"Who could it be?" Damien thought as he opened the door, only to see an old servant standing in front of his door.

"Here. Take this pill. It is the order of our Mistress that you swallow this now!" The old servant rudely said without even looking at him as he handed over a wooden box to Damien.

Damien could see that this old man was only at the Sky Ethereal Realm and yet acting as if he was some bigshot. But then he realized that he was a human slave, which meant his status was the lowest it could get around here.

Damien knew he would be facing these kinds of treatments in the future, though he had no plans to accept them in the long run.

Still, he was surprised that even a servant here was at the Sky Ethereal Realm, where back in the Rising Sun Continent, those young geniuses would be no stronger than a servant here.

But his attention was pulled towards the wooden box in his hand as he felt a very powerful medicinal aura coming from inside the box. Since he had possessed a Rank 7 pill before, he was sure this pill surpassed Rank 7!

"What kind of pill is this?" Damien asked as he opened the wooden box, only to be blown away by the powerful medicinal aura that brushed past him.

"This is a Rank 8 healing pill called the Draught of the Healer. You better not waste it, slave. Be thankful the Mistress needs you in good shape as soon as possible. A crippled slave is no good to her, hmph!" The old servant was so grumpy because he was jealous that his Mistress was giving away such a precious pill to some human slave she got today.

Even he, as a ghoul, never got such favorable treatment. He couldn't even understand why his Mistress would be so concerned about healing this piece of human crap.

But who was he to question her decisions? Maybe his Mistress had some emergency plans involving this human slave.

Damien didn't feel bothered by his rude remarks since it was of no use getting pissed off at some nobody.

Instead, he was thinking about how his aunt had already prepared a pill for his arm to heal. She must have surely ordered someone on her way out.

"Go on! Swallow it now. I don't have time to waste with you," The old servant said with a disgruntled look.

Damien realized this annoying old man wanted to make sure he swallowed it, and without thinking any further, he gulped it down before closing the door on the old servant's face.

"Hey! You little—"

"Ohhh…this is stronger than I thought," Damien felt a powerful burst of ethereal energy flooding his body, head to toe, within just a second.

He was astonished that this pill contained ethereal energy instead of nethereal energy.

"You don't have to look so surprised. These ghouls feed on ethereal energy. Why else would they need humans?" Luna pointed out after seeing how surprised Damien was.

"But Lily's ethereal light energy seemed like it affected those with nethereal energy in their bodies. Why?" Damien remembered how her pure light energy weakened Ruthren's army of nethereal soldiers and even slowed down the Abominable Fiend for a short moment.

"Because ethereal energy isn't as simple as you think. It has various sides to it. It could be volatile, it could be tranquil, it could be aggressive, or it could be as bright and pure as the Light Element."

"Hm, hm, we nethereal creatures live in the dark. Master must have noticed how everything seems dark and gloomy around you. The sunlight barely makes it past the clouds here. That is why the Light Element or something as deadly as the Heavenly Flames are a bane to us," Kalypso explained since she knew these things the best as a being from the Nethereal Dimension.

"Oh..no wonder…" Damien finally felt things made sense as he thought of how quickly his Heavenly Flames devoured that Abominable Fiend.

"Then how is nethereal energy beneficial to them?" Damien asked since all ghouls were born from nethereal energy.

"Shouldn't you already know the answer to that?" Luna asked with crossed arms, making something click in Damien's mind.

"Oh…the destructive power?" Damien asked while feeling that his arm was getting better rapidly. It seemed that the remnants of the Heavenly Flame energy were flushed away and no longer bothered him.

Before the powerful healing pill could even take its course, Damien's healing factor kicked in and rapidly healed his injured arm to the point he was able to move it without discomfort.

"Yes. We are known for our destructive power and for killing anything we touch. This is why when an ethereal and a nethereal cultivator of the same cultivation battle each other, the nethereal cultivator would win 9 out of 10 times. But of course, it depends on various other factors and conditions," Kalypso said while smirking at Luna, who rolled her eyes.

"No wonder my powers feel so destructive whenever I use my Anti-God Arts," Damien mumbled as he rubbed his arm, which was as good as new already.

*Clak!*

The door suddenly opened as Akira came inside with a troubled look, "Damien, I will have to go out for a while. It seems my disciple is in trouble, and I would have to personally go and help her get back home. You should stay in this room till I am gone, okay? Because if you go out now, you wouldn't like how people will treat you. Most of them don't even know yet that you are under me."

"Master, she is right. It's better to lay low till we get an idea of this entire place," Kalypso also supported Akira's words.

Damien knew his aunt's advice was well-meant, but he didn't want to simply stay inside this room and said, "Then how about you bring me with you? Maybe I can be of some help in ways you might not expect."
