Raised From The Wild-Chapter 341: Apollo and Artemis Stellar Performance

Princess Amaya carefully considered her choices and ultimately chose to climb onto the back of her magnificent steed, Apollo. With grace and skill, her horse deftly maneuvered around the other horse, leaping elegantly within the confines of the arena.

As the first performer struggled to rein in her unruly horse, the agitated animal bucked and kicked, attempting to unseat its rider as it made a beeline for Apollo.

Amaya’s urgent voice pierced the air as she called out to Apollo, "Apollo, try to stay as far as possible from that black horse." Apollo, sensing the urgency in her tone, quickly grasped her intention and obediently ran to the farthest corner of the arena.

As Amaya glanced behind her, she noticed the girl struggling to maintain her hold on the horse was on the verge of being thrown off. Without hesitation, Amaya firmly grasped Apollo’s reins and swiftly turned back. Despite the inherent danger, she knew she had to act to prevent the girl from sustaining serious injuries when thrown off from such a big horse.

The crowd clamored for Amaya to steer clear of the frantic, agitated horse, but she seemed deaf to their shouts. Instead, she guided Apollo closer to the rampaging animal. When she was near enough, she reached out and seized the girl clad in black riding gear, pulling her close and landing her astride in front of her.

Apollo ran and evaded the black horse. A security personnel swiftly discharged a tranquilizer dart, hitting the mad horse in the body and causing it to swiftly collapse to the ground.

Princess Amaya quickly dismounted from her horse, and extended her hand to help the trembling girl down from Apollo. Within moments, a team of medical personnel arrived and swiftly attended to the distressed girl, before escorting her out of the arena.

After the unconscious horse was removed, the competition resumed. Princess Amaya reentered the arena with her magnificent steed, Apollo. The horse’s four legs were prancing harmoniously to the music and its graceful white tail swayed elegantly as they moved around the arena. The audience was treated to a stellar performance, and as the music crescendoed to a jovial tone, Apollos’s leg movement became complex and urgent but elegant and graceful. It was just like doing a tap dance on four legs. At the end of the performance, the magnificent white horse did something that no other horse did. It bent its two front legs as if doing a curtsy to the spectators. The crowd erupted into a thundering applause.

"Good boy!" Amaya gently caressed Apollo’s main as they exited the arena, and she accompanied the horse back to the stable.

The screen on Amaya’s livestream was silent for a second. Then, a barrage of comments floated.

’Did you see the white horse did a graceful curtsy? Unbelievable.’

’I have seen nothing like this before. Princess Amaya and her horse, Apollo, will definitely win the freestyle dressage.’

’How did she train that horse? What breed is that? I don’t normally see a white horse being used in equestrian.’

’I really regretted not beating on her. The betting site was already closed.’

Princess Amaya was unaware that she had once again caused a stir on the internet. She didn’t watch the rest of the dressage competition, but went directly to the individual finals for horse jumping. Sometimes, she would also take them riding at the foot of the mountain, where there were many natural and difficult barriers.

At first, she trained in dressage with Artemis, as she was a female horse. But to her surprise, Apollo fared better on the horse dance steps, and Artemis was pretty good at jumping and clearing the barriers.

When Amaya was called to enter the arena, she barely caught her breath. Her trainer looked at her worriedly, but in the end, he smiled at her with encouragement.

"Good luck, Princess. Go for the gold."

Princess Amaya nodded at him before urging Artemis with her legs.

The athlete before her was not able to clear two of the barriers because they were placed close to each other, leaving almost no space for the horse to make a clean jump but Amaya was not scared nor nervous.

When they saw how the barriers were set up and the magnificent horses that preceded Amaya, they had little confidence that the princess would win. Compared to the other horses, Artemis seemed smaller and thinner.

"This is it, Artemis. Go for it," she shouted as if to encourage her horse. Artemis jumped, and she cleared the first barrier with ease, as well as the subsequent barriers. Even with the triple barriers that were placed close to each other, Artemis was able to successfully jump over them.

When Princess Amaya and Artemis crossed the last barrier, a four-meter-wide ditch with water, the crowd erupted into applause that sounded like rolling drums.

The moment Amaya dismounted Artemis, her trainer met her excitedly and high-fived her.

"That was a stellar performance, Princess. You have a good horse." The trainer gave Artemis an apple, which the horse happily munched.

The happy conversation of the duo was cut when a group of sports officials approached Princess Amaya and her trainer.

"Princess, please accompany us to the admin building. We have some questions to ask and hope you will cooperate."
