Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 313 - 250: Leaving Sandeph
"It’s quite pathetic if you ask me," Eva’s attitude took a sudden 180 turn as the throne she was sitting on turned into a cloud. As she floated on it, slowly rising to the air her softened eyes were hardened as she glared down at them all.
"I mean seriously! You’re all so pathetic! Churches from other worlds are far more fierce. How did I end up with a bunch of idiots?! If not for the Saintess begging me I won’t even look your way," As Eva admonished them all a massive pressure emanated from her, filling the entire room.
Many felt like they were choking as the pressure was suffocating, making them feel like they were drowning in a sea of death. This pressure caused all to fall to their knees in pure panic.
They all stared at Eva who gave them a look of pure disgust, as her smile was now sinister. She decided to pull back in the pressure, allowing the people to breathe properly again but she still had an aura surrounding her still.
Everyone in the room stood up and watched her in silence. No one dared to say a thing in her presence as they were unsure what would happen.
Aurianna tried her best to hold her composure but in her head thoughts were running rampantly. ’What happened to the good, kind goddess script!? This was not the plan we discussed. And who the fuck did she say begged her? I’m her master!!’
"If you all want to avoid your pathetic fates don’t always expect someone to save your sorry asses and just stand up for yourself. The world isn’t filled with rainbows and happiness. There will always be assholes who have no sense of humanity in them and you plan to forgive them? Fucking idiots, it was this selflessness that killed you. The ones who caused your demise aren’t the problem. The problem is you people, and you think you can pin the blame on others, tch." Eva ranted as she scratched her head aggressively.
"I can sense that some of you lack the hatred that should have for these people who made you suffer the worst fate ever. If you want to be a sorry bitch, be my guest and go die again. Don’t you all remember what happened when you helped them? Once they were prosperous they decided to kill you off!!"
The room was silent. No one could say she was wrong, it was true. They saw Aurianna’s memories. They would meet a gruesome end, and while some felt anger and frustration, others were simply indifferent. Believing they were safe in this reality.
Eva continued, "But if you want to change your fate and make those bastards regret it, join the White Gemaris church and as your goddess, I would lead you to get your revenge and the respect you all deserve. So what do you say?"
"Follow the White Gemaris goddess!!" a person cheered.
"Follow the White Gemaris goddess!!" the members cheered in unison.
"Follow the White Gemaris goddess!!"
[ You have charmed 4325 people ]
[ Since Eva was involved she receives 3200 faith points, and Aurianna receives 400 faith points. ]
"Why are you helping us?" Deille looked up at Eva with a doubting expression.
"Because it’s going to be fucking fun to mess with the world, what’s more, I like to turn idiots into geniuses," Eva laughed before she disappeared without another word.
"You owe me one Aurianna," Eva said through mind communication.
"Well these people would be hesitant to worship me, a fellow human," Aurianna responded blatantly.
"Even so they are still worshiping you in the end," Eva chuckled.
"People like them would want something to believe in, they won’t believe it if they didn’t see it," Aurianna said coldly.
"One more thing everyone! We are leaving the Kingdom of Sandeph tomorrow evening," Aurianna announced.
At her announcement, saying that they received a couple surprises that day would’ve been an understatement. Their jaws might have been in danger of falling off with how wide their mouths were open from shock.
"Why should we leave?" Priest Hotron asked, confused.
"Because the White Gemaris goddess has provided us a better place to make our base."
Hotron opened his mouth, no doubt with more questions but before he could speak Aurianna continued.
"Now, time for questions is over. If you have anything you care about immediately take them and arrive here before sunset," Aurianna ordered.
"From this day forth the church is breaking all ties with the other kingdoms, with no other exceptions. We are taking all our priests and healers back. Also, in order to increase our power we need more people. Buy every slave you can find! I don’t care what race they’re from. Use the church funds if it’s not enough, Deille you can use my gifts to pay. I bet they’re worth a lot," Aurianna smirked.
Deille, although not completely opposed, held a conflicted expression. He simply nodded however since he was told no more questions would be answered, walking off along with a couple priests to carry out the command.
"All members should find homeless people or individuals who don’t like their current lives to join our church, do not involve the nobles." Aurianna added, "I don’t care what kind of race they are as long as they’re the kind who would do anything to survive."
"But if we gather so many individuals, how are we going to control them?" a healer asked as he stared at Aurianna.
"Obviously the same way I did for you all I’ll give them the same Holy mark," Aurianna pointed to her eye.
"Remember anyone dares to try and betray me, this holy mark would explode them, so be warned," Aurianna said with a pleased expression.
"Can’t you trust us, Saintess?" a lady asked.
"No, I never know who would stab me in the back. Imanity are very selfish and ambitious beings after all."
____________
"I’m glad that the plan went off without any problems," Aurianna sighed as she sat down on a chair in an empty room.
"Truly, I mean since you’ve been planning this for the past five years, I thought you would fail." Eva said as she floated beside Aurianna.
’Can’t she just compliment me,’ Aurianna thought with a blank face as she felt like punching Eva everytime she heard those words.
"Well I did say I would save them, whether they like it or not!"
Aurianna cried as she took a bite of some cake.
"Well you’ve fulfilled your first goal of bringing the church of Sandeph under your wings and away from Paige," Eva cheered.
"Now my next goal is to make my new church the strongest," Aurianna said with a hint of confidence.
"Should we help them as well?" Hadina asked.
"No need to bother yourselves just stay by my side," Aurianna stated patting Zagan on the head as he sat next to her
