Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 104: ,"Lin Lin, help me put on some sunscreen on my back."
As the rough breeze brushed against the glass window, Luo Muchen lay awake watching Qie Xieling’s body gently falling and rising like the tranquil ripples in a deep cave pool far from outside world interference.
He curled his fingers clutching the pillow as he resisted the urge to hug Qie Xieling to sleep.
Exhaustion slowly took over. As he drifted off to sleep, his breathing slowed and steadied his expression that of complete content. As his eyelids became heavy and drooping, Qie Xieling suddenly turned over. Luo Muchen opened his eyes all his sleep was gone at that moment.
Qie Xieling gently wrapped his arms around Luo Muchen’s waist and pulled him closer before he finally stopped moving. With his face close, Luo Muchen could feel his warm breath spraying on his face sending sparks straight to his heart. With those lips near to his Luo Muchen’s heart couldn’t take it.
He really wanted to kiss. Just a few inches and they would be able to but...
Luo Muchen shifted just a little bit closer his lips almost brushing against Qie Xieling’s. His heart was pounding fast with anticipation. But after waiting for a long time nothing happened and he couldn’t fight back sleep anymore. He slowly drifted off to sleep and never crossed the boundary. But someone wasn’t as honest as he was.
In the middle of the night, Qie Xieling hooked his leg on Luo Muchen’s while shifting closer. His lips accidentally brushed against Luo Muchen’s. As though he had tasted something sweet he licked and sucked it but seeing that it wasn’t melting he let it go.
Luo Muchen who was far gone and fast asleep wrapped his arm around Qie Xieling while mumbling, "Stop making trouble."

"Ugh, it’s so hot. My feet almost got roasted," complained Bo Ailun while sitting next to Qie Xieling who was lying comfortably on the sun lounger with the big umbrella protecting from the scorching sun.
Qie Xieling pushed down his sunglasses while saying, "You aren’t even wearing slippers. Plus you refused to put on sunscreen."
"With sunscreen on I will be roasted like rotisserie chicken," complained Bo Ailun and Qie Xieling fixed his sunglasses while replying,
"That’s not how it works."
Qie Xieling’s cell phone buzzed so he took it out and soon started typing. While replying to his father’s message he vaguely heard Lee Ya’s voice but he wasn’t paying attention. It was after Lee Ya called his name twice did he half raise his head while saying, "Give me a minute."
Lee Ya, "..."
She had been turning gazes ever since she stepped out of the hotel room. She had on a one-piece with a mesh cover-up dress and her hair tied up high. She had even put on a little make up and was especially bubbly.
Refusing to be ignored she sat next to Qie Xieling and stretched out her hand showing off the new nail polish she had done at the hotel spa.
Qie Xieling finally looked up and saw that hand stretching out to him. His gaze shifted from her hand and her face before asking, "What?"
She wiggled her fingers while asking, "How does it look? Pretty right?"
Qie Xieling glanced at the pretty green colour. It looked nice so he complimented her sincerely.
"It looks pretty," he said and she smiled shyly while her gaze fell on his shirtless upper body.
She scratched the back of her neck before shyly asking, "Gege, can I touch it," pointing at his abs bashfully.
Qie Xieling, "..."
You see, this was why Luo Muchen told him to wear a shirt. It would save him a lot of trouble.
"No, it would be inappropriate," he said and Lee Ya glanced at all the people hanging out by the pool. She suddenly didn’t want to let go of this opportunity.
When others see them getting along intimately their jeers and compliments could steer this boat in the right direction. Unfortunately for her Qie Xieling was not inclined to let her touch him.
"No touching that’s the law," he said before going back on his cell phone. He swiped up his cell phone screen about to write Luo Muchen a message when the man showed up.
When he appeared heads turned, their eyes following him as he strode past them with his tall frame commanding the space around him. His movements were fluid and graceful entrancing whoever laid eyes on him. Despite the eyes on him, he appeared unfazed walking with an easy, carefree gait. When he met Qie Xieling’s gaze hidden behind the sunglasses he smiled warmly and walked towards him.
"He isn’t even shirtless yet he can still steal the show," muttered Bo Ailun while Qie Xieling’s gaze remained transfixed on Luo Muchen’s face. Something was up with his face but he just couldn’t tell what exactly. His curiosity led him to keep staring longer than he should and Luo Muchen noticed.
Qie Xieling finally noticed what was wrong and asked, "What happened to your-," but he was suddenly interrupted by Lee Ya.
"Gege, can you apply sunscreen on my arms at the back for me," she asked and Qie Xieling was very quick to shut that down.
"You should ask Li Na. Oh, there she is. She seems to be looking for you," he replied before turning back to Luo Muchen but his brain lagged at that moment and forgot what he wanted to say.
That’s because Luo Muchen who had been trying to convince him not to take off his shirt actually took his off and said, "Lin Lin, help me put on some sunscreen on my back."
Qie Xieling, "..."
Luo Muchen when fully clothed appeared lean but once that shirt was off what was underneath left him in awe. He had seen him half naked once or twice but something had changed. Qie Xieling’s gaze lingered on his smooth skin glistening under the sunlight, his toned muscles rippling with every move. His burning eyes traced the lines of his broad chest and strong arms, lingering on the cut of his abs as they flexed in the light.
With a hint of a smile at the corner of his lips, Luo Muchen sat down on the chaise by Qie Xieling’s feet waiting for him to rub sunscreen on him. By now Lee Ya would have stormed off but she didn’t back down. She slipped out of her mesh cover up dress and lay down on the chaise beside them laying in a pose like that of a conservative version of Playboy magazine.
Qie Xieling, "..."
Bo Ailun, "..."
