Shinichi remained silent as he drew his sword.

Sensing the danger, Yusuke quickly grabbed a signal flare and fired it into the night sky. A brilliant red light exploded, signaling for reinforcements.

Amidst the light and shadow of the flare, only two figures remained standing in the forest. One of them wielded a needle-shaped long sword and wore a slashed forehead protector with the mark of Kirigakure, indicating his identity as Momochi Zabuza. The other figure donned a conspicuous Hokage Haori and carried the famed Totsuka no Tsurugi.

Ignoring his bleeding right arm, Zabuza backed away and remarked, "I didn't expect the Hokage to personally come after us!"

Kuroto smiled in response, "And I didn’t expect to find you among the group of bounty hunters that the Uchiha Clan hired. So, after your failed coup in Kirigakure, you planned to assist them here, huh, Momochi Zabuza?"

Taking another step back, Zabuza tried to reason, "Hokage, let's stop here… I will retreat peacefully. However, if you push me further, even you might sustain injuries, and that won't bode well for what you are about to face."

This wasn't the first time Zabuza had faced Kuroto. Years ago, when Kuroto was still a Chunin who had just awakened his Tenseigan, they encountered each other on a mission that involved Guy. At that time, Kuroto managed to defeat Zabuza, leaving a stain on the latter's record as a newly inducted Kirigakure assassination force member.
