Chapter 539: ... Who hasn’t he slept with then?"

Zhang Hua swung his sword as gracefully as a crane before opening his eyes and staring at him with disgust. "This is your last chance. Give up voluntarily if you still value your pretty face. One more step and you will be off the platform. No one would blame you... After all, I am a powerful opponent. It makes sense if you give up."

Qie Xieling clenched his jaw his gaze a blazing inferno. He moved his foot back his heel right at the edge of the platform. Zhang Hua sneered seeing him right at the edge of the platform. He was about to sheath his sword when his eyes suddenly narrowed. Qie Xieling took a few steps forward and said, "Now why would I want to make it easy for you? Your insistence for me to quit, is it because you are afraid of getting defeated by a filthy person like me?"

Zhang Hua gritted his teeth and lunged forward, his sword flashing in the sunlight. He was extremely angry and it was showing in his fierce strikes.

Qie Xieling barely dodged the last attack, feeling the blade graze his shoulder. He stumbled back, trying to regain his balance. Zhang Hua had never lost to anyone that he faced. He had defeated every opponent with ease, displaying his superior skills and strength. It was because of this that the odds were seemingly against Qie Xieling.

He gripped his sword tightly, watching Zhang Hua’s every move looking for an opening, a weakness, a chance to strike. But Zhang Hua was relentless, pressing his advantage. He swung his sword in a wide arc, aiming for Qie Xieling’s neck. Qie Xieling raised his sword to block, but it was too late. Zhang Hua’s sword sliced through his arm, drawing blood. Qie Xieling cried out in pain, dropping his sword. He clutched his wounded arm, feeling the blood seep through his fingers.

Zhang Hua smirked seeing his agony. He took a few steps his gaze transfixed on him. Bi Yize clenched his fist as he got up and said, "Zhang Hua, don’t take things too far!"

Zhang turned his sharp gaze towards Bi Yize and said, "Stay out of it. This has nothing to do with you."

"Of course it does!" yelled Bi Yize but Zhang Hua’s retort left him speechless.

"Just because you want to sleep with him doesn’t mean you should involve yourself. Oh, wait... have you two already? Who hasn’t he slept with then?"

Qie Xieling who was tired of his slanderous words picked up his sword and lunged forward. Their blades clashed with a resounding clang, the sound echoing through the arena as they circled each other, their movements fluid and precise. Zhang Hua forced Qie Xieling back with each ferocious attack. Qie Xieling battled bravely, but Zhang Hua’s unyielding attack was too much for him to handle. A bead of sweat trickled down his brow as he narrowly dodged a sweeping strike, feeling the sharp sting as Zhang Hua’s blade nicked his cheek.

The crowd gasped as he staggered, blood seeping from the cut. Master Zi laughed softly while praising Master Zhang for raising a formidable son but Master Zhang felt like his entire body was being gnarled by ants. He had told his son to go easy on Qie Xieling if they battle but this brat had disobeyed him. He could feel the intense stare burning holes through his side profile but he didn’t dare look at those elders.

Qie Xieling touched his cheeks with the tips of his fingers and looked at the blood staining them. His fingers trembled slightly his entire body blazing with rage. "Don’t blame me. I did warn you," said Zhang Hua taunting him.

With a sudden burst of energy, Qie Xieling launched a daring counterattack, his movements a blur of calculated strikes and nimble footwork. The arena was filled with the clashing of steel and the thunderous roar of the crowd as the two of them fought with unparalleled intensity.

Zhang Hua seemed to anticipate Qie Xieling’s every move, trapping him in a web of swordplay. He had no mercy, no compassion. He was driven by his desire to humiliate Qie Xieling, to crush him under his feet.

Qie Xieling had almost fallen off the platform twice, saved only by his quick reflexes and agility. He knew he could not last much longer, that Zhang Hua would eventually overpower him. He looked for an opening, a chance to turn the tide, but Zhang Hua gave him none. He was relentless, pressing his advantage, driving him to the edge.

He stumbled, his foot slipping on the stone floor. He fell to his knees, his sword dropping from his hand. He looked up and saw Zhang Hua’s cold smile. Zhang Hua walked over slowly, his sword pointed at Qie Xieling’s throat. He raised his foot, ready to kick Qie Xieling off the platform. Qie Xieling’s gaze turned to look at Luo Muchen.

They stared at each other for what felt like an eternity but it was only a split second. The corner of his lips quirked slightly. He didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of his man hence defeat was not an option. Acting on instinct. He grabbed Zhang Hua’s ankle, and pulled with all his might.

Zhang Hua lost his balance and fell to the ground. Qie Xieling scrambled to his feet and picked up his sword. He jumped on him and pinned him down. He raised his sword and brought it down on Zhang Hua’s chest.

Zhang Hua reacted in time. He twisted his body and rolled Qie Xieling over. He freed himself from Qie Xieling’s grip and pushed him away. He got up and swung his sword at the ger’s head.

Qie Xieling ducked and dodged the blow. He spun around and delivered a roundhouse kick to Zhang Hua’s face. Zhang Hua staggered and dropped his sword. Qie Xieling kicked it away and followed with another kick to Zhang Hua’s chest. He flew back and fell off the platform.

The entire arena fell silent in shock. The entire match Qie Xieling was in a precarious position and almost fell off the platform numerous times but in the end, it was Young Master Zhang lying on the ground looking pitiful.

Qie Xieling stood on the platform, breathing heavily, his sword in his hand looking majestic and powerful. The spectators erupted in cheers but he only had eyes for Luo Muchen. He winked at him and Luo Muchen pursed his lips suppressing the smile creeping up on his face.
