Re: Player-Chapter 125: [Circumstances!]
"A Fate Weaver, huh? The Heavens must be mocking me."
I looked at him with my eyes wide open. For a few seconds, I forgot to breathe, but then my consciousness came back naturally to me as I calmed down.
"You know of… the Fate Weavers?" I asked as I looked at him.
He paused for a moment before asking," how long has it been that you appeared in this world? No… tell me how many Primordials have you met till now?"
I paused for a moment before wondering how I should go about answering things… but since I could restart all over…
"4 months and 1 Primordial," I answered.
"That young?!" He spoke out in disbelief.
"Kind of," I answered again, making him look at me before pondering over something as he looked at me,
"Just out of curiosity… do you know who am I? Or even what I am talking about?"
I pondered before speaking," I am from a future of the mortals, so I know a bit about the future. Though it is my first time meeting you. As for the primordials and stuff… I am afraid that I don't know more than I have been told."
By this time, all that fear that I was feeling vanished, as if it had never existed.
'Strange…' I thought before focusing back on him.
He looked at me for a moment before speaking," seems like you really don't know much, huh?"
'Seems like it's not all too impossible to talk to him… though the others don't seem to fair as much,' I thought as I looked down below.
They all seemed to be lifeless as they stood there watching up, staring in the sky with their eyes instilled with fear.
"Well, this is a bit of a tricky situation…" he spoke out of nowhere, making me confused a little. Though he explained his words saying,
"By the rules, I am not allowed to kill a Fate Weaver with more than 7 restrictions, and I myself cannot die, so we are trapped here. I cannot let you go out of this place either, or else you might help the prisoners."
"Not allowed to kill?" I asked, a bit surprised.
"Yeah. Since we were too powerful, the Primordials placed some restrictions on us regarding you people as well." He shook his head in dejection. He seemed to be sad about it.
I patted his back to make him feel better.
"Don't worry dude. We all got our own situations." I made a tired sigh, and he turned at me with a rather stupefied look.
His eyes seemed to speak 'You alright in the head?'
"But can't you just send us back to where we came from?" I asked with curiosity.
He looked at me for a brief moment and then chuckled as he answered," aren't you a strange one?"
Floating in the air, he stretched a little as he mumbled," perhaps it must be something related to your special powers. Anyway, I don't think I can do that. I don't have the gate keys to do that."
"Gate Keys?" I asked curiously.
"To open a path from one side to another. To travel in between the 5 realms, you know? You do know the 5 realms, right?" He asked, looking at my face, wondering if I knew what he was talking about.
"Mortal Realm, Demon Realm, Realm of Gods, Inverse Realm and the forgotten realm?" I asked back, wondering if we were on the same page.
"Yup. Those," he spoke continuing,
"They are generally spread around various places within various dimensions. Once used, they get lost again, reemerging at a random place in the same dimensions."
I looked at him with a deep look for a moment as I gave it a bit of thought.
"What?" He asked as he saw my deep gaze.
"Hypothetically speaking, if I happen to have one key, will you open it for me and send all of us back?" I asked with a mysterious look.
"Hmmm… you don't seem to have a key…" he mumbled.
"Just answer," I said.
"Well. If you put it that way, then yeah, why not? It will get me out of this situation too, you know?" He seemed pretty cool about it.
But just in case, I asked again,
"All of us? Including the very city and everyone there?"
At my words, he then pondered a little about it before speaking,
"Hmmm… should I be honest about it? Might hurt your feelings."
"You care about my feelings?" I looked at him with a smirk.
"Nope. Not one bit," he answered before speaking,
"If you want to convince me to send all of them back, then you will need to present something in return for it as well."
"A deal, huh? Not that I mind. So, what do you want?"
At this point, it was a rather strange conversation.
We were seriously discussing a hypothetical situation that shouldn't even matter. I should probably ask him about it after I get what I want. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
"What do you think is worth so many lives and the entire city and the forest?" He smirked back at me.
"Beats me. You already got an eternal life and stuff… you have to tell me what you want," I honestly was stumped a little.
There was little I could do about it.
"If you are so curious, then I guess I'll throw it at you. I want you to find me the location of a certain God. His name is Lirawern, the forgotten Ancient God of Irrationality."
He spoke as he looked at me. His face seemed not so happy at the moment, but… if it was just information… then maybe I could do something about it.
'God of irrationality, huh? I think I have heard that name somewhere,' I thought as I got deeper in my thoughts.
"All right. Is that all?" I asked, and he gave me a deep look.
His serious face vanished as a smile formed on his face.
"For you to make that face… I wonder what kind of powers you have. Fate Weaver… what is your name?" He asked with a respect filled voice.
"Adam… Adam Wesker," I spoke as I opened my system.
"I will remember that name," he added.
"Sure sure, you will," I gave him a quick smile before
