Ariana and Adrian went back to the pack house.

"It seems like everyone is out." Adrian said looking at the empty house.

"When are the warlock arriving?" Ariana asked.

"I think they will arrive in the evening." Adrian replied.

They walked hand in hand up the stairs to their room.

"Did you really have to come back?" Ariana heard Ava’s voice from behind.

"I am not back; I’m here on business." Ariana replied coldly.

"Why now? Hunter and I were doing fine. Are you back for him?" Ava asked with anger.

"Back for who?" Ariana mocked.

"Do I look the same as the girl you used to know?" Ariana asked.

"Keep that trash to yourself." Ariana added and she and Adrian went to the room they were assigned to.

"Badass!" He said smirking.

"Not disappointed?" She asked.

"Never!" Adrian said and dipped his head and pecked her lips.

Samantha looked at Derek and suggested they take a walk to familiarize themselves with the environment.

Derek looked at his mate. "Do you want to take Isabelle with you?" Derek asked.

"I asked her, but she said being a third wheel is not on her agenda." She replied.

"Third wheel?" Derek asked with a puzzled expression.

They were her parents, why did she see it as her being a third wheel and not her spending time with them.

"But she is right somewhere." Samantha said turning to him.

"OH!" He said when he saw the playfulness in her eyes.

"Let’s go!" He said grabbbing her hand.

"I want to check the mall and see what they have." Rosemary told Austin who shook his head.

"Rosy, why not go with Olivia you both love shopping." He said trying to escape.

"You like shoes, she likes clothes which is perfect then you guys can style each other." He persuaded.

"You...you!" She stammered.

"The moment we left, you don’t want to spend time with me?" She said in grievance.

"It’s not like that." He tried to speak to her, but she gave him her back.

"Okay!" He said giving up.

"Okay what?" She asked peeking at him.

"Okay, I’ll go with you." Austin replied.

Rosemary smiled and jumped on him. "I know you love me." She said kissing all over his face.

"Yes, but this is too much." Austin said trying to push her off.

Rosemary would barge, when she felt like she was good she got down from him. They left their room and walked down the stairs, they met Josh and Olivia at the bottom.

"Are you guys going somewhere?" Austin asked when they reached the bottom.

"Mall! You?" Josh asked back.

"Mall!" Austin replied rolling his eyes.

"Yes!" Olivia and Rosemary screamed at the same time like high school kids.

Whenever Rosemary and Olivia spent time together, you would think it was two toddlers together.

"Can you two please act your age?" Josh said folding his hands in front of them.

"You wish!" Olivia and Rosemary said together and flipped their hair at him even more childish.

"Leave them!" Austin looking at the locking their arms together.

"This is shame." Josh said, but a small smile appeared on his lips.

Austin and Josh trailed behind the two.

"We didn’t ask Isabelle if she want to join." Olivia remembered and they stopped in their tracks.

"I’ll text her." Rosemary said and took her phone and sent a text to her.

"She said she is coming." Rosemary said when she saw Isabelle’s text.

"Do we still have to come with you guys?" Josh asked wishfully.

"Who is going to carry all those bags?" Rosemary retorted with her hand on her waist.

"Thank God you guys texted. I was about to die of boredom." Isabelle said coming out.

"Where’s your parents?" Olivia asked.

"They went for a walk; they wanted me to be a third wheel." She replied.

At the same time, Dylan came out as well holding Sophia’s tiny hand as he led her.

"Auntie!" Sophia shouted and ran towards them.

"I hope that ’auntie’ doesn’t apply to me." Isabelle said looking at Sophia.

Sophia ran towards them and ran straight to Rosemary. Rosemary opened her arms to pick her up.

"Sophia, do you want to buy news clothes?" Olivia leaned in and asked.

Sophia nodded giggling.

"I guess Dylan is coming as well, so now, you have enough company." Rosemary said turning to Austin.

The seven of them took two cars. Josh, Olivia and Isabelle rode in one car. Austin, Rosemary rode in their car with Dylan and Sophia.

The whole way to the mall, Sophia kept talking to Dylan about random things, Dylan didn’t mind and would answer her time to time.

"They’re cute right?" Rosemary asked, peeking at them.

Austin nodded and focused on the road.

Hunter went to his parents’ house and knocked.

"Baby, you’re here?" His mother asked when she opened the door.

"Is something wrong?" She asked when he entered the house.

"Mom, she’s back!" He said sitting down.

"Who? Who is back?" She asked again.

"Ariana, she came with the vampires today." He replied and clenched his fist when he remembered Adrian’s face.

"Ariana?" She asked her eyes widening in shock.

She felt nervous all the sudden, as much as she wanted for Hunter to reunite with Ariana, she was worried why she came with the vampires.

"Why would she come with them?" His mother asked.

"She won’t tell me. Mom, she won’t even let me near her, how are we supposed to be together now." He spoke.

"Hunter sweetie, she’ll know you feel bad and give you another chance." She said lifting up his hope.

Hunter and his mother talked about getting Ariana back in the pack. There were two reasons, one was for him, the other reason was that if she joined their pack again, they would be able to become strong again.

All Hunter needed now was an opportunity to be able to talk to her. She had always been soft, so he was sure that she would take him back.

"Son, it’s good that you want to take your true mate back, but what about Ava and your daughter?" She asked him.

’Mom, I don’t want to think about that right now. Right now, my main goal is to make Ariana to come back to me." He said determined.

Hunter left his mother’s house and went back to the pack house; he was hoping that he would see Ariana. To his luck, he arrived at the same time Ariana stepped out of the house.

"Casey!" Ariana called her out and came down.

"Ariana!" Casey said interlocking their hands together.

"Casey, can I talk with Ariana for a minute?" He asked approaching them.

"Alpha!" Casey called out respectfully.

"There is nothing to talk about with you." She said turning to leave.

"Ariana please!" Hunter begged grabbing her hand, to stop her.

Ariana looked at where his hand was holding hers.

"Let go, before I break your arm." She warned coldly.

"Ariana, please let me explain." He tried to plead, but she didn’t want to hear anything from him.

She used force and yank his hand off her, then patted the spot where he had touched her as if there were germs there.

Hunter was shocked at her strength when she yanked his arm. He rubbed the spot where she grabbed his hand.

"Ariana!" He called out, but she ignored him and turned to Casey.

"Let’s go." Ariana said with a small smile.

Ariana and Casey went to cafe, they sat down and Casey asked her.

"Are you one of them now?" She asked.

"Yes!" Ariana replied nodding.

"What happened? I never thought you could." Casey said honestly.

"The night that I left, I was attacked by rogues. I was about to die when he they found me. I lost the baby as well." She said looking at her hands.

"I was waiting for death, he appeared and called me his mate, which I didn’t understand since you know Hunter was my mate but then rejected me. Scar identified and told me the true reason why they had to make sure to keep me weak." She paused lifting her head.

"Scar died after telling me to give him a chance and be happy with him. I was weak so all I could do that time was to nod and he turned me." She paused again.

"It took three days for me to wake up again, due to all the injuries." Ariana spoke lifting her sleeve to show her where the perfect clear white skin where the scars

"Wow, you went through a lot." Casey said shocked.

"It took time, but I would never leave them for anything. They showed me what parent love truly is, the showed me what a brother’s job is. They showed me what older sisters do for their younger sisters. I got a whole new family, and I love them so much." Ariana spoke with a warm smile on her face.

"Their world is different, but it better than this one. With vampires you don’t have to be afraid if you have powers, almost everyone there has." Ariana said.
