REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 34: FALSE PREGNANCY

Hunter came back from his meeting and when he entered the room, Ava sat on the corner of the bed with a pregnancy stick in her hands.

"What’s this?" He asked upon seeing the stick in her hands.

"Nothing!" She said and stood up and threw it in the dustbin.

Hunter walked to the dustbin and picked the pregnancy stick out. He looked at it and saw that it was negative.

"What’s going on?" He asked turning to look at her.

"I was feeling a bit dizzy, so I took it." She replied.

"I thought I was pregnant, but as you can see, I am not." She said feeling annoyed.

Ever since Ariana left Hunter had always been in the bad mood, he wouldn’t touch her anymore. Whenever she tried to initiate it, he would give an excuse of being tired and just brush her off.

"Why are you treating me like this Hunter?" She asked when she saw him turning to leave.

"Ava, I don’t have time for this." He spoke sighing.

"You don’t have time for this, or you don’t have time for me?" She asked blocking his way.

"This is not the time, and you know it." He said trying to push her aside.

"When is the best time then?" She questioned.

"I don’t know, but certainly not now." He replied.

"Were you relieved to see that the pregnancy test was false?" She asked in anger.

"Ava, it’s not the best time to have a child now." He replied.

"Why? Because I am not Ariana. Are you hoping that we don’t have any children so that when she comes back, you can rekindle your love." She asked looking directly into his eyes.

"Ava please!" He said running his hands through his hair.

"No! Hunter, we rejected our own mates and chose this so you cannot just switch now that it is working for you." She said which made him feel a bit guilty.

That was Hunter’s biggest regret, he had rejected Ariana and her sister as his mate. Now he was hanging on to the hope that the child in her womb would bring them closer.

"Ava please get out of my way." He said calmly, but she would not budge.

Hunter pushed her aside and walked out of the room. Ava watched Hunter bang the door after him.

"This is nice." Amelia said playing with the water.

Ariana, Olivia and Rosemary were in the pool, while Amelia and Samatha sat on the edge of the pool with the feet inside the water. Avery was laying on the sunlounge with sunglasses covering her eyes, enjoying the sun.

Morgan came with a tray, on the tray was the blood cocktail she made.

"What is that?" Ariana asked looking at the glasses.

"That is her famous blood cocktail." Samatha said taking a glass.

"Thanks!" Samatha spoke.

"Thanks!" The girls said all each taking a glass.

"Are you going to join us?" Rosemary asked.

"Yeah!" Morgan replied taking the off her shirt revealing her bikini.

She jumped into the water making sure to splash water on Samatha and Amelia.

"This is really good!" Ariana said taking a sip.

"It has to be, she runs a bar." Olivia replied.

"You run a bar?" Ariana asked in shock.

"Yes! It’s normally for our kind." Morgan spoke.

"After all we can’t go to the humans’ bar." She added.

"How did you open your own bar." Ariana asked.

"I was bored and was just playing with the ice cubes, I ended up creating blood cocktails." She replied.

"Let’s race!" She said and took off.

"Hey!" The girls called out, following her.

"Sam, you’re very quiet." Amelia said looking at her.

"I am always quiet." Samatha replied.

"Did you talk to Derek?" Amelia asked referring to the child,

"Yeah, he said there’s no rush." Samatha replied.

"That’s true after all your parents have a lot of kids." Amelia said laughing.

"We should all have kids at the same time so they can be friends." Samatha said thinking of how it would be.

While the two were having a serious conversation, they looked at the other four who were now playing tags in the water like kids.

Casey and Bradley decided to go out and have a picnic.

"Do you think that she’ll come back?" Bradley asked referring to Ariana.

"I don’t think so!" Casey replied looking at the bright sky.

"I’m sure she must be free wherever she is." Casey added.

"Thank you for giving me another chance." He said taking her hand and placed a kiss unto it.

"Yeah, but don’t make me regret it." She said staring at him.

He moved closer and kissed her cheek. "Never!" He whispered.

Bradley was just happy that she decided to give him a chance, despite everything that he and his friends did to her in the past. He stared at her and couldn’t help falling more in love with her.

Casey on the other hand looked at him, he was her bully growing up now he ended up being her mate. He also happened to be her best friend’s brother who treated her best friend like trash.

"I am happy just thinking that you decided to change for me." She said kissing his cheek.

He smiled and kissed her lips. He pulled out but then kissed her again, she grabbed the back of his neck pulling him closer. He bit her lips and pulled them with his teeth before thrusting his tongue inside her mouth.

"Bradley!" She moaned as his lips found her neck.

She pulled his head back and kissed him "Maek me!" She said pulling out of the kiss.

"Are you sure?" He asked cupping her face in his palms.

Casey nodded and Bradley started kissing her neck, when he found the spot, he bit down. "Mark me as well!" He said showing her his neck.
