Immortal Sun Emperor," Yue Xuehua said.

The two primordial gods were stunned. There is actually one more person listening to this truth but was intentionally hindered by the two primordial gods and was not only prevented from moving, no one can see him at all. This person is the Immortal Sun Emperor, Shen Jueyang, who had just arrived at this time.

Yue Xuehua nods her head nervously.

Lord Deva thought for a moment and spoke up, "For an overprotective person like Xue’er there is only one situation where she will be pushed to pursue power."

"What kind of situation?" Lord Shura asked.

Lord Deva responded, "The death of her family."

"What!?" The former Moon Empress exclaimed in disbelief.

Yue Xuehua didn’t expect that it was this kind of situation. Even though she wanted to merge with Yue Xuehua to give her the power that was rightfully hers, if it’s in exchange of their parents then she isn’t willing as well. If there is one thing the three souls of Yue Xuexia share is that they were all overprotective of their families.

"This can’t happen. I must tell Xia about...hmpft!!" Yue Xuehua suddenly lost her voice when she started mentioning about telling Yue Xuexia about this information. It was even done that not even the two primordial gods were able to prevent it. She was also forced to return inside the body of the Moon Goddess.
