"Ariana let’s check on Sophia first." Adrian spoke when they reached.

"Call them, I want them to teach him a lesson." Ariana spoke and Adrian nodded.

"She is outside! She is calling you guys. How is she?" He said and rushed to Sophia.

"I gave her my blood, but she needs Ariana’s blood to fully recover." Dylan spoke handing Sophia to him.

"Go and take your revenge on him." Adrian spoke.

"She brought him back, we are going to try and heal, while you guys go and do your thing." Adrian spoke.

They walked out of the door and the sight that fell on them shocked them. Ariana stood there holding Hunter by his neck, her eyes were bright red filled with anger.

"Where is my daughter?" She asked them.

"She is inside; she needs you." Avery replied.

"Rosemary, I want you guys to torture him to the point where he wished he was dead." Ariana said handing Hunter to them and walked into the house.

"Sophia!" She said with worry when she saw her unconscious.

"Come, she needs your blood." Adrian urged for her to come.

Ariana walked to them, she sat down and took Sophia into her arms. She asked Adrian to bring a knife, she wanted to slice her hand.

Adrian handed her the knife and she told him to open her mouth, her hand would heal as soon as she cut it, so she wanted to make it quick.

"Mommy!" Sophia’s voice came out as she slowly opened her eyes.

"I was so scared mommy." Sophia said and wrapped her tiny hands around Ariana’s neck.

"I know baby, I’m sorry you had to go through that." Ariana said to Sophia hugging her even tighter.

"Adrian, I will not forgive them for the pain they have caused my daughter." Ariana said looking up.

"Neither will!" Adrian said and stood up.

Adrian walked outside to the already beaten Hunter; they were now going to use their powers to inflict pain on him.

"Dylan, go back inside." Adrian ordered.

Amelia went to the place where her parents, she took small steps as she saw the place. Although the place had changed over the years, they had turned the place into a resort, but she in her eyes she saw it as it was before.

"This is where they died, my dad had blocked me from the attack, she wrapped his arms around so I would not feel the impact. My mom was distracted when she felt him gone, they chopped her head off in the moment. I watched as her head separated from her body." Amelia said and squatted down.

"I haven’t been back here since their death. It is the reason why every time I am back in the city I lose control." She spoke.

Logan felt sorry for his mate, and he sat down next to her and pulled her into his arms. Amelia placed her head on his shoulder and watched the place in silence.

"I want to take you to the house I grew up in." She said and stood up.

They arrived at the mansion where she grew up, the place still looked beautiful. Even though she didn’t stay in the city, she found someone to look after the place for her.

"This is beautiful." Logan said with a small smile.

Amelia nodded with a smile and went inside. "Mam, welcome back!" The housekeeper greeted.

"Hmm!" Amelia said with a nod.

"Be at ease!" She said to the housekeeper, she nodded and left.

Amelia took Logan’s hand and led him to her old room. She opened the door, apart from it being cleaned regularly, the room was as it was before.

"This is my parents!" She said picking a picture that was on the nightstand.

Amelia showed Logan around the room. Logan watched her introduce one thing at the time.

Amelia sat on her bed.

"I feel better than before." She said softly.

Back in the pack, Hunter lay there after they finished, his body was covered in so many wounds. Dylan walked towards Ariana and Sophia, Sophia’s eyes met his own and he soon rushed to his mate.

"Sophia!" Dylan called out and knelt before her.

Dylan was more than happy to see his mat return to him. He could not describe the pain he felt when he thought that she had died.

Dylan picked her up and hugged her, he burrying his head in her neck.

"I will go and demand explanation from that woman." Ariana said referring to her mother.

To that woman, from the moment that she helped Hunter into taking her daughter she had decided to cut ties with her.

"Go, we will be waiting for you." Dylan spoke and it was the time that Ariana saw the suitcases that were in the living room.

"Okay, I’ll be done in ten minutes." Ariana said and left.

Ariana walked to her mother’s door and knocked. When her mother opened the door, she held a shocked expression.

"Ariana!" She called out in shock.

Ariana just stared at her without response and pushed her aside and walked in. All these days that she had seen her daughter today was the toughest one.

Ariana walked in and sat down, her mother walked slowly inside, and Ariana motioned for her t sit across her. Her mother sat down, and Ariana turned to look at her.

"Why?" Ariana asked in a whisper.

"What?" The mother asked trying to act confused.

"Why did you have to involve my child’s life into this?" Ariana asked with a shout.

Her mother looked guilty, but then she took a deep breath and turned to look at her.

"Ariana, you didn’t want to return to the pack. You left me with no choice but to do that." She said trying to justify herself.

"The pack really needs their luna." She added.

"I am not their luna, when Hunter rejected me, and I left. I broke all ties that connected me with this pack. Ava is their luna, they always wanted her to be their luna and they got her. I just don’t understand why you would call yourself my mother and turn around to stab in the back like this." Ariana said with grievance.

Although she tried not to care, but this was her mother. She is the one woman whom Ariana wanted love from so badly.

"When I came back to this pack, did I do anything to harm anyone, but this pack has never changed, you resorted into kidnapping my daughter into forcing me to submit to Hunter." Ariana looked at her dead in the eye,

"This pack acts like I owe them, but what about what you guys owe me? Did I ever try to make anyone pay for the pain that you all put me through, I was just six years old when father tied me up and had me beaten up. You always act like I never existed, like I was not your child, but how come when I left you all started acting like I was one of you?" Ariana asked.

"After today I realized one thing, I was nothing to you guys but a source of means in getting this pack to be stronger. If ever you try to come near me, then don’t blame for being ruthless, after all I have more ways to make sure you die a miserable death." Ariana left before she could say anything, all she heard was the door closing behind her.

Ariana returned to the place where Hunter was busy begging for mercy. Other pack members looked on, but they couldn’t do anything.

"Ariana!" Hunter pleaded with his eyes.

"I know I was wrong, please tell them to stop." Hunter said, he was in so much pain.

They took turn in torturing him, they would leave him for a while, and when his wound heals, they would start again.

"They did their part; I haven’t started on my part." Ariana said grabbing his chin.

"What should I use?" She asked one hand playing with the fire and the other hand playing with ice.

"Why didn’t it work?" Hunter struggled to ask.

Ariana looked at him and knew he was referring to the hypnosis he had tried to do on her.

"I have a mate whom I love with all my heart, what made you think that the hypnosis would work on me?" She asked and brought the fire close to his leg.

"Ahhh!" Hunter screamed in pain when Ariana created a ice and stabbed him with it.

Ariana tortured him to the point he collapsed. Ava arrived at the scene and when she saw Hunter in that situation, she rushed over.

"Why would you do that? Aren’t you breaking the rule?" Ava asked rushing to help Hunter up.

"Breaking a rule? I think you know very well who broke the rule first. Take your pathetic mate before I kill him." Ariana shouted.

They got into their cars and Ariana and Sophia sat in the back seat.
