She's Raymond's Woman-Chapter 69: Gunshot Sound

UNKNOWN LOCATION

Alex immediately rushed into Jennifer’s room.

"We are surrounded Jennifer, let’s find a way and leave here immediately!" He said with so much haste in his voice.

"What? What do you mean?" Jennifer asked.

"The monster has found us, his men..." The door immediately flipped open giving so much tension to the father and daughter.

"Freeze Alex!" It was Dickson pointing his gun at them.

"OMG!" Jennifer gasps as she raises her hands, including Alex.

"Please don’t shoot me and my daughter, I promise..."

"Shut the fuck up Alex!" Dickson snapped, making them shudder in fear.

"Now fucking move before I put my bullets in your damn heads" Dickson ordered.

"Okay okay...I Will..." Alex said as he looked at his daughter.

"Go..." He said, Jennifer With tears almost dripping down her eyes moved.

"Move" Dickson said authoritatively, Jennifer moved to walk pass him with her hands on her head.

"I can’t accept that!" With a swift move, Alex pulled out a gun from his back... before Dickson could react because he wasn’t expecting that...Alex pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger...the bullet released and hit Dickson at the right hand causing the gun he held to fall off.

"Let’s go Jennifer!" Alex said as the father and daughter dashed off immediately.

"Mother fuckers!!" Dickson cursed... actually he came alone because Raymond wanted him to handle it so secretly.

"Fuck!!" Dickson cursed again, he held his hand which was gushing out so much blood...and the pains he was feeling now is too much...this is the second time he has been shot in his entire life.

BACK TO THE WOLF’S CLAN^BAR^

Raymond and his few gang members sat around a table which was filled with so many beer bottles.

He was seated at the large table, with his head lowered blewing out invisible dirt from his nails...his legs were crossed.

Tension was filled in the air, Candy, Rose and Stone didn’t know what to do. This isn’t what they bargained or wished for.

Imagine the boss joining them to drink, he doesn’t drink,why then did he join them? To give them high tension right.

They just held their breaths with their heads up.

This is so absurd!!!

Raymond gently raised his head up as he gazed at them...he lazily placed his hand at his jaw supporting himself.

"What are you waiting for?" He mused out gently.

"Uhm..." Stone trailed off as he looked at the others.

"Cheers!" Rose took one bottle of beer, raising it up.

Stone and Candy exchanged glances as they both also took their own bottles...they all stylishly looked at Raymond.

The monster just nonchalantly lowered his head as he resumed blewing off invisible dirt from his nails.

What were they expecting before?

Just then his phone started ringing.

Taking it out from his pocket, he saw the caller ID and picked it up.

"What?" That was his exclamation... through his face Expression, you will know that he is kinda surprised and angered.

He gently stood up from his seat, taking a glance from Candy he left.

"What the fuck" Rose released the innermost breath she had been holding.

"This was alot of torture drinking at same table with the boss... like what the hell" Stone shook his head as he started drinking.

Rose blushed when their eyes met.

"So he isn’t gonna drink with us or what? Come to think of it, I haven’t seen the boss drink nor..."

" Smoke" Stone completed the words for Candy.

"But why? I usually heard that men like him smoke and drink alot" Candy asked looking at them so questionably as she too was drinking.

"His own smoking is Lollipop and Bubble gum...while his own drink is only Tequila and..."

"But why?" Candy cut in immediately, interrupting Rose.

"Why what?" Rose asked.

"Why is a full grown man like him into only Lollipops and Bubble gums?" Candy asked.

"Rumors had it..." Rose trailed off as she looked around.

"What?" Candy got closer to her.

"Gossip mood activated," Stone grinned.

"I’m all ears" Candy muttered with anticipation filled in her eyes.

Rose drew closer making Candy to gulp down... the suspense is killing her already.

"Rumors had it that the boss’s father..."

"Raymond’s father" Candy cut in, realizing what she had said, she immediately covered her mouth because of the shock expression on Rose’s face.

Stone snapped his eyes at her.

"I’m sorry" Candy shined her teeth.

Stone cleared his throat and continued drinking.

Rose shook her head.

"Well Boss’s father died because of heart disease caused by too much alcohol, cigarettes and hard drugs" Rose finally released the bomb making Candy to cover her mouth in shock.

"Wonders" She exclaimed...stone shook his head and cut in saying.

"Boss doesn’t wanna follow his father’s step, that’s why he is into lollipops and bubble gum instead of hard drugs, drinks and ci..." Before he can finish his words a loud gun shot was heard interrupting him.

He and Rose immediately pulled out their guns standing up.

"Holy Molly!" Candy gasps in so much fear and panic.

What’s going on?

Stone and Rose automatically turned towards Candy, making her gulp because of the guns they both held. She was so shocked and surprised when they both pulled out those guns...so they usually go around with guns?

What’s she even thinking? They are both gangsters. Wait, does it mean that Rose has killed someone before?

"Candy" Rose immediately called her pulling her off her trance.

"Don’t leave here,we will go out and check what’s going on, if the coast is clear we will come back and alert you okay" Stone said with a serious expression which meant business.

"Don’t leave here" Rose sternly warned.

"I won’t" Candy nodded...she hasn’t for once seen these two this serious.

Stone and Rose exchanged unknown glances; they both nodded their heads and discreetly left.

Candy gasps for air as she makes it to sit...just then her mind flew to the time Raymond left...with his face Expression something actually happened. What if something bad might have happened to him?

"No, No way" Candy immediately rebuffed the thoughts on her head as she took a bottle of beer drinking it to calm her nerves.

ALONG A HALLWAY-

"Hi Diana" Risky approached Diana with a smile on his face. Even though she rejected him he can’t stop loving her.

"What do you want?" Diana asked so coldly.

"Well I..." Risky trailed off scratching the back of his head.

"You’re wasting my fucking time!" Diana snapped jolting Risky. He blinked gulping down.

"I just wanna tell you that I will never give up on you, this heart will keep beating for you Diana" He said rubbing his chest.

She chuckled up mockingly as she scanned him from head to toe.

"You..." Before she could complete her words, a loud gunshot was heard interrupting them.

They both exchanged quick glances as they pulled out their various guns walking away... with their eyes darting forth and back.

Candy is now standing up while walking around, biting on her lips nervously. Her eyes fled to the door each time.

It’s been up to an hour since Stone and Rose left but they aren’t back already.

What’s happening out there? Another gunshot was heard bringing her up to her feet and now she can’t get herself to relax unless she knows what was going on.

"No I can’t wait any longer, what if something really huge had happened?" She snapped her eyes towards the door walking towards it immediately.

She had to walk two more steps to get to it when the door immediately pulled open startling her.

"Candy" Rose and Stone were the ones who entered making her to sigh in relief.

"Don’t tell me you wanted to leave here?" Stone asked, Candy ignored him...she walked towards Rose and hugged her up immediately.

"What happened? I was so nervous and scared, what happened?" She asked and disengaged from the hug.

Rose looked at Stone, giving him a sign of ’go ahead and tell her’

"Well... Dickson went on a mission and he got shot" Stone announced.

"What!" Candy covered her mouth in shock.

"Boss found out about it... angrily he released two bullets gunshot in the air" Rose added.

Candy couldn’t believe her ears, she was already sweating from inside of it.

"Wait, Dickson got shot? Like he is dead?" She asked, waiting patiently for the unknown. Will she be able to take in the News?

The little time she had known Dickson, she had gotten used to him, she told him a lot of things and even cried in his arms. If he is actually dead then...

"No he is alive" Rose caught in interrupting her thoughts.

"Oh my goodness" She sighed out in relief.

"Boss is going after the people that shot him...one of our enemies I guess...so we are meant to back him up" Stone said.

"Yes Candy we will be back...boss won’t stop until he pulls down those peeps that shot his handyman" Rose said.

"You guys should be careful out there okay" Candy said with Sad expression on her face as she gaze at them on the face one after the other.

What if she losses one of them then she won’t be able to take it. How she wished that she is strong and trained like them, she would have joined them.

"Sure we will, leave here and go back to your room okay" Stone said.

"Sure buddy" Candy nodded.

Stone and Rose exchanged glances.

"Let’s go" They both held hands surprising Candy.

What the hell? She stared at their hands not believing her eyes.

They instantly paused as they both gazed down at their intertwined hands...they looked at each other as they immediately disengaged their hands.

What were they thinking?

"Sorry" They both muttered at same time and left.

A grin played on Candy’s face as she too left.
