Reincarnated as the Baron's son: My Infinite Card Upgrade System-Chapter 64: The one who once hated.
"What did you want to speak to me about?" asked the armored maiden.
Alaric, still a bit confused as to why she would decide to show up in his room in knight armor of all things, kept nodding his head in disappointment.
It only reminded him of a time he had to go to a sleepover with his friends back in his former world. To his surprise, girls showed up and were going to join them.
They each took different rooms, sharing the ladies equally. While everyone had a woman dressed in attractive dresses, the woman who was with Alaric wore a fully covered gown, even wearing a veil to cover her face.
It wasn’t until later that night that she revealed she was scared of men and couldn’t stay too close to one, fearing being used.
’Is she feeling the same way?’ Alaric thought to himself as he stared at the girl.
"Are you scared of me?" he asked without any hesitation.
"Why do you ask?" At this point, Sima could be seen glaring from the metal helmet.
"I’m simply curious..."
"I am not afraid, especially not of you."
Alaric glared at the armor she had on.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am."
"Okay then..." He leaned forward. "I should ask you, why do you dislike me?"
Alaric noticed the change in expression as soon as he asked, as if she was surprised he noticed.
"I don’t understand what you mean. I don’t dislike you."
"You say this, and yet, your eyes send a different message. Did my people offend you once before? Perhaps that is why you feel I would do the same."
"..."
Her silence told him everything he needed to know.
"So that’s it." Alaric smiled a bit. "Now I’m curious, what did we do to you?"
She looked to the side.
"Sima. Believe me or not, I’m trying to build a good relationship with you. I can’t do that if you won’t let me."
"Build a relationship? How? You’re a man," she said, carrying enough spite to drown a ship. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Alaric was a bit taken aback by it, his eyes lingering on her lips for a while.
"What do you mean?" he asked, but once again, he was met with silence from Sima.
That was until he read her mind.
(I hate you. I hate you men!)
Her voice echoed in his mind.
’Oh, now I get it. She’s one of those.’ Alaric gave a gentle smile.
"I don’t know what happened to you in your past. And I’d be lying if I said I fully understood it. I don’t. That said, even if a thousand men walked this earth, I will always be different," Alaric said, his hand lingering on his chest.
Sima, carrying the same emotionless expression, didn’t feel the least bit impressed by him.
Alaric didn’t mind.
He already had a way to make her completely let go of her hatred for men. No, hatred for him.
Standing to his feet, he looked her in the eye. "I can wash all your anger away, only and only if you give me the chance."
"Was that what you wanted to talk about?" Sima asked, remembering the initial reason she was even in his room.
"And more... so much more. I don’t want you to keep looking at me with so much hatred in your eyes..." Alaric slightly raised her jaw with his finger.
Sima immediately wanted to smack his hand away, regardless of whatever consequences she faced.
Yet, her body was reacting to every touch.
She felt the heat building up from inside her, something she had never felt before.
Normally, there was no man in the whole of Vardenis who could touch her without losing their limbs, other than Velmo. And now, somehow, Alaric was doing the same thing, something many would do and end up limbless.
"Instead, I want you to look at me as your equal, someone you can be comfortable around. Someone you wouldn’t mind resting on, someone... you can turn to without any worry in the world. Let me be that for you..."
Every single word that left Alaric’s mouth was met with a reaction from Sima. She couldn’t help it, especially the more she locked eyes with the young Baron.
Her cheeks turned beet red, her forehead sweating, lips shivering, and lastly, her pink second lips purred as if begging for Alaric to service them.
"What is it? You seem confused," Alaric smiled, his face now close to the helmet.
"Don’t come any closer... I... I mean it." Sima finally managed to speak, using the last of her will to push Alaric away.
She stood up almost immediately, hardening her blushing face before walking out of the room.
After she was gone, Alaric carefully sat at the edge of the bed, his fingers running through his hair.
He took a second to look down, only to see that his dick was erect. Meaning, the little second he used to move closer to Sima had made him hard.
"There’s no way I’m letting her go like this..." Alaric said out loud.
Standing to his feet, he was about to try and get Sima to come back when he got a sudden knock on the door.
"Come in?" he replied without checking who it was.
As the door opened, Sima walked in, having an innocent expression as she closed the door behind her.
Alaric noticed two things.
One, she was no longer wearing the helmet that came along with the knight armor. And two, her once lifeless eyes now held a bit of light.
"Sima, you came back," said Alaric.
"Uhm. It’s not what you’re thinking. It’s just... I ah..." Sima kept looking around, unable to make eye contact.
Not even a few minutes after she barged out of the room, Sima began to feel some kind of way.
It was a new feeling, something she had never felt before.
Her skin became more sensitive, her breath heated as if she held the ability to spit fire. But the worst of all was the fact that every time she closed her eyes, she would always see Alaric, shirtless in a sexy position.
She couldn’t help it. Sima needed to come back and see him.
Her body was most definitely betraying her.
"W...hat... did you do to me?" she managed to ask out loud.
Alaric smiled, taking a few steps closer.
"Is that to say you are feeling some kind of way?" He made sure his words were slow as his eyes lingered on her.
’What’s wrong with me? Why does this man... affect me so much?~’ Sima was afraid to speak. She felt if she did, she could end up begging him to molest her in that very moment.
The way he walked, the way he spoke, his neck, how manly his biceps were—every single detail about Alaric was a huge turn-on for her.
’I shouldn’t be feeling this way. He is a man. They are nothing but corrupt creatures that should be wiped off the face of the earth. They only know to destroy and steal.’
She kept trying to convince herself.
But the moment Alaric placed his hand on her cheek, she felt every single hate she tried to pump out fade away like a mist.
He only mattered.
Her cheeks grew even redder, her mouth opened in such a way one could easily tell she was panicking.
Which was understandable since, since the moment she was born, Sima had never felt the touch of a man—not once.
She had always been isolated from them. Her mother would always tell her, "No man is meant to touch you, only if he makes your heart bloom."
Thus Sima walked the earth, with no man able to make her heart skip even the littlest of beats.
Velmo, who should have been the one with the most chance, was unable to do this.
Yet, Alaric...
"Tell me, when you look at me, what do you see?" asked Alaric, his lips moving closer to hers.
"I... ah... I..." Sima stammered. The man before her looked nothing like the Alaric she met a few days ago. He felt like a completely different person.
"Do I look like the typical man you hate? Or perhaps you want me to let you go... since I am a man..."
His words slowly settled on her chest.
"I don’t..."
"I ask again, Sima, do you dislike me?"
"Nooooo, no I don’t! I don’t dislike anyone, I just... I just don’t..." Sima slowly teared up. "I don’t know how to... show interest in a man. I just... don’t..."
Alaric smiled. "Then let me teach you. I’ll teach you to love and be loved. If anything, you can trust these very eyes that you look upon. Do they look like the eyes of a liar?"
Sima nodded her head.
Pleased with her response, Alaric cupped her cheeks with both his hands.
"Then allow me to love you, as a man should a woman, a Baron... should his woman..."
Sima closed her eyes, the taste of Alaric’s soft lips now resting on hers.
She knew she was about to become a woman, and Alaric was more than ready to make her one.
