REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 67: BREAK YOUR BOND WITH HIM

They arrived at the place and Casey turned to Bradley.

"After today, I hope you can keep your family away from her." She spoke referring to Ariana.

"Don’t worry, after today. We are going back to our place." Adrian said in terms that after today they would leave the pack without completing the training and go back to their place.

"Casey, I didn’t know that my mother would do this." He tried to defend himself.

"Bradley, your parents have always been like this. They made it clear that that they never wanted her in the first place, when she found a family that loves her and is willing to protect, they can’t stand it. I will not have those people in my child’s life." She said touching her belly.

"Okay!" He said nodding his head.

"Stay behind, I don’t want anything to happen to you." He said patting her head.

Casey nodded, they all nodded at each other one last time and entered the place. It was like as Casey said, when they stepped in, they could feel their strength weakening. It was like they were humans.

"Ariana!" Adrian shouted when he saw her.

"Oh, look your little lover is here." Hunter said laughing like a maniac.

"Hunter, you need to stop this." Bradley tried to talk sense into him, but Hunter acted like Bradey was not there at all.

"How long have I’ve been apologizing to you, if you had accepted my apology, this would not have happened." Hunter said looking at Ariana.

"You all came here to die; in this place you are as useless as a human." Hunter said in mocking.

"If they both die, you have no choice but to come back to me." Hunter said pointing at Sophia and Adrian.

Back at the council, Amelia received a call and looked at Bennet coldly.

"Great! I didn’t know that werewolves are so lawless, using an innocent child." She said with a piercing gaze.

"What do you mean by that?" Bennet asked.

Since the last time when Amelia almost exposed him, he had been more respectful than he was before. He didn’t want anyone to know that he envied vampires for their powers, how would he be able to hold his head if people found out that he brought that policy of no wolves having powers due his jealousy.

"One of your alphas decided to abduct my niece, you know very well we don’t play when it concerns our families." Amelia spoke, everyone knew that to vampires, family was everything to them.

"You mean?" He asked.

"Yes, my sister-in-law was once a werewolf, but you guys treated her worse than an enemy. We found her when she was about to die, she is my brother in law’s mate, so she became a vampire like us. She only went back to that pack as a part of the mission but now your alpha." Amelia spoke.

"Is she?" Bennet asked.

"Yes!" Logan replied.

Bennet felt a cold sweat drip from him, he knew she was the girl that was born with powers, but because of his policy, the pack had been scared and decided to use that power to make their pack strong.

It was two years ago when the pack started declining that he asked, and they told him she had run away. He didn’t know that she went and became one of them, he wanted to show his disdain but when he met their gaze he fixed his facial expression.

"Mom, Sophia was taken." Loga turned and told his mother.

"What!" Audrey shouted standing up.

"Derek said after they rescue them, they are leaving the pack." Logan said to his mother.

"Leave? But the training is not complete." Bennet asked in panic.

"Whose fault is that?" Travis spoke for the first time.

"She is his mate, so what is wrong with him wanting to take her back?" Bennet tried to argue.

If Ariana could go back to the werewolves, they would find a way to extort her energy in improving the werewolf community. Bennet deep down hoped that Hunter would succeed but, on the surface, he took out his phone and dialed the pack.

He decided to call one of the elders.

"What is this am I hearing about the alpha abducting a vampire kid?" He asked.

"We are trying to get to the bottom of it." The elder replied on the phone.

"Try to stop him!" He said leaving the room.

When he was at a further distance. "Make sure she comes back." He whispered in a low voice.

"Your majesty!" The elder was confused.

"I was in the room just now. Make sure she comes back to the pack, I heard her energy source is really powerful, we can use her to grow the werewolf, by then we wouldn’t have to follow whatever these bloodsuckers are saying." Bennet said.

"But she is not a werewolf anymore." The elder said. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"Doesn’t matter now, we will try to make her one again later, but for now she has to come back." He said and hung up the phone.

He had an evil smirk on his face. Once she was back to the werewolves, they would use her energy source to become stronger, then they would not have to tiptoe around the vampires any longer.

He walked back into the room and when he met Amelia’s gaze, his feet froze in one place. ’Does she know?’ He thought to himself.

"Mom, let’s go!" Amelia said standing up.

They left the room, when they got outside Amelia turned to them. "Mom, dad you guys go ahead, I’m going to try and overcome this." She said referring to the city and the memories.

"Ariana, you have to break your bond with him." Hunter said.

"There is no way for vampires to break their mating bond." Ariana said.

They tried to approach him, but he rushed and held Sophia by her neck with the knife.

"Any step closer and I’ll hand you, her corpse." He said seriously.

"Damn you!" Dylan shouted in anger.

"Oh, look it seems like she is your mate." Hunter mocked.

"Ariana, you will have to come back to me." He said all smiles gone.

"Fine! I give up." She said and Adrian was shocked.

"Find the time to take the knife from him." Ariana said through their link.

"Ariana!" Adrian acted to stop her.

"Pick that rope and tie up her hands." Hunter said motioning for the rope that was on the ground.

Rosemary went and picked up the rope and tied her hands. Hunter told Ariana to walk towards him, she did as he said and when she was next to him.

Hunter smiled and stabbed Sophia with the knife.

"Sophia!" Adrian, Ariana and Dylan shouted when they saw Sophia close her small eyes.

Dylan ran and took her body; he tried to stop the blood coming out.

"Dylan get her out of here." Ariana said with tears in her eyes.

"Go and save my daughter." Ariana said to the rest of them, they left the place. Hunter grabbed her by the waist and jumped from the cliff.

"Ariana!" Adrian shouted and went to jump after them.

"You’re useless!" Adrian said turning to Bradley.

"I’m sorry, but there was nothing I could do. When the alpha gives out an order, the body has nothing to do but to obey." Bradley said apologetically.

"Where does this cliff lead to?" Adrian asked.

Under the cliff was a water fall that was hypnotic.

"There is a waterfall, it is very hypnotic, I think he is going to try and hypnotize her into going back to him." Bradley explained.

"What!" Adrian screamed and jumped down.

Bradley watched and shook his head. He said he wanted to be her brother again, but when she was in danger there was nothing, he could do except to just stand there and watch.

Dylan and the other reached outside the place and Dylan sat on the ground with Sophia in his arms.

"Why is the bleeding not stopping?" Dylan asked seeing Sophia’s skin start to turn greyish.

"Take this, it should remove the effect of that place." Casey said handing them some plant to eat.

When vampires stepped a foot into that place the longer you stayed in, the longer it would take for the effect to wear off. The plant was known to reduce the effect quicker.

"It will take five minutes for all the effect to wear off." Casey said and urged them to eat it immediately.

"Where is Ariana?" Casey turned and asked Bradley.

"Hunter jumped off the cliff into the waterfall with her." Bradley replied.

"Has he lost his mind?" Casey shouted in anger.

"Does he think by doing that she is going to come back to him. Doesn’t he know that it would not work if she were already in love with someone else?" Casey asked, she was amazed at his stupidity.

When Ariana was his mate he treated her like trash, when she left him and found someone better, he could not handle it.
