Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 513: Clash With The Hunter (1)
One good thing about having superior-grade skills and techniques is that the attack power they unleash when used is several times stronger than that of inferior ones.
Kent's skills are several times stronger than the limit of the world he is in, and as such, he has stronger attack power than one could imagine.
His soul strength is currently at Tier 11, allowing him to harness more of his cultivation. One good thing about having a stronger soul is that he can harness more of his cultivation's spiritual essence.
This allows him to use more attack power without injuring his soul.
All skills require some soul essence to unleash, and as such, if his soul strength isn't strong enough, he wouldn't be able to unleash the attack.
But even if he forces himself and uses it, the chances of injuring his soul are very high. Thankfully, he is at the 11th Tier now and still growing.
Then there is the fact that he had broken a limit on himself, which in this case has led to more modifications to his body. His meridians widened, allowing him to harness more of his energy into the attacks.
The fact that he had broken a limit is already enough to allow him to harness more of his strength. As for his body cultivation, that one is a bonus.
So when the bone dragon appeared, he didn't falter in his attacks.
He first used the Rapid Slash to overwhelm it, and then from there, he started Lunar Eclipse Slash to bombard it with powerful sword attacks.
The lady Kent, initially believed to be the hunter, has now merged with the dragon, making it even stronger than the lady was before merging with the dragon.
However, in under five minutes, Kent had managed to break some bones and lower its defense significantly.
'At this rate, I wonder where the real deal is or when they will arrive.' Knowing the hunter was merely using minions made him become alert.
His senses were spreading through the space for any signs of the real hunter, but nothing clicked. He even exerted his soul strength, but nothing seemed to click.
"What if?" Kent paused and turned to his left, watching his team clashing with the 14 abominations.
'I am no genius, but I know there is a range within which a person must be to release and maintain control of their undead, especially if they are not like mine.
This means they should be close by, but they are hidden from sight. In that case, why not look for them closely this time, considering the dragon isn't on the level that must be feared?'
Kent sighed, not minding the bone dragon. He had already established that his strength was at the peak of the Core Formation stage, so worrying about the wannabe bone dragon was just him worrying himself.
His Gaze techniques were already enough.
The Lunar Eclipse Slash was unleashing sword arcs, while the Thousand Blade Reflections was multiplying the attacks, creating hundreds of copies.
The dragon couldn't get closer.
'Since Akira said I should train my senses, I'd better figure this one out before turning to the tower if I can't.' Kent focused his soul strength, spreading it hundreds of miles.
He focused on the smallest detail, exploring every tiny aspect.
This time, he took his time, so when he saw something odd, he knew he had found something.
Twelve miles from where the battle was raging, a small dark orb, about the size of an egg, was sitting quietly on the ground, exuding little to no aura.
Kent had missed this at first, but this time, he found it odd.
However, he didn't take any action. If his suspicion was right and this orb had something to do with the real hunter, then he had to be careful.
He quickly made a plan on how to approach it and put it into action almost immediately. He didn't even bother with the dragon, which was nearly reduced to broken bones.
"A true Bone Dragon of a necromancer shouldn't be this weak. I guess this hunter is just a basic one." His comment ended with a sudden swing of his sword.
"Void Cleave."
Kent was 1 km away, knowing that the second form of the Annihilation Sword Techniques required a certain distance to unleash its full power.
So he unleashed it, and as the sword arc closed in on the dragon, it started getting more powerful until it slammed into its bony head, cracking it completely.
The moment the dragon's head exploded, a powerful soul force erupted from Kent, moving in a single direction.
The orb, sitting 12 miles away, cracked when the soul energy surrounded it. The crack widened, and then it exploded into a dark mist.
The mist formed into a person who immediately coughed up blood. She was clad in black clothes from head to toe, with a dark hood covering her head.
"You do know only cowards hide, right?" Kent said, unleashing a powerful swing again, sending a Void Cleave toward the hunter, whose actual body had now appeared and was injured in the soul.
The attack slammed into her, sending her flying. She slammed into the ground but quickly got back on her feet.
"How? My soul concealment was perfect," she said.
Kent sneered and replied, "I guess it wasn't perfect enough."
"Bullshit! I know my control is perfect. There was no way you could have found me." The hunter was still in disbelief, refusing to accept that she had been discovered.
"Tell that to the next Tier 10 you'll fight." The hunter narrowed her eyes at Kent when she heard his reply.
Then they widened as she sensed something unbelievable.
"Impossible." She sensed Kent's Tier 11 soul strength only because he allowed her to. Watching the shocked look on her face, Kent smirk
"Nothing is impossible, lady. Now you can die in peace," Kent said, channeling lightning into his sword.
However, just as he was about to unleash the attack, a figure appeared above, looking down on both him and the hunter. She retrieved an item from her space ring.
They both sensed something grim when a triangular-shaped item appeared in the newcomer's hand.
"The Oracles send their greetings. Now die." The lady in the air spoke, channeling her energy into the triangular-shaped item.
"No, stop!" the hunter shouted. But the lady in the air ignored her panic. The hunter seemed to recognize the item the lady was holding, which made her want to escape. However, Kent attacked, halting her steps..
In that instant, the lady in the air activated the item.
"Dead Region Teleporter, activate." The lady threw the item at Kent and the hunter, whose bodies were immediately locked in place.
There was panic on the hunter's face. However, on Kent's face, no panic could be seen. He turned and looked at the lady as he felt his body being pulled into the teleporter.
"The Dead Region, huh? I didn't know I'd be going back this soon... Guess there's no place like home."
His body vanished into the teleporter along with the hunter who was crying her heart out...
The lady who activated the teleporter frowned when she heard what Kent just said. "Did he just say, 'There's no place like home'?" Clearly, she had heard him right.
To make matters worse, Kaizo and the rest of Kent's team appeared at the spot where he had vanished. The lady in the air distanced herself. However, her frown deepened when she heard Kaizo speak.
"Looks like the master has gone back home. This means our job is done here."
Kaizo turned toward the lady's direction and smiled. "Thank you for making the trip short for my master. We will be sure to pay you and your organization a proper visit to offer our thanks."
With that, they vanished back into the tower.
Since the hunter was gone, her undead also vanished.
"I need to report this," the lady, who was the 16th Oracle, said with a panicked voice as she began speeding away. The outcome she expected didn't happen.
