Rebirth of the Peak Young Master-Chapter 381 Very Different
Chapter 381: Chapter 381 Very Different
After all, in this coffee shop, Yang Tian was exactly such a Chinese person.
All this time, Long Juan walked straight toward Yang Tian.
But the Angel behind her frowned, even attempting to remind Long Jun to double-check again.
Because all cultivators, whether in their aura or their demeanor, were vastly different from ordinary people.
But now Yang Tian, in the Angel’s eyes, was plainly obvious—except for skin so flawless it would make any woman jealous, the man looked just like a regular foreign student from some average family!
Of course, most important of all was that Anji couldn’t feel any intense energy emanating from Yang Tian.
In truth, Long Jun shared the same doubts as the Angel, but even so, she didn’t let that hesitation show on her face. So she approached Yang Tian, smiling as she said, "Mr. Yang?"
"Yes, and you are?" Yang Tian smiled faintly.
Is this for real?
Hearing this, Long Jun glanced at Yang Tian again, still unable to sense any strong energy. Yet she continued to smile. "You can call me Kristen!"
Kristen?
Yang Tian, of course, knew this was an alias. He had been aware of her presence long before Long Duqian even entered the coffee shop.
After all, given Long Jun’s legendary aura, no matter how well she concealed it, someone of Yang Tian’s power couldn’t possibly miss it.
From Yang Tian’s perspective, knowing Long Jun was one of the Long Qu Vermilion Bird Group’s prominent figures made her a person worth keeping an eye on. But her trickling streams of golden hair, blue eyes, and facial features with very European contours—without any signs of cosmetic modification—added to the mystery.
What could be going on here?
Was it possible that in this world, someone could conceal transformations of this magnitude?
As this thought crossed his mind, a spark of interest flared within Yang Tian.
While Yang Tian was intrigued by Long Jun’s sudden appearance, Anji immediately furrowed her brow.
Initially, Yang Tian’s lack of intense energy had already left her bamboozled. Now, after introducing him to her immensely respected elder sister Long Jun, Yang Tian just stood there, silently staring at her.
In that instant, Yang Tian was demoted to a "drifter" in Anji’s appraisals—someone not worth further attention.
She immediately communicated telepathically to Long Juan: "Sister, is this Yang Yang?"
"I’m not entirely sure!"
Long Jun also frowned ever so slightly. While she wasn’t as quick to judge as the Angel, she didn’t discern in Yang Tian’s eyes the ferocity she typically saw in truly capable men.
Nevertheless, Long Juan found this moment particularly unsettling.
Not just because of how Yang Tian was looking at her, but because she detected an entirely different kind of meaning behind his gaze.
That look!
Yes, that was it. It was the look one gave an object—as if he didn’t even regard her as a woman.
Of course, the Angel had no idea how Long Jun was feeling at that moment. But as she heard Long Jun say she wasn’t sure, her brow furrowed even deeper.
Just then, her gaze drifted outside the coffee shop, and a smile crossed her lips.
Because a Bentley was slowly pulling up nearby, sporting identical license plates to the car parked in front of Dragon Manor’s entrance.
This was Sean’s car.
Evidently, after the Angel helped Long Jun reject Sean, he hadn’t left. Instead, he had somehow remained unnoticed and followed closely behind Long Jun.
If this were truly the situation, the Angel would normally be furious. But now, she actually found Sean’s timing to be a blessing.
So she immediately transmitted her thoughts: "Sister, I have an idea to determine if he really is Yang Tian, and we can also find out his true power!"
"Oh? Tell me!" Long Jun asked curiously.
The Angel pointed with her finger and smirked. "That idiot Sean came with me. I didn’t think he’d show up here so soon. He’s bound to cause trouble. Once things escalate, the answers will reveal themselves!"
"Escalate?"
Hearing this, Long Jun immediately understood Angel’s intent.
If Yang Tian wasn’t a cultivator, what level of power could he possibly display? To someone like the legendary Long Jun, the truth would become clear once conflict arose!
At that point, if Sean forced Yang Tian into action, his real capabilities would surface, enabling her to gauge whether this person was truly Yang Tian!
With this realization, Long Juan promptly nodded, agreeing with Angel’s plan.
Yet in their silent exchange of glances, neither noticed the slight shake of Yang Tian’s head.
With his strength, even if their conversation was telepathic, Yang Tian could hear every word with crystal clarity.
Amusingly, his curiosity about Long Juan’s arrival had already sparked this chain of events.
But Yang Tian made no move to stop it.
He simply maintained a faint smile, his eyes narrowing slightly.
In this world, those who thought they could intimidate Yang Tian’s domain would soon understand—they simply did not exist.
"Young master! Miss Kristen is now sitting with a Chinese man. It seems he’s the person she came here to meet."
Outside the coffee shop, a man in a black suit stood respectfully by the Bentley, addressing Sean inside.
"A man?"
Hearing the report, Sean instantly flew into a rage.
Over the past few days, he had spent an enormous amount of time pursuing Long Jun. While his initial pursuit was on orders from his father, Anthony, upon meeting Long herself, he was awestruck by her Heavenly Person-like charm. Immediately, he saw Long Jun as someone he must claim.
He had embarked on an unprecedented frenzy of courtship, even sending a bouquet of flowers to Dragon Manor every morning for an entire week.
But Long Jun had ignored him entirely, and now he was being informed that, despite her claims of being unwell, she had come out to meet another man.
Sean, who always held himself in such high esteem, could not bear it.
He seethed with anger, "A man? So it’s a man? After everything I’ve done for her, she had the audacity to come here to meet some other random guy?"
Sean stormed out of the car and headed directly towards the coffee shop.
The man in the suit who had delivered the report immediately tried to stop him: "Young master, no! Miss Kristen is our Black Society’s newly appointed leader in Fantian City, handpicked by Lord Anthony with strict orders that she must not be offended!"
"Offended? Then why don’t I see how she reacts if we make her situation... unavoidable? Cook the rice and it’s done—she’ll still end up in this young master’s bed at the end of the day!"
Sean, overcome by anger, paid no heed to the man’s protests and marched forward.
Unable to stop him, the suited man could only step aside and suggest, "Master, I believe the Chinese man is the root of this problem. Why don’t we eliminate him first?"
"Chinese?"
Hearing this, Sean’s eyes lit up. "Good! If he dares meddle with this young master’s affairs, he’ll have to pay for it! Everyone, follow me!"
Sean didn’t hesitate further and barged into the coffee shop.
The suited man let out a sigh of relief, knowing at least the brunt of Sean’s wrath was now redirected toward Yang Tian.
From his perspective, as long as they didn’t start a larger confrontation, things would remain manageable.
He quickly fired off a message to Anthony and instructed the others to keep up with Sean.
Inside the coffee shop.
The Angel had just concluded her silent discussion with Long Jun when she noticed Sean burst in, brimming with energy.
It made her feel a thrill of anticipation, though her face darkened as she said, "Miss Kristen, what’s he doing here?"
Already briefed telepathically by Angel, Long Jun frowned deeply and said, "I’m not sure, but it doesn’t appear to be anything good!"
Something wrong?
Watching their reactions, Yang Tian didn’t let slip anything, maintaining the facade of an innocent bystander: "What’s going on?"
"My sincerest apologies, Mr. Yang."
