"Since we have some things to sell, and I have some money, let's head to the item shop."

There was only one store inside this small village, so it didn't take long to find a woman with glasses behind a counter—Julian took charge to talk to the NPC, even noticing that fake item chest behind the counter, no longer destroyed and falling apart.

He sold the remaining pelts and earned just over 1 gold and 50 silver. Thanks to slaying over a hundred of the panthers and hounds, this money wasn't a lot in the later parts of the game, but at the start it could help buy some decent starting gear from the vendors.

"Julian, look at this!" Sena pointed to an item that cost 30 silver in total. The set gave 6 attack, 4 defence and 4 speed, and required level 9 to wear.

He tapped the shop window.

His broken screen blocked off the name until he opened the preview item panel.

The outfit was a short black kimono, covered in various floral patterns, black tights, a wooden geta and a hairpin. Julian's eyes gazed at Sena while she twirled the 3D image of her avatar in the outfit.

"Do you want it?"

"I do, but I only have 5 silver..."

"Give me a kiss, and I'll buy it for you."

Sena puckered her lips, but then stopped to form into a cute grin. "Buy me a weapon, I want to use a sword."

"So cheeky..." Julian rubbed the back of his neck as he turned towards the merchant.

The next moment, a soft, squshy feeling tickled his face—the sensation lingered, causing his entire body to quiver in shock.

Her plump lips rested on his left cheek before pulling away and winking. She took his hand and wrapped it around her waist.

"Now you have to buy it, hehe."

Julian shrugged, rolling his shoulders while tapping the purchase screen. He spent more money than planned, but either way she would be happy.
