?"I think he's right, you have to stop fantasizing," he said. f𝔯ee𝘸𝘦𝚋𝒏oѵ𝐞l.c𝒐𝓂

"Why?" Asked Harel.

"Do you care about the ants, or are you going to build a nest for them?"

"No," Harel replied spontaneously. Actually he wanted to say that even the most holy people don't do that.

As he thought that, he realized what Arthur meant, something he of course understood because of the several books he had read, but he had never taken it as something he believed in absolutely.

"Of course, you don't have to take my word for it," Arthur continued again. "After all, I also don't know whether gods exist or not, and if so, what kind of person is he? I don't know if he's as good as people describe him or has some other personality? All I know are powerful beings who can claim to be gods in front of humans. They naturally don't care about human life."

Arthur could tell that because he was one of them. The truth is; he had gone too far from being a mortal. Basically, he can be a god even to mighty beings who are a god to mortals.

However, even someone of his level still looked up, regarding certain existences as gods. Even though he had never seen them before, he knew that they existed, and their realm was truly called the God Realm.

"If the legend is true, then only bad things await us?" Harel wondered.

"Dunno, that's something I want to know too." Arthur stared at the middle east, wondering if the legend was just a fable created by various nonsense or if someone had devised it.

If it was the latter, it was certain that what was waiting for the people there would be bad things.

Of course, Arthur also wondered why the person who designed it only targeted certain nations, what was unique about them? Do they have differences from other humans, such as blood or bodies, or are they the descendants of a certain existence?"

Harel fell silent and showed more doubtful expressions.

"You seem to have changed your mind," Arthur said.

"Would you still accept me if I wanted to follow you, investigate what was hidden behind that story?" he asked.

"Your heart is noble enough, enough for me to consider, but it's still not enough to accept you, I also want someone who is loyal only to me" Arthur replied.

"And you need to know that I don't look at any tribe or nation differently. I could just slaughter anyone who gets in my way, even if it's respectable people though."

"Boy, what's your answer?" Robben asked with a low laugh while aiming the muzzle of his assault rifle at Harel's head. A mercenary like him didn't like someone who was too nationalistic or too fanatical of his own tribe, so he felt a certain pleasure in seeing others change their views.

Unfortunately, Harel seemed like he really was a person who couldn't easily change his views.

"Sigh, I want to just die, it's too embarrassing if I survive while my friends are already dead. However, if you want a recommendation, I can recommend someone who has done quite a bit of research on this, someone who is also not attached to anything."

"Oh, maybe I'll visit that person later!" Arthur pulled out his cell phone and placed it in Harel's hand.

"Please write down the person's name, it's better than I have to remember it."

Harel immediately started typing. He only needed two seconds before returning the phone to Arthur.

The latter glanced at his cellphone screen and then, he pulled the trigger of his pistol.

BANG!

A bullet went straight through Harel's chest, turning him into a corpse instantly.

His death didn't change the expressions of any of the mercenaries including Rose as they were used to human deaths no matter what kind it was. f𝚛e𝚎𝘄𝒆𝚋𝚗𝚘ѵ𝑒𝚕.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"Do the cleaning," Arthur told them all.

After that, he looked at Amanda watching from the bus window, signaling her to get off.

The woman was clearly uneasy. When she got off the bus, she seemed to be straining herself.

Seeing corpses everywhere, her head started to spin.

Arthur sent a beam of light at her which instantly calmed her mind.

"Let's go," he told her.

Since they had come on foot, they naturally returned on foot.

The corpses would be the business of Hunter and the others. If they can't leave without running into the police or other parties, that's also their business.

Arthur and Amanda walked through a completely deserted street. Until he got there, Arthur still didn't speak because he was the type who wouldn't speak in such a case. He doesn't need to explain something for a woman to understand a certain thing about him.

That situation lasted even after they climbed to the highest floor of the hotel.

It's just that, when Arthur wanted to enter his room, Amanda took his hand.

"Sleep in my room," she said in a quick tone before pulling him into her bedroom.

She opened the door and closed it quickly.

Phew!

She sighed before finally looking at Arthur.

"Seems like you don't think too badly of me," Arthur said when he saw she was already smiling.

"I really feel bad, but there's no way I'm leaving my little man," she replied. "Though I doubt if you're really a young man."

"You can see my birthday."

"Humph, numbers can't be used as a reference for someone like you. — And, I think I need to hold off on a gift for you. It doesn't suit my mood right now."

"Then why did you bring me here?"

"Why, don't you want to sleep in the same bed with me?"

"So that's what you want." Arthur smiled. "Yeah, that's no problem!" He then stepped into the bathroom.

Amanda rolled her eyes and snorted softly.

When Arthur entered the bathroom, she took off her jacket and threw it on the sofa.

"Please take a quick bath, I want to take a bath too," she shouted.

After that, she took out her cellphone, leaned against the wall that was close to the bathroom door while playing with her cellphone.

The sound of the shower echoed and she couldn't help glancing at the bathroom door every now and then.

Arthur of course took a quick shower, like most men do.

He came out wearing nightgowns that were already available in the cupboard in the bathroom.

Looking at his young figure with wet hair, Amanda felt that he was still cute even among the youths.
