Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 60: ...Is that how you talk at home?"
"That’s enough. Everybody to the principal’s office... now!" he yelled before grabbing the back collar of Min Jian’s sports uniform.
Qie Xieling fixedly glared at Min Jian with a sneer on his face while being dragged to the principal office by Luo Muchen.
Luo Muchen said something to him but Qie Xieling couldn’t hear it. His ears were ringing his entire body numb. He didn’t even realise when Bo Ailun came over with a bottle of water and neither could he remember when he drank it. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
When he finally calmed down they were sitting outside the principal’s office and from the closed door one could hear the thunderous roar of the middle-aged man yelling at Min Jian and his cronies.
Qie Xieling raked his trembling fingers through his hair while sniffling. Luo Muchen turned to look at him and saw that his neck and ears were stained pink and at the corner of his eyes was still a flush of red.
He found himself mesmerised to the point that he envisioned himself touching the back of Qie Xieling’s neck and pulling him closer before kissing his red lips. His chest felt like it was on the verge of exploding recalling how this person rushed in to save him even though he didn’t need any saving.
Luo Muchen bit his lower lip subtly before hesitantly reaching his hand to touch Qie Xieling’s. Qie Xieling just felt something warm touching his cold hands and he casually glanced down before looking at Luo Muchen.
Qie Xieling raised his hand and Luo Muchen’s eyes dimmed thinking he had been rejected but two seconds later Qie Xieling touched his shoulder while looking him up and down.
"Where are you hurt?" he asked his voice slightly hoarse.
Luo Muchen wasn’t hurt at all when compared to the four boys. In fact, he only had a slight bruise on his abdomen from a moment of carelessness while playing basketball earlier. The bruise wasn’t even from this fight but how could he not take the opportunity to act pitiful?
"Here," he said with a slight frown on his face and Qie Xieling didn’t disappoint. He pulled up Luo Muchen’s sports uniform and took a look.
Before he could take a closer look the principal’s door opened and the five boys stepped out. Teacher Zhu stood between the two groups to avoid further conflict before guiding Luo Muchen into the principal’s office.
Qie Xieling was left sitting a few seats from Min Jian but he didn’t spare them a glance. Teacher Zhu sat between them looking like a nightclub bouncer ready to put down anyone who starts something.
Min Jian groaned in pain as he sat down. It was only after the adrenaline had worn off that he realised how much excruciating pain he was in.
He turned to teacher Zhu and said, "Sir, can I go to the nurse’s office? I think Luo Muchen broke my rib."
Teacher Zhu snorted coldly before saying, "You should have thought about that before you attacked him indiscriminately."
Qie Xieling chuckled lightly and teacher Zhu’s anger was suddenly directed at him. "What are you laughing at? Back in the day, I would have washed your mouth with soap for swearing so much. Is that how you talk at home?" he reprimanded just as Wen Qinxi walked into the office.
Wen Qinxi: "..."
Qie Ranzhe’s brow arched hearing this. Truthfully, ever since Qie Xieling turned fifteen, Wen Qinxi restrained himself less. When they were playing games together his husband and son would be dropping f-bombs like it was a job they get paid for.
"Actually we," said Qie Xieling only for him to shut his mouth when he saw his dad staring at him with a look that seemed to say ’don’t you fucking say it’.
While Wen Qinxi was apologising to the teacher for the vulgarities coming from Qie Xieling’s mouth the other parents showed up and the tranquil atmosphere instantly turned chaotic.
One would think adults would be more reasonable than teenagers but it was proving not the case. Min Jian’s mother was especially vocal yelling that her son had never hurt a damn fly in his entire life so why would he gather a group of four boys and gang up on a junior?
She suddenly found fault in Luo Muchen saying he must have started it because he was raised with no father. With such a mother who could get him out of anything, how could he not bully innocent people? Now teacher Zhu could understand where Min Jian’s poisonous tongue came from. His mother was a shrew disguised as a high-class lady.
Wen Qinxi couldn’t stand hearing such abuse being directed at a child so he said, "Auntie, let’s be civil. You can’t say such things behind someone’s back."
Min Jian’s mother couldn’t restrain herself. She immediately angrily pointed at him and said, "Was I talking to you you damn gay? Was I talking...," but before she could finish talking Qie Ranzhe was already on his feet looking like he was about to hit someone.
Wen Qinxi restrained him by pulling him behind him while the woman started screaming bloody murder. "Did I lie? I spoke the truth but you want to hit me. Hit me then. Go ahead, hit a woman. I will let everyone know your true face you disgusting pervert," she yelled and Qie Xieling laughed already seeing this woman’s demise.
"I thought I was called here because someone beat up my son? It looks more like a showdown between parents," said Luo Shih as she pulled down her shades.
The woman who was wailing just now and the parents backing her up quieted down. For a second, the only sound was coming from the clanking of her six-inch stilettos.
She sat down next to Luo Muchen and asked him, "Are you hurt?"
Luo Muchen shook his head and Luo Shih turned to the principal. "My son was only defending himself," she said while opening her pearl white clutch purse and taking out a USB drive.
"This contains all the evidence you need to expel these four little shits. Now if you don’t mind this so-called slut has a very important meeting," she said before getting up with Luo Muchen and walking out.
Everyone, "..."
Luo Shih wasn’t joking. The reason she was late was because she was a step ahead of everyone. She had gathered all the videos of what transpired and of other incidences where her son was surrounded. It was obvious who the perpetrators were and who the victim was.
