Mostly everyone in the village had witnessed Tan Bingyu transformed into a pale blue, almost feathered Ice phoenix. The sound of the phoenix cry resounds in the whole village and everyone stares at the source of it. The beautiful monstrous bird was flying in the sky destroying all falling fall and even saving the village. Normally one would be shocked or terrified by the scene of a human turning into a divine beast, but this bird is Tan Bingyu and she is currently saving their village.

To be scared of her because of the sudden change in appearance is simply rude. She is currently their savior, after all. They were watching as most of the hail disappeared the moment the ice phoenix made her move. All of the sudden a villager approached the village chief to report the progress on the defensive array they are working on.

The villager said, "Chief Xue, the defensive array can be activated now!"

The village chief nodded her head but didn’t order the activation of the array first and shouted at Tan Bingyu who was blocking the hailstorm falling onto them.

"Bing’er! Come back!!" Chief Xue shouted.

The almost white feathered heard her shout and made the last move to destroy the falling hail before diving down to the ground. The moment the village chief saw that she had entered the village, she issued the activation of the Defensive Array.

Village Chief Xue ordered, "Activate the array!!"

As the array was activated a thinker barrier protected the whole village and it blocked the falling hail to this place. This barrier is thicker and more powerful than the former formation the village uses to protect their home. Moreover, there is no need to keep it activated by them passing their qi to the formation core. At the center of this array, a high-grade spirit stone was placed. It started to glow and float above the center of the array as it got activated and used as the source of power for this defensive array.

Others looked at the almost white phoenix that landed near Xue Renxue and Tan Bingyu returned to her human form. She looks a bit pale as this transformation took most of her qi. She almost fell but was caught by her dao companion.

"Bing’er, how are you feeling?" Xue Renxue noticed that overused the qi state of his beloved and passed some of his qi to her and helped her stabilize her state.

Feng Bingrui had witnessed the scene of Tan Bingyu turning to her phoenix form. He was surprised that this child had transformed faster than Xue Renxue who had a purer Phoenix bloodline. Moreover, he had witnessed the cause of her transformation. "Yes, Village Chief!" The villagers collectively said as they left after taking one last glance with Tan Bingyu.
