Chapter 110: Chapter 110: You Are Now the Young Madam of the Walyon Family!

Summer Sutton stared at the photo absentmindedly for a long time, her pale fingers gripping the phone tightly.

Everything that belonged to her, she would definitely reclaim one day!

When Adrian Walyon came in, she was still staring at her phone in a trance.

Leisurely approaching her, he grabbed her phone, his fingertips flicking as he casually browsed through her album.

Summer Sutton’s album was filled with photos of herself and her family, including her grandfather and father, but there were none of her mother.

Adrian Walyon paused for a moment, sighing, "Never had a mom from childhood till now?"

Summer Sutton hung her head low, not answering him.

"Where’s your mother?" Adrian turned to look at her, asking casually.

Summer Sutton was momentarily stunned, a mocking smile tugging at her lips, "She probably left dad and me behind!"

In truth, she didn’t know exactly what happened; she just knew she had never seen her mother since she had memories, and nobody at home ever told her anything about her mother. Her grandfather and father even forbade her from bringing it up.

The word "mother" was unfamiliar to Summer Sutton.

Adrian seemed somewhat surprised, staring deeply at her for a while. Coming to his senses, he returned the phone to her, "I’m done, we can head back."

Summer Sutton tidied up the camera and followed him out of the office.

Once back, they had a simple dinner together. Adrian sat on the sofa reading a newspaper, while Summer sat beside him, opening her notebook and focusing on typing her resume.

"Adrian, I want to take a part-time job," she said after preparing her resume.

"Part-time what? You have a home and someone to provide for you, are you so bored that you can’t find anything to do?" Adrian didn’t even raise his head, lightly mocking.

"It’s not the same!" Summer Sutton argued for herself, "A part-time job enriches my experience. I earn my own money, and I can spend it as I wish, without any guilt!"

Adrian put down the newspaper, slowly lifting his face.

"Do you need me to remind you of your current identity, Miss Sutton?" He narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing her for a while, his tone cold, "The Walyon Family isn’t lacking your share of food!"

She was his wife, regardless of the reasons they married, would he let her go out to toil for her own life?

How could the Young Madam of the Walyon need to find a small company and greet people with a smile every day?

Summer Sutton didn’t think so.

Very few people even knew she belonged to the Walyons. Besides, the jobs she sought were all legitimate; she was living honestly by making money with her own hands, so what was wrong with that?

"You can’t be so overbearing; you can’t control me too much!" She raised her face, continuing to fight for herself.

"What if I insist on controlling you?" Adrian chuckled coldly.

When he laughed, there was always an inherent chill; Summer Sutton suddenly felt a chill running down her spine.

Summer Sutton couldn’t stand up to him; she instinctively backed away. She could only reason with him, "I just don’t want to depend on others for everything. My school courses aren’t many, and I have plenty of time."

"Plenty of time, huh?" Adrian echoed her last words, his body suddenly leaning towards her.

Summer Sutton felt flustered under his gaze, instinctively wanting to retreat, but Adrian pressed against her waist, stopping her from moving.

He lifted her waist, forcing her to face him, his handsome face close to her ear, his voice soft, "Since you have so much time, how about we go back to our room and thoroughly explore how to make our married life more fulfilling?"

Summer Sutton’s eyes widened, staring at him in shock, unable to believe what she had just heard.
