Sexy Isekai: One Piece Most Wanted-Chapter 44: - : Fire in the Sky, Ash in the Sea
Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Fire in the Sky, Ash in the Sea
Smoke curled across the sky like burnt silk. The Beast Pirates' ship groaned beneath the weight of crashing debris. Massive stone boulders—remnants of Shiki's floating island—rained down like wrathful meteors, splintering mast and hull alike.
But King did not fall.
From the plummeting column of smoke, just meters above the waves, a searing blast of fire erupted.
FWOOOOOM!!
Wings spread wide—dark, sharp as blades—King rocketed back into the sky, eyes ablaze with fury, embers trailing from his limbs. His sword was gone, torn from him during the impact. But now, as he rose through the haze, something ancient stirred in his blood.

Something primal.
"You're going to regret that," he muttered, voice low and heavy.
Golden Lion Shiki, hovering high with his arms outstretched, cackled.
"Well now! The firebird's still got his wings. Maybe Kaido really did dig up something special!"
King didn't respond.
Instead, his body surged with fire.
Black flames coiled around his frame like armor, burning hotter than before. His limbs lengthened, claws extended. The obsidian plates of his battle suit twisted with his body—shifting, expanding, becoming jagged. His long black hair whipped upward in the wake of the transformation.
A shriek split the sky. Not human. Not beast. Something between.
In an explosion of heat, King revealed his true form—his Zoan hybrid state—for the first time since his transmigration.
Six feet became ten. His face elongated into a razor-beaked mask of fury. His wings now blazed fully, the tips molten. His talons could slice steel with a twitch.
Shiki grinned—until the figure in the sky blurred and vanished.
"Wha—?!"
SLASH!
King reappeared behind him in the same instant, his beak having torn into Shiki's side in a blur.
Blood sprayed in midair.
"AGHHH!!"
SLASH-SLASH-SLASH!!
Another flash—this time across the chest. Then a streak along Shiki's thigh. Then his shoulder. Then his side again.
Each wound precise, shallow but cruelly positioned, meant to draw blood but not end him quickly.
Golden Lion Shiki flailed, trying to slash back with his sabers, but King moved too fast. He wasn't just flying—he was weaving through the sky like a predator. Every movement was calculated rage, honed from a lifetime of pain and recent purpose.
"You don't get to touch my people," King growled.
Blood poured from Shiki now, streaming down his side and limbs, catching the sunlight in crimson ribbons.
Shiki faltered.
King reverted mid-air, returning to his armored humanoid form. He seized the older pirate by the throat, choking off his next cackle.
"You're a relic. You don't belong in this new era."
From a compartment in his armor, King withdrew the metallic vials he had prepared.
One by one, he filled them with Shiki's blood.
The golden-haired pirate snarled. "You're harvesting me like some damned experiment?!"
"Not you. Your genes."
With a snarl, King tossed Shiki into the sky like trash.
But Shiki, bloodied and breathless, wasn't done. Desperation twisted his features. Rage lit his eyes.
"If I'm going down," he hissed, "so are your damn minions."
He raised his hand—and the largest chunk of the shattered island behind him lurched and spun in mid-air.
The mass of earth—at least three times the size of their ship—hurtled downward, right toward the crippled vessel and its panicking crew.
"No!" Shinobu screamed from the crow's nest, clutching the mast as flames crept up from the lower deck.
Below, the Beast Pirates screamed and scrambled. Some jumped into the sea. Others prayed. A few tried, futilely, to push cannons to fire up at the falling mountain.
"HELP US!!" one cried. "KING!!! SAVE US!!"
King's eyes flicked toward them—but only briefly.
He knew exactly who they were.
Men who had raped Wano's villagers during Kaido's raids. Murderers who boasted of crushing children beneath their boots. Smugglers who tortured for fun, not profit. He'd kept track. They'd laughed too loud. Smirked too often. Too easily forgotten the cries of Wano's people.
He had planned to deal with them before returning home.
This saved him the trouble.
CRASHHHHHH!!!
The island smashed into the ship.
Wood exploded. Fire flared. Screams became silence.
Only the flames remained.
But one voice still called out—higher than the others.
"KING!"
Shinobu.
King moved like a bullet.
He shot forward, wings splitting the wind. In a flash, he was above the collapsing crow's nest, and his arm stretched out.
WHUMP!
He caught Shinobu's small form just as the mast gave way beneath her.
Together, they vanished into the sky in a trail of fire and ash.
Below, the ship was gone.
Only a smoldering scar on the sea's surface remained.
Shinobu clutched his armor, her face pale and wet with tears. "You—" she gasped. "You let them die."
King didn't look at her.
"I let justice be done."
She swallowed hard but said nothing more.
In the distance, the faint outline of Shiki tried to limp away through the air, his body flickering from blood loss and overexertion. His laughter was weak now—like a dying flame flickering in the wind.
But King's fury was not spent.
Not yet.
With Shinobu held tightly under one arm, he turned his gaze forward.
His wings surged.
He shot toward Shiki like a hawk on the hunt.
