Chapter 293: Chapter 293: You used three today, let’s make a discount, two and a half.

Besides, when she told him to figure it out himself, she was essentially telling him to define the boundaries of "going too far."

That gave Fu Shihan quite a broad range to work with.

"Alright, I won’t do anything over the line," he agreed, following her lead. "Definitely not."

He agreed so readily that Su Wanxin started to worry. But the words were already out, and she couldn’t take them back, so she had to firm up the arrangement.

Fu Shihan would sleep over at Su Wanxin’s place twice a week, on whichever two days he chose.

Holding the person in his arms contentedly, Fu Shihan had his wish fulfilled, yet he didn’t forget to ask her again,

"What if you do something over the line to me?"

He nibbled on Su Wanxin’s ear as if recalling a past event. His kisses trailed downward, leaving marks on her neck.

"When have I ever done anything over the line?" Su Wan dodged the question in return, which prompted a snort of laughter from Shihan.

"I still have those three coins you gave me," he said.

Su Wanxin faltered for a moment before quickly realizing what he was referring to.

That first time... the two of them.

Fu Shihan had snuck over to knock on her door in the middle of the night, then she, half-asleep, ended up tangled in bed with him.

Su Wanxin had been taken a few times, sore all over, and when he was still planning to take advantage, she flared up in anger.

She told Fu Shihan to leave before anyone else in her family discovered them come daylight.

Fu Shihan mocked her for being heartless, complaining she’d ruined his innocence without taking responsibility. Su Wanxin retorted that it was a loss for her, and if he really wanted to settle the score, she would reimburse him for the condoms.

She even asked if the ones he brought were from a vending machine outside, the kind that a one-yuan coin could buy. Then she took three coins from her bedside table and handed them to him, saying—

"You used three today, let’s call it a discount, two and a half yuan."

Fu Shihan had then thought about just knocking her out on the bed. But in the end, he took the two and a half yuan she offered and she kicked him out of her room.

He clearly remembered it was 3:50 am when he left.

Recalling the past, Fu Shihan reminded her near her ear that she had indeed crossed a line back then. Su Wanxin pressed her lips together in a smile, keeping silent. She let him carry on for quite a while before kissing the corner of his mouth to calm him down.

She knew he always held grudges, but she hadn’t expected him to remember everything in such detail.

Fu Shihan flirted with her, getting her to praise him, before he rose to take a shower. Then, he came back to cuddle her to sleep.

Su Wanxin fell asleep in his arms fairly quickly, but as dawn approached, she was startled awake by a nightmare.

That urn and the photograph, they just wouldn’t leave her mind.

Feeling anxious, she snuggled closer into Fu Shihan’s embrace. He seemed to sense her fear and, in his drowsy state, pulled her tighter, kissing her forehead and uttering "Don’t be afraid" in a husky voice.

He patted her back until her fear dissipated and she fell asleep again.

This time, she slept until 7:30 am, awoken by her internal body clock.

After breakfast, Su Wanxin went to work. Since Fu Shihan had discussed Kairun and ST with her the night before, she paid close attention to these two companies’ activities after finishing her work tasks.

Thinking about being well-prepared to keep pace with Fu Shihan when he made his move, so as not to slow him down.

Meanwhile, the Ding and the Shen families were completely unaware of the crisis that was about to hit them.
