Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 1494: Back to school (3)
It wasn't as if this was something that I wanted to cause as well.
Once all of the students had scattered, the Azure Sage didn't actually leave.
Instead, the Azure Sage took a step forward and reached into his sleeve to pull something out that he handed over to us.
I looked at him with one raised brow, but he still raised his hand forward as if he was handing this thing to me.
So I took the pieces of paper that he was holding out and looked at them.
When I looked closely, I found that there were schedules on these pieces of paper.
Looking closely, it seemed that these were our class schedules for not just the day, but several days.
A strange look appeared on my face when I took these pieces of paper from the Azure sage, but I was surprised to find that he was already gone after handing me these schedules.
Was it really the job of a sage to give new students schedules?
Then again, it wasn't as if we were normal students to begin with. We were just here temporarily to observe the magic academy and see what we could learn from this place.
Still, it was strange having the sage hand our schedules to us personally.
Since everything had been arranged, all that was left was to head to our classes.
However, when we looked at our schedules, we found that there was something that we didn't expect.
It was the fact that all of us had been split off into different classes.
There wasn't a single class that was shared among us, which meant that we would all be heading off in different directions.
But it wasn't because they wanted to split us apart.
Rather, it was all because they wanted to give us the best experience possible when it came to our time at this magic academy. That was why each of our schedules were different from each other.
After all, it wasn't as if we had the same interests to begin with.
Even among the sea witches, all of them had different things that they were interested in. That was why all of them had been arranged to head to different classes.
There was no ill intent behind it, rather it was because they were looking out for them. frёewebnoѵēl.com
But it didn't seem like they were happy about being split up from each other. It even seemed like they were worried about this.
Though that wasn't strange since they weren't used to being in human society.
In the end, their desire for knowledge was greater than their fear and the sea witches headed off to their individual classes.
However, before they left…
I could see that they were all looking at me one last time as if they wanted me to come with them.
Only I couldn't do that since I also had my own classes to go to.
Not to mention, I could already tell what they wanted.
It wasn't as if I couldn't see it, it was just that I had been pretending that I didn't notice anything since I didn't want them getting the wrong idea. I also didn't want to get myself in more trouble by accidentally giving them a signal when I didn't mean to.
That was why I was a bit glad that I had my own schedule.
Though the courses that were actually on this schedule made me reveal a bitter smile.
The courses that had been arranged for me were the most basic courses that I could attend.
These were courses that a freshman would attend, not something that someone that was visiting should sit through. Though I had to admit that these courses were actually the best ones for me.
After all, my knowledge of magic was close to nothing.
I had picked up a few bits of knowledge here and there, but it wasn't as if I was someone that was that skilled in magic.
In fact, it could be said that my basics were close to abysmal since I never had any kind of formal training before this.
So it really was a good idea for me to take this class.
Only the moment that I stepped into the classroom, there was another bitter smile that appeared on my face.
The people that were sitting in this classroom…
They were children.
I was in a class for children that were far younger than me.
But this was a class for the basics of magic and in the Sorcery Empire, that usually meant that it was a class for children;. After all, the magicians that studied in the Sorcery Empire were all very skilled with magic and went far beyond the level of the basics.
So it wasn't as if there was anyone that needed to learn this other than children.
The fact that there was this class in the magic academy in the first place showed that they cared very much about teaching the next generation.
Of course, the fact that I was the only adult in this room full of kids meant that I stuck out like a sore thumb. They all looked at me as if they were asking if I was lost or something.
But in the end, the teacher at the front of the room waved her hand at me and gestured for me to sit down.
It seemed that she had already been informed that I would be coming to her class, so she wasn't surprised to see me.
When the kids in the class saw this, they all looked at me with strange looks.
I just ignored all of them and took one of the free seats at the back of the class.
It was too embarrassing to sit in the front in this situation.
Once I sat down, it seemed that they lost interest in me as they went back to the lecture that they had been in the middle of.
The problem was…I didn't really understand much of the curriculum.
