Chapter 612: Chapter 314: Candles Are Not Just for Light

Shami and Purple Hair strolled through the latter half of the night market. ๐™›๐’“๐’†๐™š๐’˜๐’†๐“ซ๐™ฃ๐“ธ๐™ซ๐“ฎ๐’.๐’„๐’๐“ถ

Although the girl beside him kept changing, Shami had gotten used to it.

As long as theyโ€™re a Demon Envoy, there shouldnโ€™t be any issue, right?

"A ghost house?"

Soon enough, the two of them saw a group of surprised skeletons running out from inside a ghost house, and Purple Hair enthusiastically led Shami over.

This was a ghost house run by the Ghost Race. Out front, Video Tape Ghost Stacy was selling tickets.

"Why are skeletons getting scared? Theyโ€™re supposed to be the scary ones, right?"

Stacy greeted the pair.

"Master Shami, Miss Elze, would you like to give it a try? There are fear challenges tailored for various supernatural beings inside." Stacy said with a smile.

Another group of supernatural beings emerged from the exit, including Minotaurs clinging to each other in fear, goblins, and more.

One or two white Spiritual Energies floated above their heads, which a standby ghost slowly collected.

"I didnโ€™t expect the Ghost Race to achieve self-sufficiency in Spiritual Energy from within the demon community like this."

Shami remarked.

"For ghosts, the Spiritual Energy they obtain from supernatural beings is far from enough. Most of the time, they still need to get it from humans."

Stacy explained.

Purple Hair could hardly wait to drag Shami into the ghost house.

The dark and slightly narrow passage was a common feature of every ghost house, with various ghosts jumping out from the shadows now and then, causing shrieks from the visitors.

Purple Hair clung tightly to Shamiโ€™s arm, her little face nervously glancing around.

"Shami, Iโ€™m scared..."

Shami glanced at his own legs. The plump, large tail of the Dragon Race Maiden had already wound around his waist and twisted between his legs, with the tip extending out in front.

This resulted in the odd shadow cast on the wall by a luminous Magic Stone, making Shami inexplicably seem armed.

Clearly, she wasnโ€™t scared; she was craving his body!

"How could Elze, who operates a maze like a ghost house in human cities, be afraid of this kind of thing?"

Shami quipped.

But logical reasoning couldnโ€™t deter the Dragon Race Maidenโ€™s desire to take advantage.

If Lina could take advantage of Shami, why couldnโ€™t she? After all, theyโ€™re both Demon Envoys, right?

As the two continued walking, the passage grew even dimmer.

"Itโ€™s so dark."

The Dragon Race Maiden muttered, then took a candle out of her Storage Ring and lit it. The candleโ€™s light became a small light source enveloping their faces in a soft glow.

"Your Storage Ring can even hold something like this."

Shami murmured, feeling like something was off.

"Of course. Itโ€™s wise to be prepared with a bit of everything, just in case. Candles are greatโ€”they provide light and have many other uses..."

The Dragon Race Maiden handed the candle to Shami. Not long after he took it, a drop of wax slid down the candle, landing on the dragon tail coiling around his legs.

The dragon tail squeezed tightly around Shamiโ€™s legs, and simultaneously, both he and the Dragon Race Maiden made a sound.

"Shami, you dripped it on my tail. Itโ€™s hot..."

The Dragon Race Maiden glared playfully at Shami.

Shami reached out to touch the dragon tail, wiping off the wax from the dragon scales.

"Sorry."

Shami apologized meekly, feeling the scene was a bit risquรฉ, and his eyes darted away.

The Dragon Race Maiden smirked sneakily at Shamiโ€™s expression.

Gotcha!

If you think a candle is just for lighting, youโ€™re gravely mistaken!

The Dragon Race Maiden grabbed Shamiโ€™s hand, drawing her face closer to his.

"But, since Shami wants to play dripping โ—‹ PLAY in such a place, thereโ€™s nothing I can do. A weak girl has no ability to resist in a closed room, after all."

"?"

The Dragon Race Maiden said this, and with a forceful pull of her dragon tail, she drew Shami to the side of the passage, nestling herself against his chest with her body pressed to the wall.

Itโ€™s actually he who has no ability to resist.

Shami hurriedly replied, "Elze, this is an open ghost house; all sorts of beings will pass by."

"Donโ€™t worry."

The scales on the Dragon Race Maidenโ€™s tail subtly quivered. In the next moment, her tail blended into the surroundings, and Shami, with the transformation of the Dragon Race Maiden and her tail, also blended into the ghost house environment.

"This is the chameleon ability. It allows anyone you touch to change color and blend into the surroundings."

Shami assessed himself, then glanced at the Dragon Race Maiden close by.

Indeed, the demon king had changed color in two ways.

The Dragon Race Maiden gently leaned forward, revealing a deep abyss at the neckline of her garment.

Her lips slightly parted, and warm breath caressed Shamiโ€™s face.

"Tail, thigh, here. Shami can choose where you want to drip โ—‹, okay?"

In the candlelight, the Dragon Race Maidenโ€™s face was flushed with a charming allure, her eyes full of anticipation.

"While weโ€™re in invisibility, as long as we donโ€™t make too much noise, no one will know, no matter what we do."

The Dragon Race Maiden whispered softly.

Looking at the well-meaning Dragon Race Maiden, Shami hesitated for a moment, glancing at the abyss, then back at the candle.

Ultimately, curiosity overcame his hesitation.

The Dragon Race Maiden assumed a pose suggesting she was at his mercy, and Shami picked up the candle in his hand, moving it towards the Dragon Race Maidenโ€™s body.

As the candle burned, a drop of wax slowly formed above the abyss, silently falling into it.
