After a few months of getting the same reply, she stopped asking, thinking that it might even take a decade for the money to be released.

She thought that since Leng Pan could still live in such a luxurious apartment in the future, even without as much money as before, she could maintain their friendship.

Leng Pan’s heart softened after a few times and simply joined the same team when the apocalypse began. Even though she never accepted him, she didn’t avoid him as much as before.

When he died to protect her, Bai Yinyin had caught her several times crying and scolding herself for being stupid. Asking why she hadn’t just accepted him and at least had a few happy years together since he wasn’t going to choose anyone else anyway?

Now sitting here again in the beginning of everything, she would still make the same choices as before, just that she wouldn’t let Leng Pan die as then she would lose her protective amulet.

Moreover, she could still help Lu Zhen avoid some of the disasters and then maybe he would see her value and fall for her instead of following behind Leng Pan like a lost puppy.

If she couldn’t make him fall in love with her, she could at least use the information she had about the future to bargain with him and have him date her.

Even without love, he didn’t mind as long as he could get the man Leng Pan cherished so much. Anyway, in this apocalypse, she was going to make sure she thrives and have Lu Zhen take revenge for her and kill those men who violated and humiliated her in her previous life.
