Revenge with the Power of the Final Boss-Chapter 112
“Ugh, ugh…”
Park Hyung-tae was collapsed on the ground, groaning in pain.
The monsters he had tamed were frozen solid by Kang Yu-ra’s icy powers and shattered into pieces. He himself lay there, his limbs frozen stiff from her attacks.
Looking down at him, Kang Yu-ra spoke coldly.
“This is the end for you. So why don’t you come to your senses already?”
“What are you… Arghhh!”
Park Hyung-tae screamed as a searing pain coursed through his head. The voice that had been cunningly whispering inside his mind began to fade away.
With it, the power granted by that voice also vanished from his body.
As he reverted back to being just a regular SSS-class villain, his own will returned to him.
“Ugh, urgh!”

Freed from the control of The Fox That Devours Worlds, he was now liberated. But the results of his liberation were far from positive.
As an SSS-class villain consumed by his own base desires, he had no true conviction or purpose to guide him.
“Why, why did this happen?”
Park Hyung-tae realized he had been manipulated. His actions—offering Kang Yu-ra and four other exceptional beauties to The Fox That Devours Worlds—were utterly abnormal when he thought back on them.
However, realizing this did not grant him a new lease on life. Instead, he now faced the consequences of the sins he had committed.
“Are you awake now?”
As his vision cleared, he saw Kang Yu-ra standing over him, a cold smile on her face.
Her silvery hair shimmered like it was crafted from the finest silver, and her crimson eyes sparkled like jewels. At 20 years old, she had grown into an extraordinarily beautiful woman.
She had surpassed her mother, Yoon Ji-hye, in beauty, just as he had expected.
But rather than possessing her, as he had dreamed, his life was now in her hands.
With his limbs frozen, he was utterly powerless. Even attempting to resist with magic was meaningless in this situation.
“P-please spare me! This attack—it wasn’t my doing!”
The only option he had left was to beg for his life. Without hesitation, Park Hyung-tae groveled, pleading for mercy without a shred of pride.
“How predictable.”
Kang Yu-ra regarded him with disdain.
This pathetic man, now groveling for his life, was the same person who had killed her parents just because of his desire for her mother, Yoon Ji-hye.
She had restored him to his senses so that she could kill him herself, as her true enemy, rather than a mere puppet of The Fox That Devours Worlds. Yet his pitiful behavior only filled her with contempt.
In fact, he had seemed more resolute when he had been under the entity’s control, as if he had actual conviction then.
“You’re going to die by my hand now. And don’t think death is the end. Look forward to it.”
“W-what…? Cough!”
An icy spear, created by Kang Yu-ra, pierced directly through Park Hyung-tae’s heart.
Coughing up blood, Park Hyung-tae could hardly believe that death was coming for him. But Kang Yu-ra’s freezing energy invaded his body, killing him swiftly from the inside out.
‘I can’t… die like this!’
Park Hyung-tae didn’t want to die. He may not have cared about the countless lives he had taken, but he couldn’t bear the thought of losing his own.
Like most villains, he was perfectly fine with harming others, yet couldn’t accept harm coming to himself.
“A villain who faces death with dignity? That only happens in stories. A person like that wouldn’t have become a villain like you in the first place.”
With Kang Yu-ra’s final words, Park Hyung-tae’s life ended.
Looking down at his cold, lifeless corpse, Kang Yu-ra remained silent for a moment.
‘I finally did it.’
She had avenged her parents. But for Park Hyung-tae, death was far from the end.
If she had intended to end her revenge with something as simple as killing him, she wouldn’t have embarked on it in the first place. She wanted Park Hyung-tae to experience unending torment, even after death.
‘Husband does the same—he ensures his enemies suffer endlessly.’
While So Kang-seok’s death had been unavoidable, the villains who had followed him were still enduring a living hell. Baek Seo-jun had shown her the results of his vengeance, and Kang Yu-ra had resolved to exact a similarly thorough revenge.
‘It’s not just about killing him. I want Park Hyung-tae to suffer endlessly.’
Even though his body was dead, his soul would face endless torment through Baek Seo-jun’s power. And so, Kang Yu-ra’s revenge against the villain Park Hyung-tae was complete.
“Mother…”
Now, her next goal was to bring back her mother, Yoon Ji-hye.
[Your mother is dead, but The Fox That Devours Worlds infused her with its power to resurrect her as something other than human. I’ll turn her back into a human when the time comes.]
Baek Seo-jun’s words had given Kang Yu-ra new hope—not just to retrieve her mother’s body, but to possibly bring her back to life.
“Mother!”
At that moment, a portal appeared in front of her. Through it, she could see Baek Seo-jun sitting casually on the sofa in his office.
“Yu-ra, come in.”
“Yes!”
As Kang Yu-ra stepped into the portal, she turned at the faint presence behind her.
“Mother…”
Yoon Ji-hye, now in human form, stood there, her fox ears and tail gone. Her vacant gaze made her seem like an empty shell, as if she wasn’t aware of anything around her.
Seeing her mother standing there but not recognizing her brought tears to Kang Yu-ra’s eyes.
“Is her consciousness… not restored?”
“No.”
Baek Seo-jun denied her question.
“What?”
Confused by his unexpected answer, Kang Yu-ra looked at him, and he chuckled softly.
“I haven’t awakened her consciousness yet. I thought it would be better if the first person she saw when she woke up was her daughter, not a stranger like me.”
“Oh…”
Relieved, Kang Yu-ra nearly collapsed with gratitude. Smiling, she spoke softly.
“Husband, you really… scared me.”
“Sorry about that. But don’t you think it’s better this way? For her to see you first?”
“Yes… you’re probably right.”
Baek Seo-jun stood up and walked over to her, placing a hand gently on her shoulder.
“Alright, let’s bring her back now.”
“Yes.”
“Your mother’s memories are missing the past 11 years. I’ve organized the information and sent it to her subconscious, so she might be a bit overwhelmed at first.”
“…Okay.”
Kang Yu-ra didn’t take her eyes off her mother, though her body trembled with tension. Baek Seo-jun gave her a reassuring pat before restoring Yoon Ji-hye’s consciousness.
“Ugh… huh?”
Yoon Ji-hye blinked her violet eyes and looked at Kang Yu-ra, her expression shifting to surprise.
“W-who… Yu-ra?”
At first, she seemed to ask who Kang Yu-ra was, but her lips unconsciously spoke her daughter’s name.
The knowledge of the past 11 years, as well as the information about her daughter, had been imprinted into her mind. The silver-haired, red-eyed beauty before her was undeniably her grown daughter.
“Mother…”
Kang Yu-ra called out softly, tears streaming down her face. With the help of her beloved husband, her wish had been granted in a way far better than she had ever hoped.
As Baek Seo-jun watched the touching reunion, his thoughts turned to his own revenge.
‘Now, Baek Seo-jin, enjoy the final moments before your utter destruction.’
Soon, his vengeance would also be complete.
