SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 1039 - 1036: TALKING ABOUT BABIES 3
It wasn’t easy being a woman, but if they want otherwise, that would be on them. Anyway, whoever takes on her position in the future, must be matriarchal. She didn’t care about anything else, but seeing a son-in-law at home will surely make her live comfortably and in peace.
And another thing, her eldest daughter shall carry her last name no matter what. Anyway, she talked to Gael about all that and the two with different thoughts continued with the conversation, with Diamond talking and Gael learning more.
After all, there weren’t many times that they could actually talk about such topics.
After a while of talking about Amaryllis, Gael finally shifted the topic as he raised a question, he has been curious about after learning about the eldest daughter. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
"Baby, have you thought about other seven children’s names?" although she has mentioned about thinking about one, she should have some ideas, right?
Surely, when that question was asked, Diamond sat on the couch facing Gael so that the two of them were looking at each other without craning their necks or titling heads.
She nodded smilingly as he held her hands in his, and playing with them casually, loving how soft they felt in his rough hands.
"I do have a lot of ideas," she excitedly said as she started sharing about them.
"You know, my parents named us after gems, and I have been a huge fan of gems ever since." Otherwise, she wouldn’t have named Garnet that way when she got her.
"I also love flowers as well. So, I plan to name the children after those two, and if I don’t find any names I like in that category, then perhaps pick some imposing names!" she added thoughtfully as she felt that it shouldn’t be such a bad idea.
Gael nodded in agreement to that. That made pretty sense and understanding women, at least from the few he has been associated with. Women were very detailed when it comes to certain things and aspects of their lives. Naming children was one of such aspects and they always wanted to find something meaningful.
He was actually glad that she has some ideas and they didn’t seem to be that bad, and he couldn’t help but be curious.
"What names do you have in mind for the boys?"
"When it comes to naming the sons after the flowers ..... um, let’s see," she muttered as she scratched her chin with the hand that Gael wasn’t playing with and the names started flowing like a river, making her eyes to brighten up.
Seeing her in such a state, he smiled as well, knowing that the names were about to come.
"There is Basil meaning kingly. It sounds very imposing. I like it. Then there is ....."
Cedar is also another beautiful name representing strength, wisdom and protection.
Oleander – associated with strength and endurance.
Aaron – names after a flowering shrub but she likes the meaning behind the name – high mountain or exalted. Doesn’t it sound mighty?
There were actually a lot of names in that category but not all names were suitable for her. Anyway, after listing these few names she moved on to the names inspired by gemstones.
Jasper, meaning bringer of treasure and also represents strength, vitality and endurance.
That name sounded good and could be suitable for the first-born son just looking at its meaning. She liked it.
Then there were names such as Onyx, and Alexandrite under the gemstone category.
Anyway, from those names, she should be able to find names for her baby boys. If not, then look for other special and unique names.
Moving on to the female names, there was so much for her to speak about. This category was the most interesting and didn’t give her a lot of headaches.
Under the flower category, there was so much. However, she decided to pick the special and unique ones that sounded a bit special.
While excluding Amaryllis from the list, there were the following; Azalea, Jasmine, Lily, Violet, Aster, and Camellia.
Under the gemstone list, there were the following names; Jade, Pearl, Opal, and Crystal.
Other names that would have make the cut if she hasn’t used would be Garnet and Gemma. And under the flower list, would be Dahlia and Ivy.
Anyway, those names seem quite plenty and enough to name her eight children, whichever gender she would be blessed with.
"Those are such beautiful names. I love them," he couldn’t help but truthfully say after listening to the list of names she mentioned.
She grinned beamingly at hearing his compliment and leaned forward, her sweet scent enveloping him in a way that was quite a torture and yet pleasurable.
"Hehe, then if I were to have a girl or a boy for you, what names will you pick?" she asked curiously, her gaze never leaving him and the man was stunned.
He wasn’t expecting such a question to be directed at him at all, and Diamond seems to pick on that. She chuckled as she adjusted her posture and laid on the couch, her head on top of his thighs and then looked at him waiting patiently for the answer without rushing him.
With his hand on her belly, caressing it rhythmically, Gael was lost in thought as he pondered over the names.
To be honest he was quite ambitious. Currently, and so far, he was the first boyfriend and he wasn’t seeing himself separating with her in the future. He was seeing a future in this messed up kind of lifestyle and he wasn’t bothered by it at all.
As the first boyfriend and partner, shouldn’t he be the father of the oldest daughter?
Not that he was aiming or eyeing Diamond’s assets and riches. He just wants to leave a mark and make her remember him all the time. And it seems that being the father of this eldest daughter was very crucial.
And for once, Gael felt that if he doesn’t reveal his ambitions, he might get surpassed and regret it one day.
With that in mind, his gaze was suddenly filled with strong determination as he looked at her, his hand on her belly pausing in its caressing attracting her attention.
Seeing her looking at him with those curious eyes that seemed eager for an answer, his lips curled upwards in a smile, and he boldly gave an answer.
And one that made Diamond’s eyes flicker with interest and satisfaction.
