Rise of The Anti God-Chapter 686: Revenge Is Best Served Cold
Ruthren turned his head towards Damien with a casual sneer, "All of you are doomed already. You bunch of fools—"
*Shhick!*
"AARGHH!!!"
The sound of flesh being punctured and twisted was heard by everyone as Damien saw Elor and Irene puncturing Ruthren's eyes with two of their fingers. The way and the speed at which they struck his eyes was no different than stabbing his eyes with a sharp blade.
Ruthren was caught unawares as he howled in agonizing pain while feeling Elor and Irene twisting the mangled flesh of his eyeballs within his eye sockets.
Damien calmly looked at both of them, their expressions a bit crazed as they crushed Ruthren's eyeballs. He wasn't surprised by seeing their excited and fevered expressions since he knew how much these two had desired and waited for centuries to do this.
How could they not make him suffer in pain first?
"This is for our daughter, you filth!" Irene said with gritted teeth as her expression didn't flicker despite clawing out his eyeball.
"And for our people," Elor added with a disgusted look as he finally took his fingers out and immediately got rid of the blood using his ethereal energy, not wanting to let Ruthren's blood remain on his skin any longer.
Ruthren was grimacing with a clenched jaw as he endured the pain while blood continued to gush out of his two bloody eye sockets, "Haaa…Haaa…You two old fools…This is not over. I will—"
*Sshick!*
*Sshick!*
*Sshick!*
"Urhghh!!"
The sounds of three ice blades cleanly cutting through flesh and Ruthren's painful grunt were like music to Reva's ears after she cut off his nose and both his ears at the same time.
His face looked quite ghastly now though Damien was finding it incredibly satisfying, seeing Ruthren's pride and ego being chipped away one by one.
Reva frigidly stared at his face with her cold azure eyes and didn't say anything until after a few moments, "Hope you rot in hell…father."
Reva's comment made Damien feel like dejavu when he remembered a certain cold beauty in his past life, 'No way…'
Ruthren's expression was visibly shaking in anger and pain but hearing her words, his lips curved into a cold chuckle as he laughed like a maniac, "Oh…Reva, you are no different. You will soon witness a living hell, and not even your precious Damien can—"
*Crakk!*
"Unghh!"
This time before he could even finish his sentence, a layer of earth covered his left arm, followed by the sound of something solid being cracked and separated.
Blood gushed out of the huge bloody hole on his severed arm as his left arm fell off like a piece of log, literally covered with muddy earth.
His right arm was already smashed into a past by Damien, and now his left arm was totally gone, making him physically crippled.
"Shut your mouth, asshole. This is for my papa," Yuria said with a glowering look and coldly smiled, seeing his pathetic look. Who would have thought the strongest man in the continent would be kneeling before them like this, getting destroyed piece by piece?
"Ha, ha, ha…HA, HA, HA!!" Ruthren laughed even more loudly, though one could only wonder if he had gone mad with pain or if he was laughing as a way to cope with what was going on with him.
Lily, who was standing at the back silently, strangely didn't feel horrified by what was happening in front of her. Instead, she was feeling a sense of relief in her chest and thought that she would be satisfied with just this.
But hearing his wicked laughter and then remembering her ancestor and her father who died because of Ruthren, she felt her vision get clouded as her pulse elevated. She didn't even want to hear his voice anymore.
She slowly stepped forward and motioned the others to stand behind her. None of them asked anything as they stood behind her.
"Not even a hundred of you put together would be worth my father and ancestor. I know I can never regain what you took from me, but I can make sure you will never take anything from anybody else," As Lily said this, her iris turned a brilliant white as radiant white light began to emanate from her palms.
Damien felt it a bit surprising as he saw what Lily was doing, but then he softly sighed, thinking that this was for the best and at least she could finally get vengeance for Marvin's death.
But he thought that the wrath of a person who was as kind and gentle as Lily would surely be more terrifying than a normal person. Such people would never get angry easily but once angered…it was a whole different story.
All those standing behind Lily saw brilliant white light filling their vision.
"Unnnghhh…Arrgh….Lily! I…I should have killed you all already! AARGH!!" Ruthren roared as he felt like he was being boiled alive by the scorching heat from the radiant white light. It was like he was kneeling before the sun itself.
The others were a bit surprised by Ruthren's groans and his rageful words since it seemed he could not no longer pretend to put up a nonchalant front. This could only mean that his ego was utterly crushed beyond his limit.
The radiant white light slowly faded, and when it fully disappeared, Damien raised his brows as he saw a bloody-skinned person kneeling before Lily, feebly breathing.
All the skin of his face and his upper body was ruthlessly seared to the point his skin was completely turned to ashes, and he now looked like someone who got skinned alive.
His appearance looked even more harrowing because of the bloody eye sockets and the chopped-off ears and nose where one can even see the bone underneath.
His majestic robes were all burned off, and his magnificent hair was all gone and what was left was a bloody scalp.
"Why are you not laughing now?" Lily softly asked without a flicker in her eyes as she looked down at Ruthren.
