Chapter 84: Love ride hehehehe

With their gazes locked together, Luo Muchen ate it and Ah Cy couldn’t help but choke on her iced green tea. Wei Qi patted her back while thanking whichever entity made this possible.

AN: You are welcome.

Qie Xieling wasn’t so mad anymore when he heard Luo Muchen’s deep voice saying, "It’s sweeter than I thought."

Lee Ya couldn’t help but complain. "Why can he take a bite and I can’t?"

Qie Xieling who was rubbing his itchy ear replied casually, "Because he bought it." In other words, dad bought it so dad gets dad tax.

Lee Ya glared at Ming Tao like she wasn’t doing her job. Ming Tao instantly got the hint and called out, "Mu-ge, don’t l look cute today."

Bo Ailun couldn’t help but retort, "Why is she still here?"

Luo Muchen ignored her clearly expressing his attitude. Lee Ya who had prepared meticulously for this date which wasn’t exactly a date twirled while asking, "How about me Lin Lin? What do you think?"

Qie Xieling didn’t want to be rude so he replied, "You look good. Did you do something with your hair?"

Forgive Qie Xieling for not knowing anything about girls’ hair. He honestly didn’t pay attention to himself. If it wasn’t because of his parents he would have had the same haircut each time he went to the barbershop.

His outfits were chosen by his dad. If it was left to him he would wear black t-shirts with anime and superhero graphic prints all year around.

Lee Ya was on cloud nine after that. Who wouldn’t after the person they liked appreciated how good they look?

Unfortunately for her, Wei Qi just had to ruin it. She meant it when she said she wasn’t going to let Lee Ya have peace. She stood up and asked, "How about me?"

Ah Cy followed too and like models on a runaway they walked back and forth showing off their outfits.

Bo Ailun laughed seeing how exaggerated their movements were. "What do you think this is? A beauty pageant?" he said but he soon realised it was better if he kept his mouth shut.

The two hounded him like a pair of rabid dogs. While Bo Ailun was learning the special lesson to not offend two women, Luo Muchen was trying to fish a compliment from Qie Xieling.

Luo Muchen tossed the paper plate in the recycling bin while asking, "How about me? How do I look?"

Qie Xieling scratched his head wondering why everybody was obsessed with this. If you look in the mirror and are satisfied with what you are seeing then what is the point of asking others?

"I like your t-shirt," said Qie Xieling tugging on the hem. "It looks good," he continued to say and from his expression, one could tell he was being more genuine, unlike the perfunctory answer he gave to Lee Ya.

"Then I will get you one like this," said Luo Muchen and Qie Xieling dismissed him thinking he was joking.

Luo Muchen wasn’t joking at all. He bought a couple more t-shirts similar to his that very night so they could match their clothes like other couples.

Forgive him for being a novice. He didn’t know his future in-laws don’t do couple’s outfits but wear each other’s clothes. Sure Wen Qinxi was a bit short when compared to Qie Ranzhe but when he wore his husband’s clothes it looked like a whole different style but everybody would recognise that that’s Qie Ranzhe’s.

"Do I look handsome?" asked Luo Muchen and Qie Xieling didn’t hesitate.

He immediately answered, "You look so handsome that girls would trip at your sight. You look great in everything you wear."

If only Qie Xieling was like this to the fairer sex he would be off the market a long time ago. Luo Muchen had reached his limit. That mouth was so sweet that he couldn’t help but want to kiss it.

He just glanced at those lips that looked moist and bright red like two rose petals and swallowed subconsciously.

"Do you want to go on a slow ride first?" he asked and Qie Xieling agreed.

He hopped up to his feet and pulled Luo Muchen while calling Bo Ailun. "BoBo, let’s go ride the teacup ride. It should be slow enough," he said before leading the way.

Bo Ailun had no time to protest. He could only follow behind them. This marked the beginning of the most memorable experience they had ever had and no it wasn’t because of the monstrous rollercoaster that almost made Qie Xieling puke.

It was because of the disco pang pang and what happened on it. For those who didn’t know what it is. It is a large circular ride that spins and bounces up and down. When Ming Tao suggested it she thought that she could sit next to Luo Muchen and let the ride do the rest. If any accidents happen then it could be blamed on the ride.

Well, that was the plan but the two boys formed a fortress sitting on either side of Luo Muchen. Qie Xieling had no idea what this ride was all about but at the end of it he would never do it again nor would he casually suggest it to others.

Luo Muchen pulled Qie Xieling’s hand and placed it on the railing while saying, "Hold on tight to the rail. You saw what happened to the others before us."

Qie Xieling did hold on but in his mind, he was thinking it couldn’t be that bad. "So we don’t get seat belts or anything like that?" he asked and Lee Ya who could see how she could use this to her advantage answered,

"No. Just hold on tight."

Qie Xieling who had gone through a soul-snatching rollercoaster ride relaxed while holding on to the rail.

When it started spinning Qie Xieling was all hyped up but when it started bouncing his fingers that were loosely holding onto the rail instantly tightened. He had finally realised that this was no joke.

Qie Xieling could hear the host’s annoying voice telling him to take care of the girl approaching him and how this could be love at first sight while the ride bounced and tilted like it was going to give him whiplash.

In that moment all he could think about was getting away as fast as possible. If Lee Ya hugged him then wouldn’t that be encouraging her to think she had a chance?
