Just based on this reaction alone, Mo Jue can gauge how angry these beasts are. However, because of this anger, the two beasts become even more powerful yet charge against Mo Jue carelessly. It was as if they wanted to die with him as long as they can kill Mo Jue.

However, Mo Jue and his hawk will not give them a chance to do that. Moreover, since he can fly, the two gorillas can hardly touch them. The only way for them to attack was to throw some things in their direction. Big rocks were picked and thrown towards them. A tree was uprooted and used as a javelin towards them and the gorilla even coordinated to throw its kind just to try dragging down Mo Jue from the sky. However, it was all useless. Not only was Mo Jue’s contract beast fast in dodging, they could even stay in the sky for as long as it wanted.

After a while, the surge of the beasts had lessened a lot until the beast stopped coming. Only when most of the beasts had retreated did Mo Jue and the elders commanded people to return to the city, bringing with them the injured and the dead.
