Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer-Chapter 178: When The Time Is Right
[Valhalla Family’s Estate.]
The grand hall of Valhalla Family’s Estate buzzed with an unusual tension. Amara, hands on her hips, glared at Leyla.
"You! You saw him, why didn’t you drag him here?!" Her voice was sharp, edged with a frantic worry.
Leyla, her voice a barely audible murmur, defended herself. "I can’t make him do what he doesn’t want to."
Ethan took a slow sip of his tea. "Calm down, Amara... The child is correct, none of us can stop Christopher."
Amara let out a shaky exhale, the fight draining from her. "I am just worried," she admitted, her shoulders slumping.
"Yep... We are all worried... But Leyla already explained everything," Ethan stated, his gaze softening slightly as he looked at Leyla.
Katherine moved swiftly to Leyla, wrapping an arm around her sister’s shoulder. "Yes, Mum! Don’t yell for big sister."
"Fine... Fine... It seems I am the only one worried—" Amara began, her voice trailing off as a new voice cut through the air.
"—Why are you worried Mum?"
Amara froze, her entire body stiffening. Everyone present turned their heads, their eyes fixed on the entrance. There, standing tall and serene, was Christopher.
"Big Brother!" Katherine was the first to react, a blur of motion as she rushed towards him, launching herself into his arms.
"Whoa! Slow down!" Christopher chuckled, catching her easily and hugging her back, tightly.
"I missed you! Next time, let me know!" she exclaimed, pulling back just enough to look at him.
"Alright, alright... I will do that," he promised, a warm smile gracing his lips as she finally separated from the hug.
"Yo! Big brother... If you were training, why was your phone down?" Adonis asked, walking towards them, his brow furrowed with curiosity.
"I just discovered the cultivation ground, I didn’t know it blocked my phone signal... I am sorry again for making you all worried," he explained, a genuine remorse in his tone.
"At least you are safe..." Ethan said, finally pushing himself to his feet.
"I wonder why I was worried... With your sky stage beast, nothing can stop you."
With that, he turned and walked towards the stairs.
"I have things to take care of." He disappeared upstairs, leaving a lingering sense of his usual reserved nature.
Christopher nodded, then turned his attention to Amara, who was still facing away from him, her back rigid. With a quick nod to his younger siblings, he walked towards his mother.
"Mum... I am—" he began, but was cut off.
"—Don’t say anything." Amara finally turned, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
She walked towards him, her palm gently caressing his cheek. "You don’t have to say anything... Leyla already explained everything."
A small, tearful chuckle escaped her. "Look at you, so skinny."
She wiped a stray tear.
"Come on... All of you! You need to eat and there is something you all have to know."
Leyla, Adonis, and Katherine exchanged glances, a silent understanding passing between them, and then nodded, following their mother.

The dining room, usually filled with lighthearted chatter, was now steeped in a heavy silence. After their dinner, the four siblings sat with serious expressions, their gazes fixed on Amara, patiently waiting for her to speak...
...Tomorrow loomed, a heated battle awaiting them, and they desperately needed information from someone who had once faced a sky stage beast.
"Ahem."
Amara finally broke the silence, her voice a little shaky but firm. She moved her gaze, sweeping over each of her children, before she began:
"You all heard of the battle against those monsters, the battle I single-handedly fought..."
The four nodded in unison, their eyes wide with anticipation.
"Mum defeated a sky stage beast, alone," Adonis said, a hint of awe in his voice, recalling the legendary tale.
"Actually... I didn’t defeat the sky stage beast," she revealed, her words dropping like stones into the quiet room.
".....?!"
Katherine, Adonis, and Leyla gasped, their expressions shifting from anticipation to utter shock. Christopher, however, remained impassive, his face a mask of calm.
"It seems you figured it out." Amara’s gaze moved to Christopher, a knowing look in her eyes. She continued, "I gambled, by using a powerful skill... The beast got scared and ran back into the cave... I was actually lucky because I was in my last leg..." Her voice grew serious, a tremor of an old fear running through it.
"Something weird happened next... The moment that beast entered the cave, the entrance illuminated a bright red light, and what followed next was the beast’s painful shriek... And then, it got quiet, so quiet that it was creepy, even to me..." She sighed, the memory clearly unsettling.
"Out of curiosity, I went forward only to be thrown back by an unbelievable energy... This energy doesn’t have the signature of a life force... It was just... Different."
"Like an abyss?" Christopher asked, his voice low, his eyes fixed on his mother.
Everyone turned to him, surprised by his insight, while Amara slowly nodded her head.
"Yes... I don’t know how to put it... It’s eerie and also peaceful; whatever released that energy could kill a Sky stage beast in less than one minute..." She turned back to Christopher, her gaze intense.
"I heard something from the cave... It was clear; very clear."
"What is that?" Katherine asked, her voice a whisper.
"When the time is right," Amara stated, repeating the mysterious words.
She turned to Christopher again, a profound wonder in her eyes. "From that encounter, no one... No matter how powerful he or she is, can’t take a step inside that cave. But you did."
All eyes in the room swiveled to Christopher, an unspoken question hanging in the air.
"So Son, what did you find inside?" Amara finally asked, her voice laced with an eager anticipation.
Christopher moved his gaze, meeting the eyes of each person present.
"I saw someone," he said, his voice measured.
"Someone? You mean a beast?" Leyla asked, her brow furrowed in mild confusion.
"I don’t know exactly... The figure is a red werewolf with dragon wings, and his strength is above the immortal level," Christopher explained.
"Above the immortal level? But mum, I thought that’s the highest level a tamer or Awakener can get?" Katherine asked, turning to Amara, clearly bewildered.
"It is... This only means this werewolf isn’t from this world," Amara said, her thoughtful expression deepening.
"Yep... He also said that and his name is Reaper... Oh, and he said his master is the great Supreme King."
Amara’s expression changed subtly, a flicker of something undefinable passing across her face. The four siblings, attuned to their mother, noticed.
"Mum... Do you know something about this person?" Christopher pressed, his voice firm.
Tiamat materialized silently beside him, her eyes also fixed on Amara, awaiting an answer. While Tiamat knew of the Supreme King, she only knew of his immense power, nothing more.
"Wait."
Amara suddenly stood, her chair scraping against the floor. Without another word, she rushed out of the dining room, heading towards the stairs with an unexpected urgency.
".....?!"
The four siblings were even more confused by her sudden departure.

[Three minutes later.]
Amara returned, a huge, ancient book clutched in her hands. Ethan followed closely behind her, his presence a silent support. She dropped the massive tome onto the table with a soft thud.
"Isn’t this the family book?" Adonis asked, his voice laced with surprise. This book was a sacred artifact, rarely seen.
"Yes... No one apart from our family have the right to see this," Amara affirmed, her gaze sweeping over her children before settling on Leyla.
"You are now part of this family, so you now have this privilege."
She slowly opened the huge, old book, her fingers carefully turning the pages, taking care not to damage any part of the delicate, aged paper.
"Got It!" she exclaimed, her finger pointing to a faded picture. It depicted a beautiful lady with flowing golden hair and eyes, surrounded by countless planets, all connected to her by ethereal strings of white light.
"She is known as the Supreme Queen... The Creator of all life, dimension, realities and space... She has the power to control everything and anything thinkable," Amara explained, her voice filled with reverence.
"As the history continues... She went into slumber and the gods she placed in charge became greedy for power, while some fell in the evil path... They started killing her creations, starting from the weakest of all, the humans..." She sighed.
"Some of the gods fought against them, and while the god of the abyssal..."
She moved the pages to another picture, this one of a cloaked man surrounded by swirling darkness:
"...He sacrificed himself just to awaken the Queen from her Slumber... Which worked, the death of such a powerful god woke the Queen, who stopped the bloody war." She sighed again, her expression somber.
"With her creations killed, her powers diminished... The main evil, the Titans thought they won, but the Queen unexpectedly used a powerful skill which trapped them all in the abyss."
Amara’s finger traced the words written below.
"From that day... The Queen started the hunt for a new Ruler... Moving from one galaxy to another, one space to another, one planet to another... Still she stopped on a single planet." Amara paused, her gaze falling on the blank page that followed.
"...?!"
The siblings leaned forward, their eyes widening at the empty space.
"Yes." Amara offered a sad smile.
"This is all the information we have about the Supreme Queen... There is no mention of the red werewolf you see. And for an entity as strong as him... He should be recorded, which only means, the Supreme Queen found her successor, and made him the next Ruler and this werewolf is below this new Ruler."
She looked up at Christopher, her eyes sharp with questions. "Did he say anything?"
Christopher nodded and then recounted everything Reaper had told him, from the very beginning to the end, his voice steady as he shared the tale.
"So he is the first subordinate... This only shows how powerful the new king is... But this origin of darkness who even escaped from such a person." Amara paused, lost in thought, the implications of such a powerful entity weighing heavily on her.
"I won’t say escape, because he knows the origin of darkness is here... We all just need to get stronger so we can withstand the attack coming from that monster," Christopher stated, his gaze sweeping over his family, a quiet determination in his eyes.
"The celestial stage crocodile is also sent by the Origin of darkness, which shows this monster’s power... You all are doing good... But your Beasts are still weak..." He stood up, his posture radiating strength.
"Tomorrow, all of you must stay beside me... No rushing forward, the Commander asked for our help... That didn’t mean they might need it; we are the backup."
The three siblings nodded their heads in understanding, their expressions resolute. Christopher then turned and walked away from the dining room.
"I will be in my room... We have a battle tomorrow," he said, his voice fading as he left.
"Am I the only one who detected it?" Adonis asked, turning to Amara and Ethan, his face filled with surprise.
"Brother is definitely stronger... I just wonder how strong his beasts are." Katherine muttered, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"We will find out, Tomorrow," Leyla muttered, then turned to Amara.
"Master, will you accompany us?"
Before Amara could reply, Ethan interjected, his voice firm and decisive.
"No, she will stay out of this... You all must make her proud." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
The three siblings exchanged determined glances, a silent promise made between them, and nodded.
