Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 98: "Who isn’t a pervert at our age?..."

Luo Shih was wise enough to know that the matter wouldn’t end there. Now that they had revealed their ugly heads it was best to be cautious.

It was because of this that she instructed Luo Muchen to never go anywhere alone. Luo Muchen didn’t give her trouble. He agreed with whatever she planned. For the next three months, he was being closely followed all except when he was in school.

This strict procedure continued even on the day of the year-end trip. All two hundred students that were heading across the border to a holiday island had no idea that some of the passengers travelling with them weren’t tourists at all.

Luo Muchen was a little nervous on this trip and he had every right to be. That’s because the patriarch of the Lei family was waiting for this very moment. He wanted the target isolated without hope of getting back up.

He wanted to cripple Luo Shih and to do that they had to get their hands on Luo Muchen. He was after all her Achilles heel.

Qie Xieling was especially excited about this trip and it was very apparent. That’s because, for the first time, he was going to be on a trip without his parents monitoring him.

Bo Ailun on the other hand was excited for a whole different reason. He was excited that he would get to see girls in swimsuits.

When the seat belt sign was switched off, Bo Ailun couldn’t wait to chat with his best friend. Kneeling on the seat with his head looking back he said, "Lin Lin, did you hear that Su Su from year twelve is going to wear a two-piece."

Qie Xieling took off his wireless earphones while laughing, "You are such a pervert. Where did you even hear that from."

Bo Ailun tapped the cell phone that was in aeroplane mode and showed him the messages in the year ten group. "Who isn’t a pervert at our age? It’s a cupcake two-piece," he explained excitedly and Qie Xieling laughed.

"It must be interesting to see," he said and the person beside him clasped the corner pages of his textbook till his nail turned white.

He unclenched his jaw and said, "Really?" the agitation in his voice was very hard to conceal.

Qie Xieling laughed jokingly while peeling the wrapper of the chocolate bar in front of him. "You misunderstand, I am interested to see other people being perverts. I think it’s fun to watch. I assure you that someone is going to fight someone for her," said Qie Xieling looking more like he was interested in the tea than the view.

Luo Muchen’s tense nerves relaxed a little but he was still a little worried. This trip made him feel a whole different kind of crisis.

He wasn’t sure how Qie Xieling would react to seeing half-naked girls on the beach. He knew most of the girls in their class were a little unwilling to show a lot more skin than usual but some seniors were going full-on rebellious and for some teenage boys this was the highlight of the year.

Luo Muchen wasn’t really sure whether his secret crush was in the ’some teenage boys’ category.

While he wandered off to who knows where a candy bar was put in his mouth. When he looked up he met Qie Xieling’s smiling eyes.

"Mmm, take a bite while I am still being generous," said Qie Xieling while wiping the melted chocolate at the corner of his lips.

Luo Muchen took a small bite of the already-bitten candy bar holding that gaze. The world around him seemed to fade away as he gazed at Qie Xieling’s glossy lips with a smear of chocolate.

The longer his gaze lingered the greater the urge to kiss Qie Xieling’s lips and lick that chocolate. He couldn’t help but wonder if it would taste as sweet as it looked.

His thought was somewhat innocent and pure. Well, that is until he saw the tip of that pink tongue stretch out and lick the bottom lip. Luo Muchen’s heart lurched as an inexplicable thought crossed his mind. He suddenly had the urge to have that tongue lick the tip of his member making his head hot. A pink blush stained the base of his ears as he looked away.

Bo Ailun also wanted a candy bar so he stretched out his hand while begging Qie Xieling for a bite. Luo Muchen impulsively leaned forward and bit the candy bar out of Qie Xieling’s hand.

Qie Xieling licked the tip of his fingers while glowering at him. "Muchen, I said a bite. Not the entire thing," he said but the tone of his voice made it difficult to take him seriously.

Luo Muchen didn’t even want the entire candy bar but he didn’t want Qie Xieling to feed others. Qie Xieling pulled out another candy bar and explained,

"Why are you sulking? I was going to give you another one of your own. I scammed my pa into buying me a lot of snacks just for you guys. Aren’t I awesome?"

Bo Ailun caught the candy bar tossed at him and tore the wrapper while praising him, "Lin-ge is awesome indeed." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Lee Ya heard their conversation so she stretched out her hand in between the seats and said, "Me too gege. I want a snack too please."

Qie Xieling looked at those slender fingers with bright peach nail polish at the gap of their seat and said, "Are you sure you want one? I heard you two complaining about your waist earlier. I don’t want you to blame me later," he said not being rude or anything.

The day before, Lee Ya even took out a tape measure and was about to ask him to measure her waist. Such an intimate thing, if he had done it then the rumours that have been spreading around would only gain more traction.

Lee Ya wasn’t going to give up easily. She touched Qie Xieling’s arm and begged softly her voice cute. Qie Xieling couldn’t stand it anymore so he took out a candy bar to give her but it was confiscated by Luo Muchen.

"It’s not good for girls to get a muffin top and then cry about it to everyone. Ask the hostess for an apple or something," he said and this was one of the few times he had actually said something to her. They didn’t look like half-siblings, neither did they treat each other like half-siblings but they were most certainly acting like half-siblings right now.

"Luo Muchen you are so-," she said about to curse him to the high heavens when Qie Xieling put a granola bar in her hand.

"Here, this is healthier right? Eat that," he said and peace was immediately restored. The storm had calmed but the gloomy clouds were still very much there.
