Reborn for Revenge: Find her Fated Alpha-Chapter 195: A Death
"This can’t be possible. No. This can’t be. I am dreaming. Yes. That’s the only reasonable answer." Dominic shook his head in pure shock.
His gaze was fixed on the girl, who looked atrociously beautiful, like a hell’s goddess with the wolf’s spirit growling behind her, her fingers dancing in the air, controlling the elements around her like her second nature.
Her blazing golden eyes looked like molten gold as she looked straight at him.
"You wish," she smiled.
Dominic ordered his men to attack the girl, and though the subordinates could see that attacking this girl would mean death, they had vowed loyalty to him and couldn’t help but comply.
The subordinates rushed to her with swords, some pointing their guns at her. However, Amelia couldn’t even feel the slightest worry or fear in her bones.
The shield extended around her, and she blinked her eyes, the minuscule second enough to shatter the weapons the subordinates were holding.
Unable to do anything against her with weapons, the subordinates rushed to her bare-handed.
Amelia moved her hand through her hair, untying it and letting it flow in the direction of the wind.
She began fighting her subordinates like a true warrior, utilizing her newfound elemental powers to her advantage. She raised the tree branches, tied some of the subordinates, and increased the water from the leaves’ elemental core, creating a small tornado that swept up a few subordinates in its massive form.
Dominic couldn’t accept his defeat from a mere girl like Amelia. Thus, when he noticed she was busy tackling his subordinates, he pulled out his dagger, one of the finest daggers that was ancestral and something given to him by Grayson.
That day when he announced Sebastian as the next king, he had given this ancestral dagger to Dominic, believing it to be even more important.
According to Grayson, he could kill anyone, any species, irrespective of their powers, with this dagger.
It was said that this dagger was beyond the five elements. It was crafted from pure Magna, once used to slay the strongest witch when she had gone haywire with her powers and started attacking innocents.
Dominic’s fingers tightened around the dagger that he always kept with himself, and he rushed towards Amelia using his Alpha speed.
"Moon wolf or not, I will kill you today!" Dominic screamed behind Amelia.
The girl turned quickly and was about to use her powers to push him away when someone beat her to it.
Dominic was tackled on the ground by a large midnight black wolf, and Amelia’s pupils dilated when her heart skipped a beat, her inner self immediately recognizing the large wolf that snarled at Dominic.
"Amelia!" Kyle rushed behind Cyrus, using his vampire speed as they tracked her through the locket he had placed on her neck.
Kyle wanted to say many things, but once he looked at Amelia’s magical form, he couldn’t say anything. He looked at her in pure awe before his gaze shifted to the torn clothes on her body, the dried blood on her face, the marks on her hands, and his anger surged.
"I should’ve killed him the day he dared to touch you the first time!" Kyle said.
Sylas was a legendary wolf in his own right, powerful and not easy to budge. However, as Kyle was his twin, he didn’t have to try hard to push him away.
Without wasting a second, he rushed to Dominic, pushing Sylas to a distance to do what he wanted to.
"How dare you touch my mate and hurt her?!" Kyle growled, forcing Dominic to stand in his place before he punched him repetitively until blood started flowing from his eyes, nose, and mouth.
Dominic tried to fight back, but he was no match for Kyle, who was blinded by pure anger.
As soon as Cyrus noticed Kyle’s anger and his eyes almost turning red, he urged Sylas to give him control.
"Kyle! No!" Cyrus shouted and lunged forward to stop Kyle.
However, it was too late.
Kyle had already snapped Dominic’s neck with a force that made his neck hang to the side as the man’s lifeless body fell to the ground with a thud.
Amora, who had been following Amelia’s phone that turned off right outside the Graveyard forests, heard from her subordinates about Cyrus coming to these forests too.
Without hesitation, she rushed inside, following her senses.
To say she was shocked when the scene before her registered in her mind would be an understatement.
She saw her son’s lifeless body falling on the ground, and a scream left her mouth.
"Dominic!" Amora shouted.
Her heart clenched painfully against her chest as she rushed forward to hug her son one last time.
She looked to her side at Amelia’s form and gulped. It wasn’t the time to think. She needed to save her son.
Amora shook her head.
She already lost Sebastian. She wasn’t ready to lose her elder son, too.
"No. No. You can’t die." Amora cried, hugging Dominic’s body close to her chest.
Cyrus thinned his lips and looked at the subordinates who were half dead, while the ones who could run left as soon as he arrived.
His gaze shifted to Kyle, who was nowhere near calm.
"Why did you do it? How could you? How could a subordinate kill their leader? He was my son! Royalty! You have to punish him, Cyrus!" Amora shouted.
Cyrus’s gaze hardened, and he looked at Kyle before pushing him back.
"This is not the place for you to stay. You have made things complicated. Amelia is quite wounded. Take her to the hospital. I will handle things. Now!" Cyrus said before he turned to Amelia.
Amelia’s wolf spirit, which had been lurking outside, calmed when she saw her mates were here and went back inside Amelia, making her body feel tired immediately.
Amelia’s body swayed in her place as she lost consciousness.
Kyle, who was about to argue, rushed forward and took her in his arms.
"Shhh... I am sorry I am so late, baby. Nothing will happen to you anymore," Kyle whispered, his anger dissipating slowly as he looked at his beautiful mate before kissing her forehead.
He walked to Cyrus, and the man looked at Amelia’s unconscious form, his heart clenching painfully.
He wanted to be there for his mate, to hug her, take her to the hospital, and care for her until she was alright, and then coax her.
But he couldn’t. As a king, and with one royal death preceding him, he felt compelled to take responsibility.
His fists clenched, and he bent before placing his forehead on hers. He bit into his hands and forced his hand on her mouth.
"My blood will stay with you until I can’t," he whispered before nodding at Kyle.
In the Royal Palace, as Elysia was talking to Rosaline about where Amora went and how Amelia didn’t show up for the trials, her heartbeat suddenly became erratic before she felt a piercing pain in her heart.
The teacup fell from her hands, and she crouched on the ground.
Rosaline’s brows furrowed, and she quickly placed her cup aside before kneeling before Elysia.
"Elysia, what’s wrong? Are you okay? Lola! Sheena! Call the royal doctor immediately!" Rosaline gave orders to the maids as she saw Elysia coughing up blood.
Elysia shook her head before she leaned on the side and lay on the carpet like a baby.
"Aaaaa!" A scream left her mouth, and Rosaline froze.
This... this wasn’t a disease or a random pain... this was...
"Aaa!" A scream left Rosaline’s mouth as their bond with Dominic broke.
Patrick, who had been training in his cell to contain his anger, froze when he felt the excruciating pain in his heart, making him double over on the ground.
He didn’t scream. He contained the pain, but he knew exactly what this was.
Patrick threw his sword aside and rushed to the palace to call the elders and hear what exactly happened. Was what he was feeling real?
Grayson’s heart skipped a beat, making the monitor beep loudly, alerting the doctors for a moment.
Since they all had tied their familial ties through blood, they all felt the snapping of the bond, everyone but Cyrus, who looked at the dead body of his so-called uncle, who never left a stone unturned when it came to hurting him.
He took a deep breath and nodded at Fabian.
"The doctors called. Grandfather’s condition is not good. You need to stop crying, grandma, or he will—" Cyrus couldn’t complete his sentence when Amora stood from her place and slapped Cyrus hard across the face.
Sylas growled inside him. It was already hard for him that they had to stay away from their mate, and now they have to endure this humiliation?
Cyrus glared at Sylas, forcing him to stay back.
"How could you? How could you act like nothing happened? You are a monster indeed. Your uncle is dead, and you are asking me to stop crying? He was my son! How could you?!" Amora shouted at him, slapping his chest aggressively.
Cyrus let her do it.
Though Dominic wasn’t an evil man, it was true that he was their family and closest to his grandfather.
When he saw his grandmother breaking and losing it, he held her hands and pulled her in for a hug. The woman started crying and wailing loudly in his arms.
"You have to punish that man. Kill him. Hang him before everyone," Amora whispered.
Cyrus pulled her out of the forests slowly, as her constant crying and breaking of the bond made her weak, resulting in her losing her consciousness.
He took a deep breath and looked at Trevor, who was waiting for his orders.
"What should we do, sir?" Trevor asked.
Cyrus looked at his grandmother and sighed.
Well, I can’t exactly throw him in the sewer for what he pulled. That would be too inhumane according to the family, and though black-blooded, he had royal blood. Arrange a proper funeral and cremation for him. Cyrus said through the mind link.
Cyrus was about to sit in the car with Amora when he suddenly stopped.
"Take her to the palace."
"But, sir, you—"
"I am going to the person who needs me and the one I should be with," Cyrus said, not being able to control his heart anymore, as he rushed to the hospital to see his wife.
