REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 72: A HAPPY ENDING
Chapter 72: Chapter 72: A HAPPY ENDING
Today was family day, they were all planning what to do.
Ariana and Adrian looked at Sophia with smiles on their faces.
"She is going to be the most beautiful girl." Ariana said looking at Sophia.
"She is!" He replied.
"Aaron!" Isabelle called running all over, looking for him.
"Are you looking for me princess?" Aaron asked appearing behind her.
"Aaron!" She spun around saying and threw herself in his arms.
Aaron caught her and spun her around.
"You don’t act your age." Aaron said pointing out, which was true.
For most people at Isabelle’s age, they would be mature like she was. The way she spoke, she didn’t speak like her age. At times they wondered where she got that personality of hers. Both Samantha and Derek were introverts and then she came out, an extrovert.
"You want me to act like a child?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
"Sometimes!" He replied.
"I am not a child." She said adamantly.
"Okay, you’re not a child." Aaron said ending the argument.
"Can I see your abs?" Isabelle asked.
"Isabelle mind your manners." Samantha said walking past by.
"But mom, he is my mate, in other words he is mine." She said glaring at her mother.
"Listen to yourself, do you sound like a small girl?" Samantha asked.
"It’s not proper for a woman to act like you." Samantha said for what could be a million time.
Isabelle was not someone that you could tell what to do, she was determined to do the opposite of what you asked her.
"I am not a small girl." She replied back.
Samantha sighed, what was she supposed to do with this child.
"At least think of your mate." Samantha said hinting at Aaron.
Who didn’t know that ’mate’ was Isabelle’s weak point. At such a young when she learned what a mate was, she could not wait to find her own. Using Aaron was the only way to keep her in check, otherwise she would do whatever she wanted and not care about anything.
"Mom, you!" Isabelle said with a shocked expression.
She never knew that her mother would resort to this. She always went after using Aaron’s name when she could not never win an argue with her.
Olivia and Rosemary met downstairs, they had plans to go shopping.
"This is the first shopping we do after that war." Olivia spoke.
"Let’s shop like there is no tomorrow." Rosemary said and they hi-fived each other and went out.
"Forget those two, they will only come back later." Austin said looking at Josh.
"I don’t want to spend a whole day inside the mall." Josh retorted.
"Who will carry the bags?" Olivia asked turning behind to look at the two.
They both groaned at the same time and followed. The thing they wanted to avoid the most found them.
"Be back before sunset." Audrey told them as they were leaving.
"Got it!" The four replied and left.
They had planned to watch the sunset together as a family, apart from the sunset, they were going to lay under the stars and enjoy the moment.
Hunter walked into the hospital holding hands with a small girl. The girl was none other than his daughter with Ava.
She had taken Ava’s looks; she had blond hair which was tied in a ponytail. She had grey eyes that she got from Hunter.
They walked into the room, and she quickly let go of his hand and ran to her mother that laid on the bed. Ava opened her eyes and met her daughter’s own.
"Mommy!" She cried and leaped in hugging Ava.
Ava wrapped her arms around her daughter and tried to calm her down to stop crying.
"I’m fine see!" Ava said showing her daughter.
This was her only reason why she had to beat death and come back. When she thought if she had died, who would have looked after her daughter.
It was only when she was on the brink of death that she could see her past actions, she watched the time Ariana was brutally beaten up for something that she did. She had seen how Ariana tried to tell the father she didn’t do it but would receive more beatings.
Her mother had stood by and watched all without saying anything which was why they started to treat her like that. This was also one of the reasons why she didn’t want her mother to raise her daughter.
Bradley was sitting in the backyard and watched his mate watering flowers. The garden was filled with flowers that Casey was looking after.
"Did you tell your mother?" Casey asked turning to look at him.
"I did, she still doesn’t understand why." Bradley replied.
"I think you can explain it to her. I don’t want her anywhere near my child." Casey said making herslf clear.
"Isn’t that a bit hush?" Bradley asked.
"Harsh?" Casey played the watering pot on the ground and turned to him.
"Did you forget what happened with Ariana. She went ahead and kidnapped an innocent child, it’s like you forgot how stressed they were." She said referring to the time Sophia almost died.
"I don’t think I can trust her to look after my kids, the first Ariana left was not good, the second time she left her daughter was almost dying." Casey said placing her hands on her hips.
Casey walked to him and sat down next to him; she grabbed his face to face her.
"I’m not trying to make you hate your family, I just want to show you what your parents really are." Casey said her eyes looking directly at his.
"I know!" Bradley said in a low whisper.
It was ten minutes before sunset and the four of them walked inside the house with so many bags.
"Who robbed the entire store?" Isabelle came asking seeing all the bags in their hands.
"Isabelle!" Rosemary called out shaking her head.
"I’m just being honest." She replied back.
"Don’t blame for not giving you anything." Ariana said shaking the bags in her hand.
"Don’t mind me, I was just talking nonsense." Isabelle said raising her hands in the sky in surrender, Rosemary saw the action and smiled in victory.
They all gather outside into the field. Avery, Amelia, Morgan, Samantha, Audrey and Ariana stayed back at home, so they were in charge of laying the blankets there.
Everyone chose a spot to sit with their mates. Sophia saw that Dylan was the only person without a partner. She turned to Ariana and saying that she was going to sit with him and keep him company.
"Go!" Ariana encouraged when Sophia would turn her head.
Sophia reached Dylan and quietly sat down next to him. Dylan saw her since the time she had planned on coming to him. Dylan smiled at her, and she smile back at him, Dylan showed her the sky and started to explain the stars to her.
Sophia’s eyes brighten when he was talkinf.
Ariana leaned her head on Adrian’s shoulder, Adrian laid his head on top of hers.
Samantha with a flick of her hand the flowers around bloomed and it was like they were surrounded by a flower meadow. Derek looked her with a smile.
"What?" She asked when she felt his gaze.
"You’re too beautiful!" Derek said and Samantha looked at him shyly.
"Am I only beautiful today?" Samantha asked looking at him.
Derek looked at her and just knew whatever answer he would still be in the wrong.
"Okay, I’ll stop teasing you." She said holing three fingers.
Avey and Tyler sat there in silence. Tyler decided to lay on the ground and placed his hap on top of her lap. Avery looked at the sunset and gently stroked his hair.
Ariana looked at Adrian. "I can’t believe that we actually defeated the army and now we can start our new life." Ariana spoke.
’I didn’t have hope that we would actually win the war." Ariana added.
"I’m happy that you don’t carry ties with your old pack." Adrian spoke.
"I am only communicating with Casey, I don’t reply to the rest of the callers." Adrian replied.
"She told me that she has decided to cut my parents out of her child’s life." Ariana replied.
"Your parents are a disappointment." Adrian spoke.
"You could say that again." Ariana replied.
Rosemary and Austin sat on the blanket staring at the dark sky.
"I’m sure the shopping you did will last you for a lifetime." Austin spoke.
Rosemary turned to look at him as if he was not serious.
"I didn’t even finish doing half of it." Rosemary replied.
"What? You’re not done?" Austin asked sitting up.
"I was thinking of going back there tomorrow." She said referring wanting to go back to the mall and finish the shopping that she could not finish.
Ariana and Adrian watched the way Sophia and Dylan were playing. A smile formed on her lips, her daughter and mate were perfect for each other.
