Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 86: "Class president, are you coming?"

"I will ask my dad first. Just let me call him," replied Qie Xieling while taking back his hand from Lee Ya.

Lee Ya tried to reach out for his hand again but Qie Xieling had already stepped away while unlocking his cell phone.

Wen Qinxi heard the sound of his cell phone ringing but his hands were covered in flour so he tapped Qie Ranzhe’s foot with the tip of his slippers.

Qie Ranzhe who was standing by the wine fridge taking out a bottle of white wine, walked over to the counter and swiped up the green button before pressing the loudspeaker.

"Dad," said a milky voice as sticky as candy and the two looked at each other fully aware of what that voice meant.

Qie Ranzhe stood behind Wen Qinxi and hugged him from behind while asking, "What do you want this time? Acting cute won’t help you," before kissing and sniffing the back of Wen Qinxi’s neck.

Qie Xieling suddenly froze upon hearing his father’s voice. When he wanted something he would always ask his dad because he was easy to deal with. All he had to do was act coquettish and voilà, he gets what he wants. But his father apart from giving out money like he owned a money printer, was very strict with him.

"I want to go with my friends to karaoke. May I... please," asked Qie Xieling and Wen Qinxi continued to knead the dough in the bowl while asking,

"Where exactly?"

Qie Xieling mentioned the place Lee Ya said and when his parents remained silent for a moment he continued to say, "It’s her family’s place. It’s top tier and clean."

Wen Qinxi didn’t see anything wrong with it so he opened his mouth to give him a curfew when Qie Ranzhe hastily put the call on hold.

"Who is he going with? If that Luo kid is going then forget it. I will go pick him up right now," he said turning to leave like he was really serious.

Wen Qinxi still couldn’t understand why Qie Ranzhe was so resistant to the idea of the boys being friends. It’s not like they were going to different schools and Qie Xieling could avoid him.

"Okay, if you leave that door then don’t come back home. You can go sleep at your mother’s," said Wen Qinxi playing his husband like a fiddle. "I will just spend time alone with that new vibrator. It’s such a shame. I thought tonight we can try it out but since you are more concerned about who is going where I will just play by myself."

Qie Ranzhe: "..."

Wen Qinxi chuckled softly while pointing at the cell phone. Qie Xieling who had been left on hold for a while brightened when he heard the good news.

"You can go but be back by eleven pm. Call the driver to pick you up, okay?" said Wen Qinxi and Qie Xieling was really happy. He said some flattering words and hung up the call. Once the call hung up Wen Qinxi suddenly felt his chrysanthemum tighten. It seemed he couldn’t guarantee the safety of his ass today. Like a missile locked on its target, the bulge on Qie Ranzhe’s pants brushed against his backside demanding attention.

"You truly can’t help yourself, can you?" said Wen Qinxi and Qie Ranzhe lightly bit his earlobe before whispering into his ear.

"How can I when an aphrodisiac is right in front of me?" That was indeed a fair point.

Qie Xieling turned to Lee Ya and said, "They said I can go."

Lee Ya was so happy that she almost jumped on him. The only thing that stopped her was his next words, "Only, if the others are going. I don’t know your friends too well." Qie Xieling wanted time to talk to her later so he agreed to go but he wouldn’t go alone. He needed his support system to back him up.

"Class president, are you coming?" asked Qie Xieling and Luo Muchen who was silently watching on the side with a gloomy expression nodded his head.

Lee Ya wanted to blurt out that he wasn’t invited but she shut her mouth having realised that they came as a package. If you invite one you have to invite both.

The karaoke place was a little further from the amusement park so Lee Ya called her driver and soon a minivan was parked in front of the amusement park.

Luo Muchen was very uncomfortable and would rather take Qie Xieling in his car but he hadn’t gotten his driving license yet and his driver wasn’t anywhere nearby the amusement park. He could only bear it in silence. His only comfort was that Qie Xieling pulled him to sit next to him leaving Lee Ya to sit in front with Ming Tao whom she hadn’t gotten rid of yet.

The three boys sat at the back and because the two girls didn’t like Lee Ya at all they sat in the middle seat. Lee Ya was a little annoyed. She took out her cell phone and typed a message to her mother.

Mrs Lee glanced at her cell phone screen her expression as dark as the bottom of a charcoal pot. She ignored her daughter’s message before turning back to her father.

"But dad, she is looking for Bigan again? Do you want your daughter to wear a green hat? I want that homewrecker gone," she said pouting like a little girl when she was an auntie in her early forties already.

The old man looked distressed as he said to her, "Ah-Lei, dad knows you love that scum but Luo Shih is not easy to deal with. Old man Luo left us in a mess when you got married. Dealing with her is like stepping into a landmine field with no knowledge of where they are buried. I will continue suppressing Bigan for you," but she wasn’t satisfied. If her father wouldn’t deal with her then she would take matters into her own hands.
