Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife-Chapter 290 - : Are You Really a Woman?
Chapter 290: Chapter 290: Are You Really a Woman?
“Old man, the second young master has just had surgery less than a month ago. He still needs to focus on his recovery. Whether it’s about fostering relationships or having children, it can wait.” Pullan spoke earnestly.
Elder Piers gave Pullan a glance that seemed to say, what the hell do you know.
Pullan, “…” All right, he didn’t understand. This was so difficult.
Completely unaware of the situation, Abigail had already started changing Brandon Piers’ dressing.
Looking at the man’s well-healing scar, she thought of something, “I’ve noticed Grandpa’s been asking the kitchen to add a lot of nutritious stuff for you lately. I switched it out. You’re still in the recovery period. You can’t eat too many high-nutrition foods.”

“Oh, so it was you who swapped it out?” Brandon Piers finally figured out why the things he ordered were already replaced when they arrived—it was that chubby girl.
...
“Disappointed?” Abigail raised an eyebrow. She knew exactly what Grandpa had added to his meals.
Brandon Piers gave Abigail a sidelong glance, “Oh, I’m afraid it’s you who might be more disappointed.”
Abigail was a bit confused, “Why would I be disappointed?”
Brandon Piers didn’t say anything, pointing at his chest, “Hurry up with the medicine.”
Abigail looked at him strangely. She wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but his earlobes seemed to be pink. Was he shy? She had given him this medication quite a few times before without him getting shy!
Not understanding the reason, Abigail thought about it but still cautioned, “Your body can’t handle too much nutrition right now. Otherwise, the wound will develop granulomas.”
Given this man’s obsessive-compulsive tendencies, she suspected he’d want to change the entire layer of skin on his chest if granulomas formed.
“Hmm.”
“Hmm?” Seeing him obey so compliantly, Abigail found it strange and echoed him.
Brandon Piers ignored her, keeping his head down while watching her chubby little hands skillfully tend to his wound. He finally couldn’t help but break the silence, “Have you heard the rumors outside?”
“What rumors?” Abigail didn’t even look up, so she missed Brandon Piers’ awkwardness.
“Just… um… that.”
“Which one?” Abigail found him inexplicably odd.
Frustrated, Brandon Piers’ tone became harsh, “Aren’t you afraid of being a widow after marriage?!”
After he had uttered that statement last time, Grandpa went around seeking medical advice, as if fearing people wouldn’t know his grandson had issues. He didn’t believe for a second that the chubby girl hadn’t heard about it.
Abigail let out an “ah,” finally looking up. She was surprised he was addressing this. Embarrassed, she said, “Don’t worry, your body is perfectly fine. All your functions are normal. I’ve got confidence in my medical skills.”
Then, worried that he might actually have an issue, she added, “If there really is a problem, it definitely wasn’t caused by the surgery. It has nothing to do with me.”
As a surgeon, she was not taking the blame for any urology problems.
Brandon Piers was incredulous. Did that little chubby girl really think he meant that?
Which part of his statement implied that he felt her surgery left him with aftereffects? All he wanted was to clarify that he was okay! He still could!
But just listen to her words. If there really is a problem, it definitely wasn’t caused by the surgery and has nothing to do with her? Nothing to do with…
Is she even a woman?
Abigail didn’t understand why Brandon Piers suddenly got so angry. She felt uneasy, her hands slowing down, and carefully asked, “Could… could it be true that you really can’t anymore?”
Already furious, Brandon Piers suddenly extended his beautiful long finger and poked Abigail’s forehead, “Are you even a woman?”
“I’ve already had a baby with you, and you say I’m not a woman?” It was the first time Abigail had been poked on the forehead by anyone. She was a bit annoyed and inexplicably anxious. But hearing Brandon Piers’ words made her explode; surely he wasn’t implying that just because she was chubby, she wasn’t a woman?
Brandon Piers laughed in exasperation, looking at the chubby girl’s angry eyes, “Yes, you’re definitely a woman, a very straightforward one.”
Abigail, “…” How could he be this bullying?
