Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 113: FAMILIAR
Amelia saw herself as a little child running through the fields with a smile on her face, she looked so happy and fulfilled about her life.
Her joy run continued until an old lady camd out of the farm house not too far from the fields with a frown on her face, Amelia remembered her as the woman that was by her side when she woke up in the hospital.
Immediately she saw the woman, the little girl took to her heels trying to get away from the woman.
Amelia furrowed her brows confused, this girl looked exactly like her when she was a child but this memory was definitely not her’s.
Amelia’s mind suddenly went back to the time that she reincarnated, she had regained Amalia’s memories but not all of them could it be that this was the missing piece.
There was also a possibility that this was real so Amelia marched forward and extended her hand in front of the girl but she was not noticed at all, she then proceeded to walk through the girl and she did, panic was in Amelia’s heart, could it be that she was dead, what about her child, she wondered, as her hands immediately flew to her stomach to feel the baby bump but there was nothing there just her flat tummy.
Before Amelia could have the opportunity to be sorrowful everything started whirling around making Amelia feel dizzy, things turned and turned until the scene finally changed to a different place, it was still in the farm house but inside this time around.
"Am I a weirdo granny?" The little girl asked the old woman with tears in her eyes, her eyes were gleaming and was green in colour, Amelia felt curious as she felt that this could be related to her eyes turning green at the hospital, she scouted closer hoping to hear the granny’s response.
"You are not a werido my child, you are special, let me tell you a story." The old lady said beckoning for little Amalia to come closer, "there was a very beautiful princess but she was a witch, she was beautiful and at the same time ruthless, no one would dare mess with her if they loved their lives because she would always have her revenge, men were to scared to go close to her because of this attribute, no man wants to be dominated by a woman right?" The old lady paused for a bit as of reminiscing about something before continuing.
"Well no man except a prince from a far away land, he too was exactly like the Princess, he was ruthless and cold known for having a heart of stone but when they met they knew they were destined for each other." The old lady stopped, "Granny why did you stop, and what does this have to do with me being weird?" Amalia asked tilting her head to look at her granny wondering what the story had to do with her, Amelia also looked at the granny wondering how this was connected to Amalia’s eyes.
"Hold on little one." The old lady chuckled finding little Amalia’s impatience funny, "The prince fell in love too fast before he could stop himself and as for the princess, he won her over too, they were so much in love with each other but had a problem, they were each from kingdom’s that had been in a cold war for a long time because of an angry witch curse, his people and her’s were unwilling to let them be together but the pulled through together and eventually won the battle for their love, soon, another problem arose, people who had wanted the Prince’s power and affluence kidnapped the princess, they tried to get his weakness through her torturing her day and night." Granny paused as she broke down a bit recollecting something, "Why did she not just tell them everything?" Little Amalia tilted her head confused, she was able to deduce that telling them would stop the torture so why did she not do it.
"She would have my dear, but her love for the prince held her back, the witch decided to kill herself but was still reluctant on parting forever with the prince so she cast a spell on herself, a spell that would cause her to reincarnate into the human world just so that the prince can find her." The old lady explained rubbing little Amalia hair, "they are so stupid." Amalia rolled her eyes while the old lady chuckled, "My dear you are carry the magic of the princess within you now." The old lady said.
Amelia felt like she had just wasted her time to hear the story out because it was nothing but a cock and bull story, she then recollected the dreams she had but soon shook it off, stuff like that cannot be possible in the real world she thought to herself.
No longer interested in their talks, Amelia walked out of the farm house wondering what she should do, she then thought of Damon, "Don’t think of that jerk." Amelia muttered to herself surpressing the pain in her heart.
She closed her eyes and massaged her forehead wondering how she got like this, by the time her hands were down and her eyes opened she saw herself in another place, it was like someone was giving birth there.
Women gathered Infront of a woman who struggled to push out her baby, Amelia felt her heart beating fast watching this as she wondered whether this was a punishment, her hands went to her stomach and an ironic smile came on her face, why a birth place of all places to go, was this a mockery for her that she could never give birth again.
Soon the sounds of a new born was heard and the mother of the child let out a relieved smile before laying her head back down trying to get rest, she had probably used all her energy to push the baby out just now.
The baby was fair and covered in blood then was carried to a bowl filled with water before being washed up.
Amelia looked around her surroundings and discovered that it was a shack made of wood like the place Damon had taken her too at that time, the only difference was that this place was smaller and only a room, Amelia walked out of the shack and decided to just look around when she discovered she was in the middle of a forest, thick tall trees that that were fill with green leaves surrounded her, the sunlight sneaked it’s way through the trees peeking on the earth.
Amelia wondered were this was and then her head started getting fuzzy, some how the place looked all familiar to her but she was pretty much sure she had never been here before if she has she would surely remember being here so what was it.
After finding a tree with huge branches and leaves, Amelia decided to rest underneath it so that the leaves would serve as a shade to her, she did not know how long she stayed there, she might have even probably slept off but what made her stand up was the noise that seemed to be heading towards her direction.
