Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 114: TRAINING
It sounded like battle sounds startling Amelia a bit but she then remembered that she could not be seen by anyone calming her down a little bit, she stood up dusting her butt since she sat on the floor.
After making sure there was no longer any dry leaves on her, Amelia stuck her head out of the tree trying to see what was going on, she saw the woman who had delivered giving some girl with red hair tips on body movement, it looked like they were training for something.
Amelia looked aghast, shocked as to how the little girl resembled Amalia and herself with her red hair and her distinctive green eyes.
"Did you get that? Now try it again." The woman ordered shifting backwards a little distance away from the young child.
The girl stood and started to mutter some words with her eyes closed, and soon her whole body exuded a warm radiant green light the enveloped her, her hair stood up and after what seems like a while, the girl stretched out her hands joining the ends of her palms together and shooting it out at a tree.
At first nothing happened making Amelia who was already eating her fingernails in expectancy drop her hands down disappointed, "Don’t worry maybe next time." The girl’s mother said, Amelia could hear the disappointment in the mother’s voice she could barely his it, the poor girl must have noticed it too because her shoulders dropped even if she did not say anything it was there in her expression.
"Let’s go rest." The mother told the girl, "No need to worry Ophelia you did your best." The mother cooed, Amelia was dumbstruck why was she seeing Ophelia, what does Ophelia had to do with her, or was this her own personally made hell du to the pain she had caused people in her dark days in life.
As soon as Ophelia and her mother left the vicinity that tree came crumbling down, Amelia jumped in shock as her hands flew to her chest, she could not believe that Ophelia at that age was already this strong and meanwhile, she a mere mortal tried to drag her man with her, it was probably a dream that would have ended in death.
Soon enough, the same twirling happened again but it did not really affect Amelia that much because after it happening twice she was already quite used to it, and it did not affect her that much anymore.
This time around, Amelia found her self in a castle made of bricks, it was like a fortress, she was awed at how beautiful everything looked inside the castle, you could feel the elegant aura radiating from within, it was a place for people of high training and morals.
"I can’t believe you said she could bring a tree down." Amelia saw a man talking to Ophelia’s mother, he had the same red hair as Ophelia but his eyes were blue, he was old but had elegance written all over him and a handsome face that was difficult to erase.
"Maybe because it’s her first time?" Ophelia mother said more of a statement than a question, "even if so, she is meant to be the chosen one, the witch that is meant to bring our kind to their former glory and yet she was not able to destroy a tree." Ophelia’s father hissed angrily.
"My love, you know that there are different witches, maybe Ophelia isn’t the kind that destroys things, I would look for a way to teach her all elements and see the place she has a footing in." Ophelia’s mother tried to calm the man down and it worked he sighed and looked at the woman with a gentle gaze, "what will I do without?" He asked caressing her cheeks with love in his eyes, " Make sure to train her and make her the best, we witches and Wizards must once again rise to the top." He added dropping his hands from the woman’s cheek, the light that had originally lit up in her eyes dimmed as she tried to hide it with a soft smile on her face.
Amelia was taken aback that Ophelia’s father only saw her as a tool to make their kind great, it would have been better if it was behind her back and without Ophelia knowing but the little girl figure which hid behind a curtain had tear filled eyes as she struggled against bursting into tears, her tiny little hands were curled up into a fists with a glint of determination and hurt in her eyes.
Amelia felt bad for Ophelia and understood why she had tried to kill her for Damon, maybe she was just like her, they both needed the love of someone, someone they could call their own and nobody else.
Well that someone did come eventually for little Ophelia but she inevitable caused the person to hate her more than anything else unknowingly. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
After hearing what her parents said, little Ophelia went to study, she would spend almost all nights practicing in the woods and all day in the library reading, and at all times, Amelia was by her side even though she could not be seen by Ophelia.
After going into rigorous training, Ophelia at the age of 16 finally became the ideal child her parents wanted her to be, they were elated and did not hold back on showing her off, she had successfully mastered all the elements and they had no other complaints, well they did not but Ophelia’s little sister, Mika did.
Due to the fact that Ophelia was finally as her parents wanted, they showered her with much attention that even Ophelia knew that the day she failed them or fell was the day their love for her would cease to exist, she was using her powers and prowess to buy their love and in return they hardly had time for her little sister, Mika.
Amelia was speechless as she watched Ophelia’s parents unknowingly made enemies in their own house because soon, Mika started showcasing traits of hatred for Ophelia and ended up framing her, this situation took Amelia’s mind back to Amalia’s situation with Marcy, the only difference here was that even if the scenerio that Mika painted to be Ophelia’s fault, their parents would side Ophelia and blame Mika for being careless and disturbing Ophelia for useless things knowing that she had a greater destiny to fulfill.
This in no doubt increased the rivarly and hatred that Mika had against Ophelia but Ophelia was clueless about this fact and did not realize it, inside she tried to train her sister during her free time and wanted her to be the best too.
