Quick Transmigration: Irresistible Beauty-Chapter 263: The Gentle Psychiatrist (33)
The young man could not help but hate the two words "next time". "Next time" was such an ambiguous word that could mean one day later, one month later, a year later, or even a decade later.
There was simply no set time to it.
In the past, the young man only thought that the treatment procedure of this psychiatrist of his was okay. Their appointments were tolerable and not particularly objectionable. But in recent days, whenever he lies in bed at night and closes his eyes, the images that come to his mind are all related to Yue Ran. The young woman's image in his mind is rather blurred as if she was covered by a layer of fog, but it has a hazy sense of beauty.
The longer the time passed, the more he felt that kind of scratching itch that made him want to go crazy. Cheng Ying frowned and subconsciously bit his fingernails, which was a manifestation of his anxiety.
What does Yue Ran mean by treating himself like that? Does she like him? Or was it just a form of treatment? Will Yue Ran kiss someone that she does not even like?
Cheng Ying's head was in a mess, and he inadvertently gazed out the window without focus.
But suddenly he thought of a question in his head. What about him? How does he feel about Yue Ran? Does he even like Yue Ran?
Once he realized this problem, his heart suddenly seemed to have been equipped with a motor, powered by electricity or internal combustion, and it banged against his chest so hard that he almost thought that he had some kind of heart problem.
Cheng Ying did not quite understand whether this feeling of excitement mixed with tension and slight pain could even be called liking, but then again, he did not quite understand a lot of things either.
These past few years of being isolated from society made the young man feel that his mind had regressed, as if he had lost the ability to deal with his relationships with others, but the emotions that kept rising in his heart made him feel at a loss.
This feeling makes him feel eager to do something, but he does not know what to do, so he can only wait in place anxiously.
The young man endured this kind of feeling for a few more days, and finally could not bear it anymore. He still did not know how he really felt about Yue Ran, but he knew one thing very clearly: He wanted to see her.
So he went to the housekeeper and asked, "Did… Did Doctor Yue say… when she will come over… the next time?"
The housekeeper was stunned for a moment before he then realized that his young master was actually talking to him. Forgive him for reacting behind time, but this kind of situation, where Cheng Ying would voluntarily want to talk to him, was even rarer than the appearance of the blue moon in the sky.
Has the sky outside collapsed? Has the apocalypse arrived?
The housekeeper sneakily peeked outside the window to check if the world was ending whatsoever but found out that the weather was great. The sun was shining its gentle golden glow onto the land, the wind gently ruffled the leaves on the trees outside, birds were chirping… Overall, it was a really wonderful day.
So the world was not ending. The housekeeper felt a little relieved and nodded lightly to himself.
Although the housekeeper felt joy and was a little weirded out at the same time, he still dutifully replied to his young master in a cautious manner when he had registered the young man's words in his mind, "Young master, Doctor Yue did not say anything about this. Shall I call her and ask?"
It was very, very rare for Cheng Ying to talk to the servants of the residence. Even the housekeeper himself has not heard Cheng Ying's voice for almost a month or so. And hearing the young man ask about Yue Ran, the housekeeper could not help but feel a little excited.
The more outgoing his young master is, the faster his young master will get better!
"Um… no, no need," Cheng Ying replied. "I better go… and find her in person."
The housekeeper was stunned for a moment and then asked to confirm the young man's intention, "Young Master? Are you saying that you want to go out?"
The last word "voluntarily" was left unsaid for good reasons.
"Um… yes," Cheng Ying confirmed. "I… I want to go out… to find her. Do… do you… know her address?"
"Yes, young master, I do know of the address of where Doctor Yue is," the housekeeper said. "But, young master, is it alright for you to go out?"
The housekeeper wiped the sweat from his forehead and asked the young man in a low voice. He could still remember the last time the young master went out with the Cheng family, which included his mother, his father, and his siblings.
The young master went out of the house looking just fine, but when he came back, he had vomited all the food that he had eaten and even banged his head against the wall for unknown reasons.
On the contrary, when Doctor Yue sent the young master back the last time, he looked fine and he even ate a few more bites of food than he normally did, which was simply good news.
"How about I ask Doctor Yue to pick you up?" The housekeeper suggested.
"No… no need… I… I will go there myself," Cheng Ying said in reply.
"Then… then I will drive you there," the housekeeper said after silently thinking about the pros and cons of Cheng Ying's decision in his head.
"Um… thank you," Cheng Ying muttered out of his gratitude.
"There is no need to be so polite to me, young master," the housekeeper said.
