Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space-Chapter 1854 - 1848 The Single
Chapter 1854: Chapter 1848 The Single
"Can you guys hurry up? You’re really dragging your feet." Qing Zhu looked at the people behind her. They had been out for ages, yet they were still lingering around, really making her feel frustrated.
"Qing Zhu, why do I feel like you’ve changed so much from before? What’s going on with you? Is it your period?" Qin Xue asked Qing Zhu.
"What do you think?" Qing Zhu couldn’t be bothered to respond to Qin Xue. She was truly feeling that the way things were developing was increasingly unexpected; who knows what will happen in the future? No one could understand what she was thinking.
"I’d say it’s likely." Qin Xue didn’t notice that Qing Zhu actually knew what she meant by ’period,’ naturally continuing the conversation.
"Let’s go, you guys." Qing Zhu walked ahead, feeling free now that the little girls didn’t need her.
Still, her irritated mind couldn’t find peace. Should she clarify things with Qin Xue and the others? Qing Zhu asked herself internally.
After pondering for a while, Qing Zhu decided not to tell them for now. Let them figure it out themselves later, or find another opportunity to talk to them. What she should focus on now is how to do things better.
"Do you guys need to buy anything else?" After wandering around for half a day and buying quite a few things.
"I’m done buying." Dongfang Li didn’t have much money left. If she bought more, she couldn’t find peace. Being without money makes one feel insecure.
"I’m done buying too." Qing Zhu saw Qin Xue looking at her and stated her position too. The rest of the stuff wasn’t necessary to buy in large quantities; just essentials were enough.
And now, they’ve bought everything they need, so she didn’t want to continue wandering around. Better to go back and set up the little nest where she’ll settle down.
"Alright then, you guys go back and tidy up your rooms. Come over for dinner this evening. Once you’re done, you can cook for yourselves afterward, okay?" Qin Xue looked at the pile of things in her hands. Time to head home, to rest and organize. Tonight’s meal would be at her place, and after that, everyone could fend for themselves.
"No problem here." Qing Zhu’s luggage was still at Qin Xue’s place, so she’d grab it while there for dinner.
"No problem here either, but I might be a bit slow." Dongfang Li had some physical restrictions and wasn’t very nimble with tasks, so it’s better to mention it beforehand.
"I’m here too." Qing Zhu was quicker to respond, thinking nothing of it before Qin Xue even spoke.
"That’s right, speak up if anything’s inconvenient. If anyone can help, we’ll lend a hand." Qin Xue nodded. Being away from home, it’s not easy for anyone; she too relied on friends’ help in the past. Now, being in a better situation, she wouldn’t refuse to help where she could.
"It’s great knowing you all." Dongfang Li felt what the old man said earlier was quite right. Meeting them was truly a stroke of luck for her.
"We’re all friends now, so no need to be so formal in the future. Speak up about any difficulties; it’s better to resolve them together than keep it to yourself." Qin Xue observed Dongfang Li, who seemed somewhat ashamed, likely due to recalling how guarded she was with them before.
"Yes, we’re all friends. Don’t you see how I’ve become informal with her?" Previously, before regaining her memory, Qing Zhu felt a bit unsure about herself. Now, she’s much more straightforward.
"Alright, thank you, Nannan. Thank Auntie for the help she gave us." Dongfang Li lowered her head to her child.
"Thank you, Auntie and Uncles, for helping me and my mom." Nannan was truly well-taught.
"No need to thank us. Take good care of your mom. Silver Wolf, why don’t you help them take their stuff back?" Qin Xue looked at all the things she had herself, plus the children, contemplating how unnecessary it was to go back and forth again. So she relied on Silver Wolf.
"Sure (No need)." Silver Wolf and Qing Zhu responded at the same time, although their answers were different.
