Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 205: High Curse
***
The next day.
Shadow Ruler’s Base
Lilith City, 25th Floor.
In the early morning, Lewis invited the other members to join him. Currently, they were doing a relaxation that would help their minds and hearts to be calmer. Lewis felt the relaxation’s sensation.
Sara, Karen, and Mona followed him. Not only that, the two new members who signed up yesterday also followed along. Aaron and Aerith chose to relax in the living room while enjoying a cup of hot tea.
It was six in the morning, the match in the second round of the Pre-Qualification would take place at eight in the morning.
At the very least, Aaron would let them meditate until 7am. After that, Lewis and Karen had to get ready to head to Dimension Justice’s arena.
There were a total of 23 opponents that Lewis would face, the rules in the Pre-Qualification prohibited participants from the same group to fight. So, they will fight each other against other groups.
If anyone fights a participant from their own group, the organizers have the right to separate the two and switch them to another opponent. They should not object to that.
The draw numbers are still the same as before. At eight o’clock, the match draw will be held, and at nine o’clock, the first match of the day will start.
"Do we need to watch the match?" asked Aerith.
"Of course, they’re our friends after all. We need to be there to support them," Aaron replied.
"No, they don’t. They’re your friends, not mine."
Aaron shook his head with a soft sigh. He took another slow sip of his warm tea, as did Aerith. For Aaron, it was too early for him to drink wine in the morning, so drinking warm tea could be their choice.
WOSH!
Aaron squinted his eyes, his dome detector magic detected the presence of another mage flying close to Aaron’s house.
Although there was a mage who came uninvited, Aaron felt that the mage’s magic fluctuations felt familiar to him.
"Wait a moment."
Before he could lower the wooden glass he was holding, Aaron darted quickly in a flash of purple light out of the house. Aerith was indifferent, letting Aaron’s wooden cup of warm tea spill onto the couch.
A gust of wind was created, strong magic surges spread like waves to the area around the house. Lewis, who was sensitive to magic waves, could sense that Aaron was doing something. Find adventures at novelbuddy
Aaron thought that the mage who came to visit this place was a mage with high killing intent, but it was not. The reason Aaron felt familiar with her power was because the mage who came was Emily.
She arrived with her beast servant Griffin, the woman stripped off her Sky Sword uniform and arrived in a casual T-shirt suit. Her position here was as a member of the Shadow Ruler, not a member of Sky Sword.
"Oh my."
"I thought you were someone else," Aaron complained, deactivating his magic aura and acting casual with both hands clasped around his waist.

"Why? You weren’t expecting me, Master Venerable Sage?" asked Emily.
"That’s not it. I didn’t expect you to come here instead of coming to the arena. How did you know about this place?" Aaron asked.
Emily smiled widely. Griffin brought her to land, the woman jumped off the beast servant’s back. She stepped closer to Aaron with a little jumping to and fro, noticing the aesthetics of the Shadow Ruler’s base.
"This place looks like a haunted house rather than a group base," Emily complained, waving her hand in front of her nose when she smelled something oddly scented.
"I need to buy this house because I like the atmosphere here. When Shadow Ruler wins the Group Tournament, I’m going to make this place like a palace, even grander than your sister’s palace," Aaron joked, pointing at Emily who was still acting like a child to him.
"What? Nothing can compete with my sister’s Sky Palace," Emily replied, trying to hit Aaron but Aaron held her back by holding her head, what an adorable gesture.
Aerith finished her tea, set the wooden cup on the table and stepped quickly over to Aaron. She saw that he was having a conversation with a woman, looking like a teenage girl but acting like a 12-year-old girl.
"Who are you?" asked Aerith, glaring intimidatingly.
"She’s Emily. Eloise’s younger sister. She’s the girl I told you about yesterday, the girl who was healed by my power," said Aaron.
"Really?" asked Aerith, curious.
The woman stretched her hand forward, directing a maroon-colored magic light to shine all over Emily’s body, as if scanning her. Aerith stopped that after finding out what happened to the girl.
"She’s got a curse," Aerith said.
"I know it’s a curse, he has released the curse from my body," said Emily, pointing at Aaron.
"Who said your curse was lifted?" asked Aerith, looking at Aaron.
FLICK!
With a brief flick of his finger, he summoned flame magic and entered Emily’s body. The light shone brightly in white, Aaron and the others were forced to cover their eyes as the blinding light was able to blind them.
"Ehh?!"
"What’s going on?!" shouted Emily.
The light faded, Aaron could see more clearly towards the woman in front of him. There, he saw Emily’s body shrink and return to the form of a 12-year-old girl, the clothes she wore seemed oversized on her body.
"H-How come?" asked Aaron, shocked.
"The curse didn’t disappear, it shrank and deactivated. When the curse is triggered by the power of darkness, it will activate the spell on the curse," Aerith replied.
Aaron nodded. Slowly starting to understand what was happening. However, he still didn’t understand why Aaron could make the curse deactivate. Aerith shook her head, perhaps it was related to Dark Azazel’s magic.
"But that can’t be confirmed yet," Aerith explained.
"Do you know what this curse is?" asked Aaron.
"A powerful curse that comes from Visiri. I don’t know who put the curse on him, but it is certain that it was an experienced mage who studied the history of magic, or those from Planet Visiri," Aerith replied.
It’s impossible for someone from the Visiri planet to travel all the way to Earth -except Lucy. However, studying the history of magic was not easy. Aaron was certain that the person who placed the curse on Emily was from the Dark Legion.
"Dark Legion. They must be behind all of this," Aaron said.
"But there’s something you should know," Aerith said, crouching down right in front of Emily so that they were eye to eye.
"What is it?" Emily asked innocently.
"You must find the records of the reversal spell immediately. Otherwise, in 10 years, you’ll be dead."
