Chapter 1065: Grand Turbo cards

According to their information network, these useless Grand Turbo automobile cards were so rare and prized that people were actually paying real money in order to obtain it from other people!

Right now, there was even one card which was going for a lot of money! The {Parsche 911} was currently going on the black market for a thousand Sand Dollars!

That was 1/10th the money needed to obtain a GodForge piece. A heavenly, indestructible metal that could grant someone a power that could bend reality itself.

But instead of saving up for that, people were spending that money to buy a useless piece of parchment!

"They’re spending thousands of Sand Dollars each day refueling just to get more of these?! It doesn’t make sense! They’re just cards! They have no value!!!!"

What’s worse was that it seemed that the prices for these cards were getting higher and higher as the days passed!

After all, this was only a limited time event. Once the grand opening of the Gas Station was over, they would no longer give Booster Packs away.

This made them so much more valuable.

And according to their market research, it may even surpass the numbers for their exotic Magical Beasts!

"ARGGHHH!"

The Tri-Star patriarch wanted to pull the hair out of his head. To think that a piece of parchment paper was going to beat them in the market was frustrating to his core!

He picked up the cards strewn around the table with both his hands and started ripping them in half.

This was the only way he was going to relieve his frustration.

However...

"Patriarch, please do not do that. We actually think that if we keep these rare cards for a few more days, we can sell them at a high price."

After that, a loud scream echoed out of their building, creating tremors in the ground.

The Grand Turbo cards were Michael’s idea entirely. It was one of the true ’offenses’ that Michael thought of to deal with the Tri-Star company.

After all, he knew how great it was to collect cards as a hobby. He personally experienced the endorphin rush whenever he unpacked a super rare card.

And basically, he wanted to use that to counteract Tri-star’s entire business technique. He knew that they based their entire revenue system on the rarity and exoticness of the Magical Beasts, so he immediately thought of manufacturing his own form of rare products.

He wanted to show them that one could create a rare product without having to use living beings.

It wasn’t petty. Tri-star truly did some despicable ways to create ’rarity’ in Magical Beasts. That included exterminating entire species, unethically breeding beasts, and among other stuff that the Shadow Orcs uncovered.

Sure, trading cards were in a morally grey area themselves, but Michael wasn’t planning on selling the cards. They were a freebie for purchasing fuel.

Because of this, he could keep the sanctity of collection keeping, simply for the sake of it without it having to devolve into the problems it had back in his previous life.

There were still some of that, but that couldn’t be avoided.

Instead of monetary value, they would gain fame. The cards themselves were a preview of what kinds of automobiles they could sell in the future.

So, those cards were more of an advertisement than they were a freebie.

Michael had a lot of plans with automobiles in the future, especially with how much they could possibly earn from them.

Finally, Castelle was done with the general meeting with the officers. Finally, she was about to tell everybody about the revenue they received from the newly constructed Gas Station.

"Over the course of a few days, tens of thousands of automobiles have come through our Gas Station and refilled their tanks. And each day, more and more automobiles circulate through New Sparta thanks to the Mobius Factory.

And in total, we have amassed 259,782,900 Sand Dollars."

Michael and the rest of the Rebornian officers drew a sharp breath. Such a staggering amount.

Now, this must be prefaced. Half of that money came from them selling automobiles, and half from selling fuel.

However, the surge of fuel purchases could be accounted for by the fact that this was the first time automobile owners in New Sparta refueled their cars. That was why there was a huge spike, which would undoubtedly taper off in the future to become more of a stable line.

Also, the huge surge of Grand Turbo trading cards also skewed the fuel purchases even higher.

So, Michael couldn’t expect to earn that much money every single week.

And in truth, he should have earned a lot more money than this. With each automobile selling for 100,000 Sand Dollars, and the factory pumping out a thousand units per day, he should be earning close to a billion Sand Dollars.

But of course, most of those automobile purchases were in the form of installments, which was why he didn’t receive that much money in lump sum.

However, this did mean that the monthly revenue for the Reborn company had soared incredibly high.

Millions a month, at the very least.

"Young Master, would you look at this budget expense for the current month?" Castelle asked, showing Michael a piece of paper.

A piece of paper, which seemed to have lit a fire within the officers of Reborn.

"What is this, BU TO TO! How can the Creationists get 60% of the GodForge expenses for the month?!"

"RAH TA TA! This does not make sense! We deserve more of the share! Our Orcs have been growing faster than before and stifling us on this will be detrimental to our progress!"

Kong looked over the expense report and nodded. His Engineers were given more of the GodForge pieces than the Orcs.

"Miss Castelle, thank you for believing in us. Sir Narito, Sir Sasuki, pardon me, but I don’t think that you need the GodForge pieces as well as we do."

Michael sat back, watching the two sides argue with each other when he suddenly heard something in his head.
